I have just found this video, and 28 seconds in, I had to Subscribe! Love your energy and Vibes Brotther! P.S - I scrolled to the en just to take a peek at the colour, and back to the beginning.
lol, i did the same flake first layer like you, it gives a bit of a rainbow effect to the body. i went for a candy blue look mixed with floe yellow where you have the black area on the sides. one thing that you mentioned and i have to agree is: this body eats paint cans like no tomorrow :D nice job sir!
Wow I didn't know that about the paint. Great information on that bro. I'm gonna get a proline body C10 long cab I guess il use the same stuff your using.

Hello friend ! Beautiful car, it makes me really crazy to see this car of yours, I'm new to car modeling, I've already built my first 1/10 electric car with the brand xpress, bought on the Rcmart website and the only website that delivers here in my country, "Brazil"! What model of your chassis where can I find it to buy? Can you tell me brands, nothing for professional use but recreational, for use in parking lots, which brand do you recommend for onroad electric cars?
Not sure what you mean, I was sanding the edges so it wont be rough after cutting the body. If you believe there is a better way please share so I dont mislead anyone in doing anything incorrect or inefficient.
Please watch the vid in its entirety so you can see where I painted the inside with a few coats of the blue then backed it with black. I've even explained this in my introduction.
Incredible there's a mix up here you just painted the outside with the plastic on it then you peel it off and it doesn't have any paint then you paint the inside bro I've never seen it like this in over 32 years this video had to be edited you do not paint the outside and if you do you take the plastic off first and why are you masking the headlights and the tail lights if you're putting on the stickers out of let it clear or blacked it out
Naww, look again, I painted the inside. The body is clear and you paint inside then peel off the protective film. This film is to protect from over spray. If you wish to layer a matte finish or maybe a black hood then you peel off the film and spray the area. I masked off the headlights and tail lights with the intention of getting light buckets. This makes the body have a bit more realistic look. Yes the video is edited to show the interesting parts otherwise you would see a looong boring 5 hour video, so not sure what you mean about it being "edited". Whoaaaa!!! You been doing this for 32 years?!?!?! Please share your wisdom, I'm also here to learn and share where I can.
Okay something's wrong here you sprayed the outside now you're taking off the plastic and it doesn't have paint on it what's going on here I saw you spray the outside now you peel off the plastic and there's no paint on it
No boss you spray the inside, because the outside of the body has the clear plastic shield. Under this is the shiny plastic that looks like a clear coat of a car.
I've painted 100s of bodies over the last 30 years. I've just used the curved hobby scissors to cut out the entire thing. I'm not sure what I'm watching here.
@@GregSupe it looks great!!! Your just making it harder than it needs to be. Cut the whole thing out with those curved hobby scissors then clean up the edges with a hobby blade. I also use the sanding pads to cherry out the edges. I wasn't trying to be a dick.
@@charlescrawford6157 LOL all good man. I'm a full noob compared to you so. Im definitely all ears when it comes to improvement. The next body I'll use just the scissors and see if I can get it done faster and better quality. Thanks for watching!
@@GregSupe I'd share some pictures with you, but I'm to old for that social media nonsense. Good luck. Enjoy the hobby. P.S. That little profile pic is an Infraction
This really helped me know how to do my new body thanks for showing the process
Glad the vid helped you out. 👍🏾
That's a very nice RC body. 👌
Thanks man, definately doesnt look that good anymore 😬
Great video. You're a fantastic teacher, my brother. This, of course, is something that CANNOT he said of many RUclips presenters.
I appreciate the kind words. Get tons of practice helping my kids with hw LOL 😆.

Glad it was useful. If you are going to get one of those larger scale bodies make sure you get enough paint. They take ALOT! Happy painting my friend.
beautiful painting, good job!!! do you remember the blue ink code, PS-30?
Yea man, it's PS-3 the amazon link to it is in the description below the video.
@@GregSupe ok thank you, the PS3 is a little lighter than the PS30, it looks pretty good.
@@MSDModelismo Yes the Ps-30 is what I used on my Subaru build, its much darker. ruclips.net/video/RL2JzpgYaaA/видео.html
Daym bro that looks good, do you think its the same exact size as the X01? Or is the X01 a bit bigger? Both with bodies on
Thanks much bro 👊🏾Not sure, look up the dimensions of both. probably the wheelbase is the same
Wing most definitely 🔥💪🏽
I've been digging the wing. The black kinda sets it off.

This one is the Arrma Felony.
Did you have to use 2 cans of blue for this? I'm painting my Limitless and was wondering how many cans it would take.
Yea i used 2 full cans. Limitless will probably be a can and a half
@@GregSupe thank you!

Tamiya PS-3 Light Blue Spray Paint, its in the description along with the link to Amazon page. 😉✌🏾
I want a new infraction body the utes got aero like a brick
Man take your pick, there are so many options. What you going for just bashing around or speed running?
More drifting but its cool to speed run (show off) but dam 60 bucks a tyre n rim here in Australia u can nearly buy a real hatckback tyre for that 🤣
@@lukedraper4100 Ohh bro don't get me started on how expensive this hobby is. I just close my eyes and add to cart 🤣
Yo that's crazy why are you sanding the outside with the plastic on it OMG and that big spray can of paint what the hell bro
How about a wing that matches the car.
You mean color it in the same color as the body?
@@GregSupe Yes.
@@mortonbeard2240 Gotcha, prefer the contrast
