You can also switch the charm of versatility with the new multi-shot charm for crowd wipes (you wait till the lockons turn red for a higher chance of a headshot), add another charm of fortune to double the chances for Izanagi and other chance based charms and other effects, and opt for a Yuriko's keepsake for a 30% chance to poison (why poison? poison gives a guaranteed at least one enemy gets terror every time it procs)/Swift Return for a 50% chance to recover arrows (doubled due to fortune I and II), and the charm of concentration to boost concentration time. the only thing to remember though is that if you're using a half bow for multi-shot, the fire arrows have somewhat of a higher chance to hit heads, as for longbow, heavy arrows do the job well.
It isn’t chance based. The normal arrows will only lock onto heads without helmets. If there is a helmet it will instead lock onto the chest since this is the most damaging spot.
I gotta story for u...ima try to make it short.....I got this game at launch. Finished it a bunch. Never as an archer, cause I thought they were corny. YOUR video made we Wana try an archer for a new way to play. I tweaked the charms a bit.......but YOUR video showed me that the ARCHER.....is the best Ninja.....which is how I like to play. A silent assassin from the bushes......and a powerful killer in the open. WELL done video, my friend. Ima get a few more weeks of game play out of this game. Thanks to u.
Been playing Archery builds all night tonight and I've come to the conclusion that even with all of these nice new charms, still nothing tops 2x Yuriko's Keepsake 2x Fortune, or Yuriko's, Fortune, Versatile skills. The poison arrows are just too good at 60% chance. I don't know what the chance to Terrify with poison is but it feels like it happens with every poison proc. I can't count the number of times I hit 3 guys with Sugaru's Sight and it poisoned all three and Terrified everyone else, it feels way superior to building around Terrifying Aim. You can even use Terrifying Aim with it at 60% chance if you want - Izanagi, Terrifying Aim, Yuriko's x2, Fortune x2. Or you can sub Terrifying Aim for Sugaru's, or Concentration, or Precision, or anything you want.
@@SamPhamNBA2KTipsandTutorial I haven't really looked too much at duels 😂 lots of people like them but they aren't my favorite. Sarugami Armor seems to make them feel relatively easy though.
@@SamPhamNBA2KTipsandTutorial I think with the charm that increases your window for dodges/parries and the saragumi armor you can use that second slot for versatile skills. I run inari‘s might, silence, resolve 2 and either the one that gives health(vitality?) or resistance 3, the damage reduce. The armor at 5 for maximum effect.
I never used this armor but with this build I couldnt resist and oh my god its a game changer! this game guys. its too damn good there is no end to to replay potential!
Firstly sam thank-you for all your time making these amazing videos i really appreciate it sam thank-you,what an absolutely fantastic build this is It's crazy you have definitely changed my experience as a game player a masterpiece sam wow thank-you
Looks awesome. Curious about your Iki updates for the other armor sets, particularly Sakai or Gosaku. I would think the standard Dual Destruction and Fortune builds would be out since straight out doubling Inari's Might with Variable Skills would probably be preferable and can't be stacked with Dual Destruction. I need to play around with Variable Skills and the Samurai Clan set just to see if it can actually be tanky on Lethal+. Lethal+ did Samurai Clan set dirty and I'm curious if Iki island can rectify that. There's my project for the weekend. Also waiting for your take on Sarugami set. A number of people are just swapping it with the Kensei set for Infinite Resolve, but I think there's something better out there.
I am about to head to new game+ and make a top 10 builds video lol my approach to the new monkey armour is kinda the same with a little bit of a twist. I think you will enjoy it once I post that build Vid.
Coming late but since the game just released on pc the subject is relevant again. This is not how calculations are made in this game. You are not getting terrify effect 100% of the time with this build. Terrify effect makes enemies crawl on ground and run away and you can see the effect trigger only handful of times on this video. Percentage numbers in this game are multiplicative not additive. The build is not bad per se, but the creator of the video is just wrong about couple things or knowingly exaggerating.
Weirdly enough, I just recently got the Charm of Terrifying Aim without completing the bow challenges on Iki. I think I got it right after I tried doing the Raider's Memorial Bow challenge. I didn't get the Gold for it (7sec or less; got the silver one), but I do have the charm right now. I'm not sure if there was an update, or it wasn't a requirement to finish all the challenges. Nevertheless, what a terrfying build. Pun intended lmao
Hmmmm I think I got it about spending 7-8 hours on IKI doing main and side quests. Not too long and a fun grind if anything since you don’t need to do anything specific but complete missions
your charm of terrifying aim is only buffed to 60%. rather than dual destruction + fire doctrine, i'll swap those with charm of fortune II (so you got 2), and charm of concentration. yes, you only have 30% of terrifying enemies every headshots, but i can swap the charm of versatile skills with charm of deer (forgot the complete name) which allows me to headshot 3 heads in 1 time. and to help with locking on the heads, charm of concentrations basically allows me to easily do that.
But everything is doubled from versatile skills, so doesn't double 50% increased likelihood (2x) modify the doubled 30% chance (0,6) come out as 2*0,6 = 1,2 = 120%?

Are yall missing so much you need swift return? If so maybe archery isn’t your thing

For duals tho what you like to run ? Recently I found a pretty efficient dual build for lethal+

Otherwise full stun setup Gosaku.
Versatile skills doesn't work if more than 1 type of charm is equipped. IE 2 poison charms.

Yes I have never see an action rpg with this much build potential
@@SamPhamNBA2KTipsandTutorialcan you make a mongol armor build (don’t use the mongol helm and mask)
This is a sick build, this is by far my favorite you've put up for the Iki island stuff
Sam killing it once again with the best builds out there!!
Thank you ! This one is the one I think I will take on the new game+ P5 version. Could replace the TWO flex charms with Inari and silence lol
I love all of your content. Always friendly and excellent guides. You have helped me immensely. Thank you so much
came up with build almost same as this the other day...arguably the most OP builds possible in my opinion
Firstly sam thank-you for all your time making these amazing videos i really appreciate it sam thank-you,what an absolutely fantastic build this is It's crazy you have definitely changed my experience as a game player a masterpiece sam wow thank-you
It looks like a wizard's build in the Elden Ring.
Funny I made this exact same build two days ago. It is so much fun to play. I use the charm of iron grip instead of the fire one.

Amazing build as always! Are you gonna update your Gosaku build ? That’s my favorite one 😊
Yes I believe so. Been using that for new game plus. Pretty awesome results. Will post build sometime this weekend.
this build is awesome bro, thanks for the tip
THANKS ALOT FOR YOUR HELP AGAIN 😉
Great job again sam
Does it have gyro aiming?
Ty!
Thanks bro
What are u smoking my G💀
This is insane
Can you do a build on the new monkey armor?
This weekend yes. That’s the plan
You just need to complete the challenge to get the charm, you don’t need to get the gold.
I got it after doing just the first challenge
😎 I don't like to terrify them I like to face them
No charm that lets you shoot three arrows? That would be crazy
No need with this build lol 1 is more than enough. 3 arrows looks cool but is an overkill 😂

Where do you get the Charm of versatile?
Raise your legend level in IKI island 👍
To what level is it a long grind!?

Me when my friend say I can't aim in Ghost øf Tsushima
Kinda op
This one definitely is. I say is perfect for new game+
This is going to be patched. It's too good.
Check out my archer build I made a video about it

@@nollhypotes bruh 30% chance is 0,3 not 0,6
wait, i get what you mean. yeah my bad, wrong calculation on that part
Sarugami armor build what? Trash...
This is the most superior build
Monkey armour can have an optimal build but nothing like this. Is fun but yes this broken arrow build is the OP one lol
