    Hi Darla, I just stumbled across your channel and saw this cute top. I’ve been looking for a top to make with some of my yarn I got from the big sale at Hobby Lobby. My only problem is, when I find a cute tutorial, it’s never for the yarn I have. 😞 But the yarn I’m wanting to try this with, is the chenille appeal by let’s get cozy (I think??) I just love the luxurious look and feel of that yarn!! I hope it will work out?? I look forward to seeing what other designs you have! 😊

    Hallo darla what is the multiple i love it

    • @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla
      @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla  3 года назад +1

      I didn't go by a multiple, but it might be 3. The more rows you crochet, the wider you can make it & then you can stop the width and then work on the length, all in one piece. It's best to get a visual on how it works, which you'll see in the video. 💞

    On my “Make list”as well, but what size is this so I know what adjustments to make!

  • @KrissD.

    Darla… ???
    😋
    So if I wanted my top more off the shoulders like u show with the hipster yarn in other video.. and used a sports weight yarn .. what hook size should I use and could I chain more chains at beginning of chain length.. like u did 84 chains here.. could I make more in certain multiples to have it sit off shoulders more? What would be the multiples then? 😁😊
    You think chaining 114 would be too much?

    • @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla
      @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla  3 года назад +1

      Hi Kriss! I just replied to your question under another video. You need to keep the same stitch count, but use a bigger hook than the 2 weight calls for. All you can do is experiment with different hook sizes & see where the chain lands on your shoulders. 💞

    • @KrissD.
      @KrissD. 3 года назад

      @@CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla
      Ya I saw that reply and commented back there.. what though do u mean keep same stitch count?
      Was it though multiples of 3 ? And plus 1 ?
      I’ll try different hooks but do u think doing the 114 chains would be right sounding if is multiples of 3?
      😋
      I’m sorry.. I just haven’t made a garment top yet.. after all years crocheting lol 😂

    • @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla
      @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla  3 года назад +1

      @@KrissD. Sorry Kriss, I should have said chain count. In the tutorial I say to make 6, I think they're called marshmallow stitches, so if you change the chain count the pattern may not work. No worries, Kriss 💞

    So Darla, is this worked in a continuous round, or are you joining each round? It appeared to be continuous, but I wanted to make sure. If it is continuous, how do you end the last row so that it's even with the row before... do you join it to the first stitch of that round to finish off?

    • @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla
      @CraftyYarnOwlwithDarla  3 года назад +1

      Hi Amy! 💞 You can join each round with a slip stitch to keep track of where your rows begin & end. I hope this helps.
