When I was at the T-Mobile arena in Vegas on April 1 for her concert there was one sign that says I am alive because of you. I thought that was pretty impactful.
I was at night 2 of MSG. She did cry on stage after Getting Older and the montage of her & Finneas growing up with their parents. She got choked up during the song and stopped singing a few times. After the song was finished, she pulled up a stool and said, "So ya'll just saw me cry...." Then proceeded to have a chat with the crowd. I bought the tickets for my daughter's Sweet 16 and I'm so grateful I was able to experience that with her. We both love Billie's music and after witnessing the beauty of the inner workings of Billie at that concert, this woman will become a legend. I'm sure of it! Between her music, her amazing personality, her class, the sensuality when she puts it to use (and she does during concerts!), and every quirk she possesses, she'll be around a long time at least. I have immense amounts of respect for artists who are all about their fans and the music rather than the money or the fame.
You're right; that cut is perfect. And Billie is so lucky to have light hair that takes dye (and bleach) so easily. My hair is naturally very dark, nearly black. At Billie's age (when I was in college) I didn't know that very, very dark hair usually will not take any extra colors without being bleached first. So when I was 20, away at college & living in an apartment-style dorm, after my experiments with purple Manic Panic resulted in my hair looking exactly the same as before I applied the hair-dye, I tried to die my hair "black cherry" red... but, instead of ending up with the hair-color I'd hoped for, I died my *scalp* "black-cherry"! Meaning, *the skin on my head* was suddenly black with red overtones! And then my scalp (all the skin that started off on my head!) started falling off in huge blackish-red chunks. Eventually all the dyed skin fell off & a few rounds of washing & drying my hair got my hair back to normal ("normal" meaning hair that was even darker than before, with fake-red overtones only visible in the brightest sunshine). It was actually a pretty cool hair-color except for looking fake bc it was really too dark with that super-fake red highlight color (my official hair-color per my drivers license etc was still "dark brown" so that didn't change). The dye turned big parts of the bathtub reddish black (and, to the horror of me & my roomates, I couldn't get rid of the color in that tub no matter how hard I scrubbed). This meant that after dying the tub in black-cherry in September of my Sophomore year of college... the tub was still black-cherry was still there when we moved out the following May. The only good news was we weren't fined for destroying the bathtub because - by coincidence - those dorms were scheduled to be renovated over the summer & since our apartment's bathroom was due to be replaced as soon as we all moved out the people in charge very kindly did not bill us for the damage (though they'd have been well within their rights to have us pay for my having ruined that tub.)
