I thrift all the time now that I live in a larger city, and a LOT of my clothes have come from thrifting over the past 3 years or so. It’s fun looking for a bargain, and a little thrill finding something good. I found a beautiful Banana Republic wrap dress that does wonders for my figure (similar height & size to you, but a bit more of a belly) for 6$! Yes, please.
Yes, that's another one. I admired them too. I'm trying to think if there's anything on currently that is clothes inspiring but not sure there is. Let me know if you know of one.
I love Pinterest for fashion purposes! However, taking fashion ideas from women i see in real life and on the screen are great as well!! Thank you for your content!! Where I live, West coast of Canada, flip flops, Birkin stocks, trainers, are all practical/stylish, and worn by all ages!
Everyone is different. So I get what might look good on you may not look good on me. Very nice. I'm just like to throw things on. I do like belts. I have a tummy since I've gone thru menopause. Great video.I so enjoyed watching. Thank you.
I like that period (the generous sizing and chunky clothes - I'm usually cold). The longer length, too. But I will probably dress the way people around me, dress (urban casual). I'm basing this on how she looked: I don't know the extra you liked).
What season are you? The analyst I used worked on skin tone primarily - I'm a warm skin tone and that doesn't change apparently. She then looked at hair and eye colour.
I think that the Marks and Spencer 'The Edit' range is fantastic for 'on-trend' items that aren't too trendy, but have a modern twist yet are age appropriate. I still thought that your hair looked nice at the start of the video! I think Jane Fonda as Grace in 'Grace and Frankie' looked fabulous in most of her outfits.
I am an older woman who dresses for "me". I don't follow fashion trends or advice. I wear what makes me look and feel amazing. I don't worry about what others think of my style.
I always wonder if people ever get their colours done and hate their recommended colours? I personally dont like 'muddy' colours and I absolutely hate what I call 'sludgey' colours - khaki, olive, mustard etc. Even if somebody told me that they really suited me I would never wear them. I just wonder if this ever happens to anyone.

Perfect.
I do like fashion, but have a hard time, affording it.
This is a good idea.
And it's a low-risk way, to try things out. 👗
I loved the clothes in Magpie Murders. Lesley Manville looked fantastic in every scene.
So did I. I've been trying to find out where they're from, but no luck so far.

Absolutely! It’s all about finding inspiration and making it work for you. 😊 Adding in a good amount classic staples is also key! 🌻

Going to watch this - this afternoon to get ideas for "our video collab" 😃 - sent you an email yesterday to see about scheduling a Zoom on Monday...!
Seriously though, your advice is excellent- has really made me think… I’m enjoying ‘trying again’ if you get my drift!😳🥰

Before Pinterest I made a mental image of a woman walking past Bridget Jones in a scene….an extra…I have based many outfits on her look.
I like that period (the generous sizing and chunky clothes - I'm usually cold).

Hi Anne, you have given me confidence in my choices and outfit ideas many times. Thanks! ❤
Great video! Thank you for connecting to your viewers, and making suggestions that are doable! ❤️👍🏼👏🏼❤️

My sister loves Vera’s style. Oh dear!

My hair had it's moments. I've gone through old photos and gracious, bangs and perms and short hair are not my friends! 😅😂
I'm laughing about matching necklaces with dresses once mentioned😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you.

I generally know how much time I need between hair appointments and book my next appointment while I am at the salon.
I used to do that and it went to pot last year when i had hair loss. I need to get back into that habit.
Wow, we love you.
Thank you so much 💓
