definetly a talented, young group. i think there are some core pieces in there. jaylon, stevenson, dexter, jones, gordon, brisker, even the lbs are young with edmunds and edwards. i would bank on the bears taking a wr or edge depending on how the board falls and adding another elite piece of talent to this d line would really help to build this unit.
I can’t wait to see this defense next year, I’m kinda scared if we hire a new DC, we’ll regress. But our defense has came alive half way through the season. Can’t wait to see them next year!!
I think as long as Flus keeps to his scheme and keeps calling the defense we’ll be okay. things were on the way up when he started play calling, then Montez Sweat came aboard and you know the rest 😂
You already have a defensive-minded head coach, there's no reason for the defense to regress by simply hiring a new DC when the point of doing it should be to bring in a guy who shares similar defensive principles as the head coach
That sweat trade was one of the best trades ever! The bears defense became elite once he got to the bears. Idk why people say we need a defensive tackle. I think Dexter and Pickens are gonna be studs. Do the bears still have justin jones as well or was that a 1 yr deal. I think Walker is gonna have a really good year now that him amd sweat have had time to play together. Just pray they stay healthy.. Also the CB Tyrique Stevenson is also gonna have a great year if he can stay healthy. Alot of teams aren't gonna want to throw towards Johnson so Stevenson is gonna have a good amount of picks/ pass breakups.... bears need to draft all offensive players unless there's a good DE/DB In 3rd round
This really demonstrates the strength of this defense is the back 7. Let’s hope the Bears can generate more pass rush in 24 and Dexter takes a step forward and shows he can be the answer at 3 tech.
Ever since Eberflus started calling the plays the defense was significantly better. I hope he continues to call plays this season cuz he’s a good DC, and the bears got talent all over
The funniest shit ever is Mark Sanchez sir ass fumble himself saying “got him!” like he just saw the most wide open dude only for that pass to get intercepted
I love the Bears and all, but most of the interceptions were against Hoyer (2), O'Connell (1), Howell (1), Gabbert (2), Dobbs (4), Heinicke (3), Ridder (3), which are all backup worthy in the NFL. They intercepted a resurging Flacco (3) and a decent QB in Goff (5), which is promising, but not mind blowing. 10 teams put up 90+ QB rating and 6 of them were 100+. They allowed 23 TD's and just 3 interceptions in those 10 games and allowed 15 TD to 0 interceptions in the 6-100 QB rating games. Against the good QB's last year such as Love, Herbert, Cousins, Wilson, Mahomes, and Murray they didn't intercept a one of them. With the exception of Goff and Flacco, there wasn't anything that tells me this defense is truly as great as the numbers suggest! I'm not a hater, I'm a Bears fan that is trying to prepare for another season in which I don't want to get my hopes up. I just want to watch my Bears this year and only have the same amount of hope as they are good so it becomes a more enjoyable experience as a fan watching games that aren't free anymore if you live outside the local area!
Dude packers always get away with so much and they get so many b.s calls every time theh play the bears and thats not just me being biased. I was watching the game with my gf amd even she was like why does the yellow team keep getting all the calls😂
if you don't have a good run game, the Cover 2 defense is hard to beat.....arguably, the best defensive scheme in the NFL if you have the correct talent to execute it....
The minute they got sweat they are on another level but a couple weeks before that you were starting to see that there were talented defense and I really feel like the bears from about I would say that Detroit game the first one that they should have won from men till the end best defense in the NFL they proved it in the Cleveland game play better than their defense
From a basketball standpoint, I don't think CC is on a different level than Reese, she's the first rookie in WNBA history, to record a double double 8gms in a row, I think they're on the same level basketball wise, but two different positions, and that ROTY race, is going to be neck and neck all year, I'm a Sky fan, but CC is must see TV, nobody has to hate one to love the other.
12 -4 The Bears till they met Philly in the playoffs good old fashion defense game philly philly came out on top beware bears when you meet the champs.
I had a stroke reading this so can you please edit this since I can actually give you the beef and attention that you want since you have nothing better to do

Word on the street is that Flus will stay play caller. Good for us, and he can get an inexperienced DC to teach and grow.

😉
It was a facade
tj edwards is so underated
Overall the glue

As a bears fan who lives in missouri, that chiefs game was brutal to watch.
Yeah
Don’t worry we are the new chiefs noe
@@michaelknabusch6011 hopefully they get the ref bias too so they can succeed fast

The defense Can Play the One thing that stood out to me the most Us that we had two Linebackers with over 100 tackles Plus 2 or more interceptions
Ever since Eberflus started calling the plays the defense was significantly better. I hope he continues to call plays this season cuz he’s a good DC, and the bears got talent all over

This bear defense will be better this year.
Bears force 4 turnovers vs the Vikings and scored 9 points that's why there's a new qb
New oc too
I’m so ready for this season
A dominant group, that TJ Edwards fumble recovery against the Vikings in the first meeting is play of the year for me
Tj edwards and everyone else were absolute dawgs
Our D-line always gets held without any calls against LeFleur’s Packers. I’m sick of it!
Anybody here Aug 2024??
Tyrique Stevenson was everywhere last year. How well will he been in 2024 knowing the defense better
The Bears vs Lions 8:38 the kickoff returner busted his sh!t hard asf u can tell 😂😂😂 or tried playing it off 😂

Flus got the defense playing this year under flus defense will take another step

im look for 90 minute plus highlights out of all sides this next season. Don't even act like special teams isn't about to mess some worlds up.

if next season is no different, im a Seattle Seahawks fan
Weak
Cry more
TJ Edwards 100% recovered that fumble against minnesota. Such a BS call
Defense could have had like, 12 more picks if they didn't drop them.
12 -4 The Bears till they met Philly in the playoffs good old fashion defense game philly philly came out on top beware bears when you meet the champs.
Bears 11-6 or 10-7??? Worst case scenario 9-8
Any highlights at 0-41 is too little too late.
As a bears 🐻 fan , I Concur 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 tru tru !!! Lmfao
Special teams aren't defensive highlights, but what's up with the highlights from games where we are being blown out by terrible teams?

@@America0il69 I don't remember posting this. Must have been drunk but did my best.
@@BValt123 oh ok 😂
Hurts to see defensive highlights when you're showing a Chiefs game that was 41 to nothing in the third quarter
Special teams isn't defensive highlights kid
