Even as a Final Fantasy fan, the soundtrack and its sound quality of Street Fighter 3 2nd Impact was on another level. Like this is the definition of music that way ahead of its time
@@isoito5927square enix soundtrack is fire, ffx, kh2, ff12, ff9, what he means is that this game soundtrack is on par with these other games soundtracks, me personally i listen to all these for workout
Yep! Always have as well. 2nd Impact's ost is amazing and is easily one of my favorites in the entire series, in fact it's tied with EX Plus Alpha as my favorite with Alpha 2 Gold coming in after that.
I have listened to Elena's theme for many years now and I never noticed the "screams" in the background until now. This uploaded version has a more clear sound than others. The screams are more silent in other uploads of Elena's theme.
Alex's song slaps the hardest by far. **edit** Thanks for putting this up, can't believe I didn't mention that earlier. Was enjoying it too much, haha.
the age old debate of if 2nd or 3rd is better isnt sound, they are meant to be one game essentially. 3rd strike just adds the final bangers 2nd impact didnt add. Ken's theme is in 2nd, but Alex's is in 3rd strike. etc
I remember first hearing Sean's theme and having it stuck in my head for years - long before you could just look up an obscure song on RUclips (idgaf if I sound old, you kids are SPOILED 🤣). Back in the very early aughts, had to go to Japantown, special order the CD from a shop that imported J Pop, wait a month, get a phone call, THEN make the sojourn to the center of the city to retrieve it. When I tell you I listened to that two and a half minute song on repeat for a day straight, that is not hyperbole. Also, listening to that soundtrack while slurping a bowl of ramen from Iroha was the ultimate, joyful weeb experience, before the word existed. Those were the days!
It’s long because her song actually plays twice in the same rotation. if you notice when the song first starts and when you hear it loop again, you hear bass in the background a second time, indicating that the song hasn’t finished looping. Her theme was long in 2I.
@TheOSTLobby wow that's actually kind of insane! I usually listen to this while gaming so I never noticed the bass let alone the changes in bass before. I guess my volume was usually too low for me to even notice it
Will give this a listen. I've listened to the SF3 soundtrack many times but I think it's the 3rd strike one. Only thing that hit with me on that was the Ryu stage
Dudley throughout the series have had banger soundtracks
That is a fact!
Such a underrated ost. This is a must for any collector! Especially Street Fighter fans.👍
ost.😕?
@@andosor6055 Original Soundtrack.
Love 3rd Strike ost, but goodness 2nd Impact is a bop too, and I actually love this
@@andosor6055 Never hear of an OST? Well now you know what it means.
It musical magic!

One of the greatest character select themes in gaming
Absolutely agreed!
it sounds different than normal... not complaining though
@@DRAGONUNKNOWN good job of doing this soundtrack. I love 2nd impact's Jazzy NYC, Good Fighter, and many more
Sound like Sweet trip VDC
That Gill theme gives me goosebumps since the first time I played 2nd Impact
they gotta bring him back for 6
only downside is we know for a fact his theme wouldn't be nearly as good as here or in 5

@duqqtalesFr tho 😂😂😂😂
even as a super paper mario fan this ost is fucking epic bacon

Even as a Snail Bob 2 fan, this soundtrack is 🔥
I honestly like 2nd impacts ost better than 3rd Strike's.
They are both on the Same level for me.
Dude you can't say that :O
Both are GOLD!!!!
I love both, though 2nd impact soundtrack is underrated
Agree, 2nd impact's SFX is more crisp. This version of Jazzy NYC and the stage is much more vivid than the 3rd.

Yangs theme was hitting 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love how shin akuma uses the opening theme, really makes you feel like it's your theme y'know
Love this ost
Street Fighter 3 has some of the best music in the series man
Goes so hard wtf
Hugo got the best theme hands down. That shit is so groovy bruh.
Wow, this soundtrack sounds way clearer than the rest. Thanks for the upload. This sure is a higher quality of sound.
I forgot how excellent Oro's theme is in Second Impact.
1:42:06 Heavy nostalgia feels. Love this ost.
Miss the 90s...
The best fighting game soundtrack ever. Such a vibe.
If it weren't for Capcom vs. SNK 2 I would agree with you, but it's still an excellent soundtrack anyway.

Now that CD must be worth a fortune.

Ken theme is one of my favorite 💯
when i working still listening just for relaxing 😄,
probably Second Impact is among all Street Fighters songs most LIKE IT
Staff roll is baby making music. Change mind.
Magical
This is neat
