Thanks. I had it tied low for weeks working drivers. I tried high, read wrote and read correct changes, the key EEPROM IC900 at 16 bits. Subscribed to you and Dr. Shock. I used an old eprom plug and wires for the jumper to various pins on the USB bus.

Soon on craigslist: "Mint condition IS300 only 43k. Only driven to church every Sunday by a grandmother. Has loweing springs and CX turbo kit. One owner." Great video though :-)
I will be doing the rear main seal soon on my IS300, I was going to take it to a shop initially but your previous video about it inspired me to do it on my own. I have a garage with a channel and you did it on stands. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for this I was able to program my clocks successfully. To save modifying the programmer board itself, I ended up just cutting pins 3,7,8 from the board you make up so no voltage can come from the programmer. Then made a jumper wire from pin 8 on the board to the yellow 5v on the programmer. Also I found a way to change the end digit it’s a case of adding additional 0’s at the end of the mileage / just before the FFs, I’ve found that every 00 00 adds 1 to the end digit.

Dude you are so dope !! I had to get a new motor and was looking around for a cluster with only 45k miles and it's been impossible. So im gonna pick up this Amazon programmer and try it out. I watched your other video and changed my window switch leds, as well as the inside yellow lights for the climate control knobs, I already had swapped the bulbs for climate control and gauges but now ill be able to change security light color and also the Reverse and I believe Drive or Neutral light when going into gears. I'm slightly OCD so I love this kind of shit ! Keep it up and thank you so much for not having another generic "how to change climate control bulbs " which everyone should know how to do and is also fifteen million similar videos out there for. Much appreciated

Thanks for posting, but I think I see two errors and would appreciate confirmation so I can do this right:
    1. @2:40 - 8-but goes from internal pin 6 to external pin 4. Ah, pin 5 is jumped to pin 4 so jumping inner pin 6 to outer pin 5 is the same as outer pin 4. OK, I understand now. This is correct.
    2. @2:47 - No 16-but jumper is shown from inner pin 6 to outer pin 8. It looks like you solder the connector pins after installing the connectors to make this connection. How come you didn’t solder at the board level? This looks good, too.
Alright, I worked myself into an understanding and your diagrams and pictures were correct.
Thanks for posting this. I’m working through an all-keys-lost scenario and your videos are really helping me out.
Edit - I bet you soldered 6-8 on top just in case you had 8-but work to do and need to desolder and resolver to pin 5 without taking the connectors out. Nice clear thinking.

Hey man! Love how you explained everything in this video! You made it possible for non-electrical people to understand. I have one question,
My situation is kinda sucky and I’m doing the opposite, i bought a GX470 that supposedly had the low mileage that it says on the dash, but found out it has been swapped or reprogram from a much much higher number. I know I already made the mistake not checking thoroughly, but I’m looking to see if I could reprogram it back up to the original high mileage so I don’t get a “True Miles Unknown” title. Would this same exact procedure work for my situation? Or would I need to route the tap wires differently? Really appreciate what you do! Thanks in advance!

Hey binh question. After you change the mileage, have you plugged the cluster in your car. Does the adjusted miles stay or does it show what the cars mileage is? Also, after installing and driving it have you tried swapping clusters again? I'm getting mixed answers, on forums they said swapped clusters will show cars mileage not adjusted cluster mileage.
