Almost there! Mostly screwing around but some welding talk: torch control in 2T and 4T modes, weld distortion, that sort of stuff. ---- Music: "About That Oldie" Vibe Tracks
Milk it as long as you can!! This video was so great! The editing was great, loved the sound of the welder turning on as you tacked👏👏 I wish all welders came with your argon alarm!
This Old Welding Channel! ;) Remember when you had a lathe and a mill? Great looking cart!, I like the fabricated radiuses(?)...radii(?)..radiants(?)...bends.
Zinc fumes are tasty !! I love when I weld my casters on.. right away the Mr troll says what happens when you need to change it now you can't unbolt it!!? Good thing I know how to fix stuff ... and break it.
plus weld is so much cheaper than bolts you have enough money left over to pay for a few grains of abrasive and more weld if you need to reattach the wheels later. If you do it really fast the rubber doesn't even melt! bolts come loose easier than welds too.
This is just like refueling nuclear submarines. That, or I was being made fun of by the squids who told me they cut through all of the decks to get down to the reactor, service it, then weld new deck plates in.
First I was like "He can't do a chamfer! Only a simpleton... OOOOOoohhhh - he's going to fabricate it." Then I was like "GASP! He's changed back to a double chamfer? Well that's cheating! He ca... OOOOOhhh - he re-fabricated to get a better radius." Such a roller coaster ride. I laughed, I cried, it was better than CATS. Now, fetch me my fainting couch. All this excitement has overrun my circuits, and I need someone to take me down to maintenance before I swoon.
@@alphamike2839 probably a lot of dudes running around named Rob Johnson. I hear one of them even sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads so he could play the guitar
"You really CAN milk a welding cart!" - I laughed so hard. Very nice. I really love your videos and I'm happy you drop all those explanations and tips along the way. I think no one will mind the extra videos.
Thanks Tony, love your new welder, gona pick me one up, by that I mean buy one😊. My harbor freight tig leaves much to be desired. Thanks for stopping by the channel, I really do appreciate it. The wife also said hello, she is also a fan of yours👍
heheheheh, Chicken butt... haven't heard that for about 18 years. Despite all the other comments here....I understood EVERYTHING! Except the welding part. I'm still trying to figure out how the bubblegum is used.
I have never laughed so hard at any videos on the web. The great production, obscure jokes and educational factors make this and AvE my two favorite channels!
Two things: 1) awesome idea on fabricating the corner radiuses. I love the way that looked, and might be incorporating something like that in an upcoming project. 2) awesome explanation on 2T vs 4T. You continue to deliver amazing videos!
I do not get it that 5 people disliked this video, it’s a masterpiece. It’s a superb combination of humour, great craftmanship, welding, welding information, a chainsaw and great editing
Ahh the days of actual dislike COUNTS. But..yeah, I've always thought that if you dislike a video, you should have to explain WHY. So that we know it's not some troll disliking because they can.
I love your channel. One of the only channels I can laugh the whole time while watching your videos and still come out learning something I haven’t thought of. Great work!
I do my fingernails with a grinder, too. Gotta use a chopsaw on my toenails, though. Great vid, Tony, watching you weld and fabricate is a thing of pure beauty.
Love the humour that seems to come so naturally with your commentary! Find myself laughing at the subtile jokes. Great stuff! Good concise information. Thanks for sharing! John
something about the random inset shots of weld beads while talking about 2T Vs 4T, breaks up the flow and makes the information delivery a little more palatable. Very well presented!
Marvelous simple marvelous, I so badly want to learn how to weld! You can make such cool stuff. Keep feeding my brain, filling it with visions of metal marvels created with my own two hands. Keep em coming Tony your a consummate entertainer/teacher, your content is the best.
Always learn so much on this channel, and has humor to help you remember it, love your videos Tony, hope your week has been good, and hope your weekend is just as good :)
Man I really never get tired of watching your video! I'm not even that much of a welder I just love all of the editing that you put in your Videos. I am a small RUclips route and I try to learn from what you do. Keep making great videos man
I don't know where you get it from man. You fill many moments of idle youtubery for me here in a tropical armpit of the planet with good information for a day when I get back to civilization and set my shop back up. A heartfelt thanks for the effort you take to make good information entertaining and uplifting.
I love your welding videos and humor man! I showed my gf and she said it wasn’t funny. We’re not together anymore. Keep making content! Love your videos!
I was watching this in the wee hours of the morning, and during a welding bit, I apparently fell asleep, so when that alarm came on saying "RED ALERT," it woke me up and scared the shit out of me
I can't be the only one who has seen/heard this discussion before but come here and its like a light goes off and now you understand 2T and 4T (I assume those are consistent across all makes). Whatever part III is, I think you "owe" it to us to have a part IV with two cameras, one on the torch one on the foot control so that we can see the action as you write "subscribe". Thanks, TOT.
Brilliant as ever, good choice on the curves, great look. My tig welder doesn't seem to have a pedal facility, so I rely heavily on 4T, took a while to get started with it, I could have done with this video a year ago when I bought it :)
geez tony, your entertaining and give a bit of education. Keep up the videos, I know I like them, spots of humor is always keeping my attention. now to wait for pt 3.
Great explanation / animation of weld contraction, should help a lot of people understand the concept better. Great video as always, makes me wish I had a sense of humor. You didn't fool me for one minute on the chainsaw, you switched in a roller tip bar off camera to make that bandsaw blade make that on edge bend around the tip. ATB, Robin
You just convinced a generation of (how do I say this nicely)...umm, people, we'll just go with people...you just convinced these people that they can put a bandsaw blade on a chainsaw...and I love it.
Although a machinist would say 75/100 and millimeters and kilometers are usually the only metric length units we use fractions for. This doesn't often lead to confusion though, because one relates to precision mechanics and the other relates to walking distances.
I love the comedy aspect to your videos. I feel like I'm watching Tim allen with Bob Ross. All I've been doing is binge watching mostly everything you do.
I always make a point of blowing a "vent hole" in whatever I weld.
Milk it as long as you can!! This video was so great! The editing was great, loved the sound of the welder turning on as you tacked👏👏 I wish all welders came with your argon alarm!
JD Brewer I think he got it from a guy on Starship NCC-1701 called Scotty
Thanks JD!
I feel smarter already Tony. Thanks for the informative and entertaining vid!
Tony: This is something you're really going to like. I'm going to... **RIIING**
Me: You son-of-a-bitch!
LOL moment for me. I love this kind of foolery.
I have seen that too often in a work environment. For me it was funny like political humor is, it makes you laugh and sad at the same time.
This Old Welding Channel! ;)
Remember when you had a lathe and a mill?
Great looking cart!, I like the fabricated radiuses(?)...radii(?)..radiants(?)...bends.
metalworking, Stefan, _metalworking_ . and sometimes wood. and maybe fruit. ;)
Thats all fine. Just stay away from timetravel!
every video, I watch in hopes I see a potato
Turnip between centers!
Pete Lorenzo aves got a video on that
I feel like the Chain-band-saw is next level Ichiban Moto style trolling.
STOP EVERYTHING, TONY'S GOT A NEW VIDEO UP; YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
Zinc fumes are tasty !! I love when I weld my casters on.. right away the Mr troll says what happens when you need to change it now you can't unbolt it!!? Good thing I know how to fix stuff ... and break it.
jimmydiresta if you built it from scratch then why can't you replace the castors? Wish trolls would understand that
plus weld is so much cheaper than bolts you have enough money left over to pay for a few grains of abrasive and more weld if you need to reattach the wheels later. If you do it really fast the rubber doesn't even melt! bolts come loose easier than welds too.
totally hear what you're saying, but, honestly, in my case: old fashioned lazy. :)
jimmydiresta Thankyou. cutting and re welding casters is way quicker than bolts
This is just like refueling nuclear submarines. That, or I was being made fun of by the squids who told me they cut through all of the decks to get down to the reactor, service it, then weld new deck plates in.
That was a great video
thanks big J!
The god of welding has spoken

I love how you so easily meld great and educational video making with dad jokes. Tony, you're one of the greatest channels on RUclips.
"You really CAN milk a welding cart!" - I laughed so hard. Very nice. I really love your videos and I'm happy you drop all those explanations and tips along the way. I think no one will mind the extra videos.
I stopped re-watching an this old Tony episode (the cheap drill press one) to watch this video. Yeah, I know. My life is pretty much perfect.
The comedic value in these videos is so high that I do not know for which reason I watch them: the knowledge or the comedy.
Thanks Tony, love your new welder, gona pick me one up, by that I mean buy one😊. My harbor freight tig leaves much to be desired. Thanks for stopping by the channel, I really do appreciate it. The wife also said hello, she is also a fan of yours👍
my pleasure, Steve, keep the videos coming!

My absolute favorite welding video to date. Entertaining, informative. What's not to love.
I know nothing about welding but your sense of humor and great explanations makes for a great YT experience.... Keep up the good work.
Single best and most in depth description of 2t and 4t I've ever seen. Thank you Mr. Tony!
Tony your comedy is a bright spot on youtube
I wish I had even 10% of your knowledge Tony! Awesome video as always, entertaining and interesting!
The random comedic insertions were so funny. Loved it.
Two things:
1) awesome idea on fabricating the corner radiuses. I love the way that looked, and might be incorporating something like that in an upcoming project.
2) awesome explanation on 2T vs 4T.
You continue to deliver amazing videos!
Thanks David!
In addition to useful information, the production quality of your videos is on whole different level! Thank you for making these videos!
Do you have to mix oil in the electricity for 2T mode?
can't believe I missed that analogy.. would've worked perfect for 2Tv4T. gonna go stand in the corner a minute.
This Old Tony Yeah I was thinking about that.. will regular gasoline work for 4t?
I wish I had a welder, so I could make a cart for it!
Excellent Tips and sequence of ops for welding and didn't even blow my coffee through my nose this time! Thanks Tony..just the best!

Best metal working channel on You Tube...honest.
I learn stuff and get a big kick out of your presentation.
Thank you This Old Tony.
This Old (may I call you 'this old?') Of all the videos you have put up, this is one of them. Thanks.
If I knew anything about welding, I'd say that them's some mad welding skillz.
thanks for the excellent explanation on the 4T. Had my TIG 5 years and didn't know the world of possibilities!
I really like that guys sense of humor. Thanks for all information you shared with us!
Great cart build and I thoroughly enjoyed watching you build it. It reminds me I need a new cart design for my everlast welders.
Old Tony, you are certifiably insane. My kind of man. Can't help but love your humor. Keep it up.
I do my fingernails with a grinder, too. Gotta use a chopsaw on my toenails, though. Great vid, Tony, watching you weld and fabricate is a thing of pure beauty.
Your videos are so well produced, I love watching them!
This was great. I really appreciate the dry humor 👍🏻 Very refreshing.
Really like the details; the curved parts add a lot to the cart's looks. Thanks for another great video.
Not sure why but watching TIG welding in particular is very satisfying.
Love the humour that seems to come so naturally with your commentary! Find myself laughing at the subtile jokes. Great stuff! Good concise information. Thanks for sharing!

I don't weld (or machine or anything remotely like that), and have no plans to, but your videos are a pleasure to watch. Thanks for doing what you do.
Your sense of humour kills me. I love it. Keep up the good work!

@14:13 You'll want to grind the zinc off before welding. Personally I just powered through the toxic fumes and sucked it up like a man.
LOL!
Ditto the ER visit.

more heat = greater distortion?
FYI you speak enough for us to learn. That's why we're here!!Right? Thank You.
Good call on the radius, they look great!
Good stuff. Never a dull moment.
😂 that last bit had me in stitches...
Thanks for your videos Tony !
I get so pumped when I see a new ToT video on my feed.
Flam'n great video!
2:40 Three quater of a millimeter? Imperial metric? I am stumped.
Unfortunately you will remain in that state.
Flippah yep, that equates to 0.75mm ;)
