I agree with everything you are saying but one of the joys of being older is that I can wear whatever I want and I don't care what anyone thinks about it. I had a long run of being noticed and admired and I am just too glad to pass the torch to someone younger.

Thank you. I felt I needed this as I use to follow fashion extremely closely when I was younger. At 53, I have drifted away but still want to look current. I did stop the cold shoulder blouse 1.5 years ago. I had a seamstress sew up the holes in one blouse as I truly loved it and did not want it to give it up. Ignore the comments from people who say we can all wear what we want. I have no idea why these people bother commenting if they are not interested? Some people in 9 lifetimes will never be interested in fashion but others are. I would never waste time watching videos about something I have no interest in.
I live in a hot climate where we wear sandals a lot of the year. I rarely see anyone of any age with matching polish on toes and fingers. I never have done matchy-matchy with anything in fashion. Nice to know I'm (finally) in style! I'm 74. 😊
I disagree that cardigans restrict your movement. They will always be stylish if they fit properly. I don't buy trends. I buy classic and modern clothing. Trends change and get left behind in your closet. Matching my lipstick with my outfit? I always ask myself, "What would Audrey Hepburn do?"
Another item from that era that ppl are wearing again is flannel check shirts. This 60yo recently bought one (Costco) and it's so easy to wear and comfortable, - unbuttoned, over a fitting t-shirt and jeans, esp with a classy pair of leather sneakers. Love cardigans, and shaped fine cashmere cardigans do not age you. Loose thick cardigans up to the neck in cable knit - so aging. As for lipstick - you do need a lipstick that matches your skin tone, as if your undertone is yellow and you wear fushia it will look shocking as the undertone of fushia is blue.
You make a great point about colors. I had my colors done in my 30s and I was an autumn. All those earth colors looked great until I let my hair be grey. I came upon "Jill Kirsh Color" and she does colors based on what type of grey you are. Finally I am wearing royal blue and pinks, and I get a lot of compliments.....
Thanks so much! Lots of food for thought. Most of these apply to everyone. There are good eye makeup tutorials about eyeliner with restraint not going corner to corner for a softer flattering effect.
Talking about brows i did get microblading done on me 3 times and the therapist who was extremely skilled said my brows bleed heavily so much so most of the pigment is washed out the effect of the microblading only lasted about 6 mths she thought i was on blood thinners but im not on any meds of any sort. Anyhow the microblading process is extremly painful and i had swelling of the brows for a few days afterwards. I wouldnt bother getting it done again.
Pink lip shades ..... For a long time, I got stuck thinking pink meant Barbie pink. Your color analysis reminds me that there are also warm pinks that I can wear.
I think the T shirt dresses you showed looked better than your recommendations… capris look good with high heels. Mostly what makes one look old is not being in shape.
Any clothes that are loose, oversized, not of quality construction will age you. If you still have a waistline and slim hips at 75 wear well fitted clothes, be proud of your body. Skip the bling cutouts, too much skin.....they age anyone over 30.
I prefer to not worry if I look old. I do like to look good, because then I feel good. When I feel good, others (and I) tend to view myself as relevant and of value. A 50+ woman can simply look good -- not "good for her age”. 😊
I agree. Our skin and eyes lighten to match our greying hair. Im surprised though that no one hsd said my grey hair looks old. Ive had that comment before a few times. Its positive that that has not been said 🙂
Just an update! BIG hair is coming back in!!! (Paris SPRING Fashion 2024) As I have curly hair and am SICK of the GHD super straight stuff...I'm over the moon! I am 73 and will ROCK it till the cows come home!! Very few older women can wear long hair, very few. A good haircut is worth a million bucks! I'm an old Sassoon trained hairdresser and make up artist so always looking for 'the latest' everything. Really love your vlog/blog. Inspiring! From OZ with love. xxx
2020 that was of course. so many commentors told me to get it cut at the time, when I could. I began to believe them. I think perhaps it depended on the day, the photo, the day of my hair wash cycle :)
I agree, I am 69 and never worn either, look ugly to me! I still dye hair, would hate to look grey, although thats a personal thing, it is much lighter and a bit less warm. I don't see myself as older (although suppose I must be, by most peoples reckoning), still so interested in fashion and design. I trained as a textile designer and still freelance working as well as teaching it at an art college to undergrads. I am also lucky in being tall, which got bullied over when young, now it helps, as does having a waist two sizes smaller than hips and bust, although a devil to find dresses that fit usually, thank goodness for the long, waffty ones that have been around for the last couple of years, with drawstring waists, I small miss those, as going out apparently! Being 50 or over is nothing today, we are so young compared to previous generations, when ladies retired at 60 and were probably dead at 80; come on, we are still young and vital, just don't think old and chances are, you won't be. My dad was still working in his eighties, through choice and lived to be over 100!
Another thing that is aging should be neck lines of tops. Round neck of a certain length is aging. I think that says more old fashioned than anything else. Jewelry chunky or small I think is also dependent on the style, and occasion of clothing. Cardigans are classic and wearing them as a top tucked partially into a waist band is very current. Lipsticks colours are more to do with the outfit and your makeup (heavy or light), again not necessarily aging. Current fashion on an older person is more to do with styling and confidence. And of course classic is never out of fashion or aging.
If you come to Italy on holiday, wear linen linen linen. I am 70, retired to Sicily, and in the summer months can only bear loose linen shorts and shirts. I know they are a pain to iron, but they breathe. Of course you could wear a skirt.or dress (not an option for me on a bike). But please don't treat ancient cities like Siracusa as a beach resort. Seeing tourists wrapped in a sarong, or in shorts and a bikini top, wandering around the streets and shops not only hurts the eye but is against local ordinances
@lisahagan3136 have you tried linen blends. I know it's better to wear 100% natural fibres, but I'm petite and linen often looks stiff and bulky on me. But linen polyester (or if you can find it - linen/rayon) blends are softer, thinner and more flowing. Plus less wrinkles!
Great that you say you want to look "as pretty as possible". It is possible to succeed in looking a little younger at the expense of your own attractiveness. For example, our 40-year-old aunt got pressured into dyeing her hair back to its original dark brown. Did she look younger? I admit that she did--but the gray had been more flattering and I hadn't noticed the roughness of her skin (old acne scars) before she did it. She did look significantly younger, but coarser, and not as pretty! Those are two different things. Some of this comes down to good taste. (By the way, she later ditched the dye.)
Eyeliner: I read several years ago that eyeliner on the lower part of the eye should not extend past halfway. Doing it that way makes your eye appear larger. So I followed that. I find I don't wear eyeliner at all quite often unless I want to maybe kick it up a notch. I grew my fine hair out during the pandemic and I am getting it cut this week. Something around your length.
I like wearing shorts, relatively short skirts, and modern tops. If you wear a tee shirt dress, for heaven’s sake, wear a belt, it’s very flattering! I don’t often wear underwear, it’s unflattering. Many of my skirts have built in shorts! I love them. You looked younger with your longer hair. It wasn’t too long. Add some highlights to your grey hair. It would look smashing, and lovely.
I recently started using a light brown eye pencil and it's just so much better (for me). I tried to use my old dark brown eyeliner the other day and it looked so insanely dark, I had to smudge most of it off. And black is even worse for me--I've never been able to wear black eyeliner. If it looks like Halloween makeup or a Halloween costume, it's a no.
Always great advice, but I’m not sure I agree on the nails. Well, not for everyone at least. My hands are quite large and the square look makes them look even more like spades 😂 but I do think they should be on the shorter side!
You are the best. You make me sit up and pay attention to my appearance without making me feel like a complete fashion mistake. Love your advice and self depreciating sense of humour. Thank you.
Thank you for this video I have watched several of your videos this afternoon and have subscribed! We are of like mind about style and ageing. Regarding "colors" - I was a "winter" until my hair went gray, my skin became pastier, and my hazel eyes leaned more brown than green. I recently decided the gray was not working anymore and my hair stylist gave me the gift of "ginger". I love it! I can wear browns, some shades of yellow, and a more diverse pallet of tones than before. Best of all, my hazel eyes are now more green and no longer disappear into my face. Embracing the changes we cannot stop as we age and making the most of them is liberating! BTW, I am 64.
Wear what suits you best and makes you feel good, eschew trends over personal style, be comfortable in your skin and embrace the positives of your current age.
An easy way to update the look: ditch capris, get a-line skirts instead. Wear either statement necklace or statement earrings but never both. Either bold eye make up or bold lip color, not both. Never ever ever wear overly styled hair, please just stop
Appreciate your reminders and suggestions, however…I do think we need to be mindful of our personal style, lifestyle, and (yes), comfort. I enjoy your videos, and think they offer good touch points to consider…but, the days of “rules” with fashion are no longer valid or needed…I wholeheartedly agree with looking around, and wearing things that keep us current with those around us…😊 (Travel is especially a time to “fit in” with our fellow humans, for safety reasons)…
We can all wear whatever we like and it really doesn't matter what other people think. Fashion is just a marketing tool, targeting consumers, and they've hooked thinkers like you. Just be yourself and stop worrying, and save the planet while you're at it. It's time we all had a very different mind set.
I can see your point - some styles & colors are classic. I can look like a young 65 or a frumpy 65 & sometimes it takes my daughter's eye to say Mom! Don't wear those they look OLD. However I refuse to be a slave to "fashion" in general.
Diane Keaton had skin cancer when she was young. That's why she developed a unique and sensational wardrobe that is the "Diane Keaton" look. Good for her.
If you've seen older women from sunny climes - many with terrible "turkey neck" - you will understand why so many cover their neck and décolletage. You're from England so can more easily preserve your beautiful porcelain skin.
I think NOT following trends means you’re non conformist and don’t have to run with the herd, you can wear anything with style and be the individual that you are!
Nonconformity is an act sometimes of just wanting to appear above the throng. I've always liked dressing well, for my self. I'm not seeking compliments. I just like a good appropriate outfit. I notice other people who put themselves together. I see people who obviously don't put effort into their look, I figure it doesn't bring them any personal joy.
One hard thing about being short and some of the other things that go with it is that it seems like 80% of the suggestions to help not look short and stubby is a sweater or a jacket. And that’s not just for the cooler weather. That’s suggestions for the spring and summer. That’s not gonna happen for me in Oklahoma. That is not an option at all.
I've never found a pair of jeans that didn't make me look two sizes bigger. I love my tailored trousers in straight leg or bootcut. I like classic navy and off white with an injection of a third colour to stop making it look like a uniform.
I don’t know, I think that cold shoulder top you pictured is still more recent than the sequined top under a leather jacket. To me, sequins and leather scream “I’m trying to look young!” You are spot on about oversized, cheap clothes though. I don’t have a waist anymore so I don’t know how to look good in fitted clothing necessarily, but I will steer clear of things like that.
Oh goodness, the embellished top under the jacket was an example of not to wear. That was a 10 years ago look. 😳 very dated and aging. Don't copy that !!!
Oh dear, I just bought a t shirt dress 😂. Admittedly it's to wear at home, if summer ever gets here! Eye liner..hmmm I have no bottom eyelashes and need a little liner to define my eyes. I don't go heavy as I did in my teens. Thank you for the video.
I think cardigans are the most difficult thing to get right. My general rule is short buttoned up cardis with looser trousers/skirts and long open cardis with jeans/leggins. But even then i have looked at my outfit and gone...nope, just nope!
last summer was so hot I took to wearing a vintage tshirt fabric small print floral sleeveless nightie for daywear but I would put a gold chain belt around my waist & pearl necklace & current platform sandals
I’ve never even thought of matching nails to toes. I’ve always liked seeing lipstick matched to clothing, but maybe just the same tone is better. That video ended very suddenly!😂
Oh you are so right about needing to recheck our colors! I got mine done over 30 years ago and was a Winter. Lately I've found myself more able to wear peachier tones and even some aqua, both of which I adore but never used to look good on me... and now I find some shades look good on me, most likely due to my hair getting lighter and more reddish. It's fun being able to experiment with new colors a bit! P.S. I can still sometimes get away with the barbie pink that used to be so flattering on me, but it's getting harder. I say enjoy the trend now if you can! That sweet barbie pink is everywhere!
I am 75 and have always been stylish. However....now I have a middle.....I look fine from the front but from the side it is 😮a totally different story.....very depressing...but at this age and divorced at 69 after 46 years...I am living for me and the things I want to do...and mostly the things I want to eat...albeit I eat a well balanced healthy diet..... 😢I look like my mother did at this age. I look fine with a waist from the front but I can't abide the Look from the side. Do I 'just get over it'???? I just got some short sweaters and vests to wear with dresses to give an illusion ........ I have dieted ALL MY LIFE and I am not going to spend my last years anguishing whether to eat something or not. My life has gotten much shorter....all of a sudden. I still want to look nice and put together but people like you assume we are all in shape and thin...we are not....and I refuse to wear clothes that show the rolls!
Height in hair on top depends on your face shape. Length also depends on face shape. Clothes….I can guarantee yr vitality has more to do with how people see you what age you are perceived as being than your clothes in aging you. Keep up to date on the world and have an authentic opinion. Nothing ages you more than hatred bigotry and sheer lack of data about things in general. If the amount of time you spend thinking about how your clothes make you look exceeds the amount of time you spend thinking about other things, you are old in the not interesting way.
I like the idea of wearing a polo neck with the lady jackets...I've just purchased an off white and black ones in Merano wool from M and S....never date....Jane North Wales 😀
If you like your long sky blue cardigan, wear it. Now, not later. These "tips" are merely suggestions, not hard and fast rules that came down from on high. Wear what looks and makes you feel good, even if its not particularly trendy.
I am what some call a classic dresser which I think is dateless. To only wear what is on trend is running with the sheep. And not necessarily youthful.
It's interesting to see another person in various outfits (bc it's hard to be objective about ourselves). My example, I had a professor who used to wear these long, shapeless "pilgrim" dresses to class, with clogs. One night I saw her out at a bar and she was wearing jeans, and I thought, "Well, you're actually quite slim after all! It's just those hideous dresses that make you look old."
If you love your pretty cold shoulder blouse, why not wear it ? Why must we be a victim of trends? I think the blouse was pretty on you. 😊 I’m a senior citizen but it’s my youthful attitude that surprises people that I’m older than I look. I’m stylish not trendy.
Slim jeans - if they make u look slim and you wear the right things with them - are now classic. Yes, too tight skinny jeans We shouldn’t have been wearing in the first place
I really enjoyed your video. I have purchased so many lipsticks that I just stopped the craziness! I use the brand Clinique dramatically different lipstick in a strawberry color. I wear it year round and it just suits me. I have salt and pepper hair and pale skin and it really brightens my face. No more “ rules” for me. I’m 69 , so I have pretty much figured it out. Thanks again😁
Everything is in the eye of the beholder it would seem. I’m looking at your appearance now and it looks a bit dated to me. Your yellow outfit while not being correct colour, looks young and playful. Your hair at a longer length took years off you! I’m 72 years young and have only just started wearing leggings (both skinny and flared) but in a thicker forgiving material, so I hope you’re not right about those :). And my neck I have to cover as I have Spondylitis which means wearing a neck brace to ease the pain when out. (Covered by silk scarf). So I hope I don’t look too odd. At the end of the day I just hope that concentrating on the right or wrong thing to wear is not going to rob us of our identity and ability to be happy.
Americans think looking young means having white teeth. We think stained yellowing teeth are very aging. Also, wearing sleeveless dresses show your age by exposing flabby arms.
That’s ridiculous about not matching your lipstick, in my opinion if you’re wearing a pink dress or top wear a pink lipstick! On the subject of eyebrows, they are a bit overdone these days!
I always feel that you want to look really nice without looking like you worked at it. Some overdone nails and makeup absolutely horrify me. Rule of thumb, only have one star in your outfit, everything else are just supporting actors. Fluffy short hair is very youthful. Have the confidence to let your hair go natural, when I colored it that skunk line in the part was aging.
No one under 40 would notice what we wear, and anyone over couldn't care less about each other. If a friend looks nice in what she is wearing and suits her I tell her. It might not be "in fashion". Sorry don't agree with your ideas at all
The great thing is, you don’t have to agree. 😊. I teach in a high school. I like to know what is current. Students may not notice what I’m wearing, but they will respond on a subliminal level to my overall impression.
My aging-look fashion metric is: “Would Doris (my 👹 mother-in-law) wear this?” If the answer is yes, then it’s a definite NO for me and my closet! She was a fry-permed, micro-color-coordinated, polyester knit, cruise-wear-look, cheap catalog-apparel, wear crochet anything, horrid print junkie right down to the actual threads. I believe she never owned a natural fiber or wore a muted color in her life! 😉
Haha I have a relative like that, and also an unfortunate tendency to also gravitate toward that style of clothing (maybe a family thing? 🤣). Anyway I ask my husband for his opinion, and if he says, it looks like something so-and-so would wear... Well then I know it's probably not a good choice for me! 🤣🤣🤣

Love your sensible advice!
I agree with everything you are saying but one of the joys of being older is that I can wear whatever I want and I don't care what anyone thinks about it. I had a long run of being noticed and admired and I am just too glad to pass the torch to someone younger.
I doubt your age has anything to do with looking like a slob
That's pretty much how I feel. I had my day and I'm happy with that. Now I mainly want to look neat, clean, and like I still have all of my marbles.
I totally agree. I don't worry about looking old because I am officially old.
What a strange logic!?!
I absolutely agree! I’m over 60 and I will wear what looks good on me:) I’m happy to pass the torch to the younger ladies:)
I am an older home sewer and I buy things like the gatherd tent dresses and take them in on th sides and cut them off and turn them into a blouse/tunic!..makes a huge difference. I also reuse cloth from baggy garments to make blouses, skirts and cropped pants!
Great idea!!
Love the reuse. I detest throwaway fashion.

I never thought the cold-shoulder blouses looked good, even when they were trending! It always looked to me like the blouse was ripped.
And they are ugly and tacky on anyone 😊
I agree. I always thought it looked stupid.
I love my t-shirt dresses . The key is to get the proper fit not too big and not skin tight . Not overly big , not super tight . My gold jewelry to make it nice , I love my Red lipsticks because I’m white grey hair .
And get a quality fabric with a bit of thickness.
There are nice linen short & top sets current for 2023 can I suggest that
I live in a hot climate where we wear sandals a lot of the year. I rarely see anyone of any age with matching polish on toes and fingers. I never have done matchy-matchy with anything in fashion. Nice to know I'm (finally) in style! I'm 74. 😊

Cardigans don’t restrict movement, jackets do. I said cardigans are practical as they don’t restrict movement 😀
The one you modelled is "grunge" style, from Seattle in the early 90s. And yes it's back. Practical, warm in a cold climate, and comfortable.

As for lipstick - you do need a lipstick that matches your skin tone, as if your undertone is yellow and you wear fushia it will look shocking as the undertone of fushia is blue.
I cAnt imagine cardigans being out of style. Especially oversized grandpa ones.
Amen to ditching leggings and skinny jeans❤

I think there are lots of on trend cardigans around, which is great since blazers are almost impossible to wear if you have broad shoulders!
As a modern-classic style loving 70 something I SO appreciate your advice and guidance,
Pink lip shades ..... For a long time, I got stuck thinking pink meant Barbie pink. Your color analysis reminds me that there are also warm pinks that I can wear.

Knit blazers are great. They are comfortable but polished.
Yes they are and they are trending this autumn too
Just an update! BIG hair is coming back in!!! (Paris SPRING Fashion 2024) As I have curly hair and am SICK of the GHD super straight stuff...I'm over the moon! I'm an old Sassoon trained hairdresser and make up artist so always looking for 'the latest' everything. Really love your vlog/blog. Inspiring! From OZ with love. xxx
You looked great with longer hair! I think you looked much younger, and your hair & the color were very pretty.
2020 that was of course. so many commentors told me to get it cut at the time, when I could. I began to believe them. I think perhaps it depended on the day, the photo, the day of my hair wash cycle :)
I agree 100%. I have never worn leggings or tunic tops or Capri pants. I can’t stand them.😊🇺🇸I am 68
As long as you are happy and healthy. You should not be concerned about trends.
I was in linen yesterday. Its so muggy here at the moment 😀
Linen makes me look huge 😳 and seems to “ spread” I have never found it works for me 😳 or found it comfortable but hey ho / each to their own 😂
@lisahagan3136 have you tried linen blends.
Yes im much prefering my light brown. The Sephora 24 hr the brown that i listed is my go to for under eyes now.
Always great advice, but I’m not sure I agree on the nails. Well, not for everyone at least. My hands are quite large and the square look makes them look even more like spades 😂 but I do think they should be on the shorter side!
Thank you
You are the best. You make me sit up and pay attention to my appearance without making me feel like a complete fashion mistake. Love your advice and self depreciating sense of humour. Thank you.
Your hair actually looked lovely long ❤
I think her current haircut is adorable, tho, and flatters the shape of her face!
Good one! Thanks for doing the work for us. BTW you could've been an Autumn back. Our skin tone changes as we age.
Long hair on me is great . Always in fashion
An easy way to update the look: ditch capris, get a-line skirts instead. Wear either statement necklace or statement earrings but never both. Either bold eye make up or bold lip color, not both. Never ever ever wear overly styled hair, please just stop
Love this "Dress currently NOT ridiculously"❤❤❤Enjoy your vids! Love how your wearing your hair!
And you're here just to complain?
I can see your point - some styles & colors are classic. I can look like a young 65 or a frumpy 65 & sometimes it takes my daughter's eye to say Mom! Don't wear those they look OLD. However I refuse to be a slave to "fashion" in general.
Well said!👏👏👏
Well said @user-ow2gv4cj3r
Absolutely agree!
Your long hair looked good on you!
Oh my I don’t know if it was the length or the color but you looked beautiful ! ( you do now also 😊)
Diane Keaton had skin cancer when she was young. That's why she developed a unique and sensational wardrobe that is the "Diane Keaton" look. Good for her.
Ah, i didn't know that. I had it too so am careful about my factor 50
So many good tips! I recently had my hair cut shorter and got so many compliments I wish I had done it sooner!😊
It does seem to make us look younger
I've never found a pair of jeans that didn't make me look two sizes bigger. I love my tailored trousers in straight leg or bootcut. I like classic navy and off white with an injection of a third colour to stop making it look like a uniform.
This is a great review to keep us mindful
Glad you think so. Thank you so much
Haha! This was right on; my daily uniform is a tee shirt or denim dress with capris leggings to cover my bottom. I'm 68 and a confessed frumpy granny.
@@Myover50fashionlife Oh, ok! Sorry for the mistake! That makes a lot more sense 😂
Wear a belt
Spot on about the dresses!
I love Dianne Keaton’ s style.
Find a nice belt to put around that dress
What are shiny tights?
I believe they are nylons/pantyhose that are in a nude shade but with a visible sheen in the thread.
I think cardigans are the most difficult thing to get right. My general rule is short buttoned up cardis with looser trousers/skirts and long open cardis with jeans/leggins. But even then i have looked at my outfit and gone...nope, just nope!
Try a different color or a belt!
I'm a Licensed Optician and totally agree with current eyewear
Great tips !
last summer was so hot I took to wearing a vintage tshirt fabric small print floral sleeveless nightie for daywear but I would put a gold chain belt around my waist & pearl necklace & current platform sandals
And our lips get thinner with age and the darker lipsticks look liks slashes... way too harsh
Excellent advice... I decided to get rid of my over-sized t-shirt house dresses, I felt they made me look horrible when wearing them.
I’ve never even thought of matching nails to toes. I’ve always liked seeing lipstick matched to clothing, but maybe just the same tone is better.
That video ended very suddenly!😂
Nail polish is not classy. Just don't wear it.
Ending suddenly will help audience retention 😀
Thanks for good example and advice ❤❤
Oh you are so right about needing to recheck our colors! I got mine done over 30 years ago and was a Winter. Lately I've found myself more able to wear peachier tones and even some aqua, both of which I adore but never used to look good on me... and now I find some shades look good on me, most likely due to my hair getting lighter and more reddish. It's fun being able to experiment with new colors a bit! P.S. I can still sometimes get away with the barbie pink that used to be so flattering on me, but it's getting harder. I say enjoy the trend now if you can! That sweet barbie pink is everywhere!
Without belly fat we would all look a lot better and our health would improve. Any age.
Wear a shaper.
#tights: here in France we are seeing quite some black sheer ones (not today, but when weather permits ;-)
I've got a long sky blue cardigan I got last year in villa should I throw it out now?
Keep it for home and for when that trend returns
My community is a rural midwestern farming town, so I don't see cardigans going away. So, it depends on your community; what are other women wearing?
Great video. Thank you....
Thank you too!
T-shirt dresses only work if you are a T-shape anyway - they're the worst for pear and hourglass body shapes
The rule for style is 20% trends and 80% classic
No jersey ! They cling
I have never liked cord necklaces.
If you love your pretty cold shoulder blouse, why not wear it ? Why must we be a victim of trends? I think the blouse was pretty on you. 😊 I’m a senior citizen but it’s my youthful attitude that surprises people that I’m older than I look. I’m stylish not trendy.
I'm new here. I'm Patricia from Rhode Island.
Welcome Patricia
Lol, I am 61 and still feel young, men like us right.🤣🤣tent dresses, capris, shiny tights🤣printed ones not good never liked them
You are good stylist👍
l feel that very short sleeves or sleeveless tops dont do us mature ladys any favours whatsoever. OLD ARMS are not attractive
But sleeveless tops are fantastic for a base layer. My blazer or short cardigan works well over a sleeveless top and I’m not overheating. 😊
I disagree about cardigans. A neutral cardigan that is short or long is on trend and classic when worn with dark boot cut jeans and boots
Yes I did point out modern cardigans are great and I disagree too. I listed some to buy currently in the description box .
People need to clean their teeth period!
That’s ridiculous about not matching your lipstick, in my opinion if you’re wearing a pink dress or top wear a pink lipstick!
On the subject of eyebrows, they are a bit overdone these days!
Most eyebrows look fake to me these days
So many women AND young girls believe that they should wear white underwear with white pants... It's like a neon sign under their shorts or slacks.
Here you are wearing a variety of colour seasons but do you observe the correct colours for you skin or disregard that?
I need to show and wear all colours for my audience but I generally say I know this isnt my colour.
im off to charity shop with me tshirt dresses lol x
Ah …me too . I absolutely love my well fitted t-shirt dresses…
I read that dianne Keaton covers up completely because she had skin cancer. That’s just what I read. Not necessarily correct.
Yes apparently. I didn't know that was the reason. I had it so am careful too.
Wear what your feel comfortable in. WHO cares if its the 'in' thing or not!.
Hey, long hair is ok for all. Just take good care of it. Old age home hairstyles - out!
thank you
No one under 40 would notice what we wear, and anyone over couldn't care less about each other.
Oh that's great 😀
HA! LOL :)!
lol
Haha I have a relative like that, and also an unfortunate tendency to also gravitate toward that style of clothing (maybe a family thing? 🤣). Anyway I ask my husband for his opinion, and if he says, it looks like something so-and-so would wear... Well then I know it's probably not a good choice for me! 🤣🤣🤣
I like that😂
Leonora Smee has lovely rounded nails…according to Salon Life ..shape is based on what works for you finger …
