If anything a more believable conspiracy theory about Cameron and the Houseguest Choice chip is that he noticed something or felt something different about it, like a small scratch or something, and he was able to feel for that in future pulls.
I agree with the Christmas competing theory. She could have gotten badly injured doing that hop along at the end. If she had been allowed to try in the others, theory busted. But NOW she gets to compete in a physical competition??
My conspiracy is that the zombie twist wasn’t originally supposed to be a whole week but only became a week long twist because of Luke’s ejection screwing up the timeline of events where there would be one less eviction
path to power was to make up for lukes ejection, zombie twist was planned to give more time to survivor and the amazing race season premieres that week
Honestly, the most likely reason that 4 weeks were added to the pre-jury phase of BB25 is that CBS wanted to keep the show running as long as possible amidst the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes that started last summer. They’re not gonna be able to film scripted series until they reach a deal with SAG-AFTRA now, so it’d make sense for them to prolong all of their unscripted shows for as long as possible.
@@kaily9456 They certainly were. I actually hope the money-saving theory is true because I would like to think production/CBS got something out of essentially killing the season with that zombie week twist.
@@kengeorgejones6855 That dis not kill the season. The season died when nearly everyone entertaining who loved the game left early and we were left with Bowie Jane, Jag Matt as the front runners especially the first two
I 100% agree with your theory! I brought this up at work last week, that if a show isn’t in post production already that it would make sense that reality shows are going to be big for networks until the strike is over. Good call!
As someone that works with mic packs, I can confirm that mic packs like the ones BB uses are near impossible to bounce because of the way the mic is shaped
Not sure if it is a theory or something that has been confirmed but on BB21, the people who did the makeup for Tommy/Christie's poison ivy punishment told them the audience hated Jackson and that is what caused them to split from the alliance.
Not sure if anyone had said/noticed this before, but you can see water spraying off of Chima's mic in the clip of it landing in the hot tub, but not when she throws it. This just adds to the theory of production going back and filming the mic going straight into the hot tub.
I never thought about it before, but what are the odds a cameraman had his camera pointing at just the right angle and perfectly followed the microphone as it travelled to the hot tub. It doesn't mean the throwing of the microphone didn't happen for real. They probably just recreated the scene to have an insert shot for TV.
That's common for reality shows. Re-shoot things that they missed to make it work in the context of the show. They needed that money shot of the mic hitting the pool, and I doubt they even had cameras on the pool as no one was near it.
I think Cirie was always supposed to be on Big Brother 25 for the sole reason that you see Cirie in Jared's intro package on premiere night, yet Zack is not mentioned nor seen in Corey's, and I am pretty sure same went for the interviews before the show
I think the difference is that Jared was on the cast because of Cirie and Cory was on the cast because of himself and less because of Zach, they showed cirie in the opening because she is one of the biggest survivor legends, and didn’t show Zach because he was a first boot that most casuals won’t remember.
BB15 Amanda was used as a production mouthpiece to address the Aaryn controversy. She's the one who first brought up the racist remarks in the episodes (during the group conversation in the HoH and then during her one-on-one conversation with Aaryn later). But once Amanda demonstrated that she didn't actually care about racial sensitivity by making derogatory comments about Candice, production abandoned her as the narrator of the season.
I completely agree with this! Amanda was one of the main characters of the season early on alongside Aaryn (as their big bad villain) and Helen (the loveable underdog). Amanda was their protagonist who was given a lot of credit for the end of the Moving Company since she got into a showmance with McCrae (although I think Candice sussed it out first anyway). As the big power player for the first part of the season, they clearly wanted Amanda around for as long as possible and to be viewed positively by the audience. I’m pretty sure Andy’s presence began to increase once Amanda showed her true self too.
I think Cam could feel the letters or the length of the word on the veto chips. Thats how he was able to get Houseguest choice as many times as he did. 🤔🤫
Some say the reason BB25 had the bogus "Top 3" comp results instead of listing everyone was because they didn't want to admit Matt had timed out on the listening comp. 😬
I’m not 100% sure on this, but I think a reason for replacing the key wheel for nominations (pre BB16) isn’t just a way for production to cut down on time, but the key wheel wouldn’t really work with the Battle of the Block (starting in BB16). There’s two ways I can think of them doing noms with the key wheel: a) both HOH’s go at the same time and they have to explain who is nominated by who. Or b) there’s two key wheels and they’re either split in half, or the whole house. But then more conflicts arise. Hence, the nomination box.
My one question about the chima conspiracy is how would it have bounced so high what item in the back yard would have had enough bounce to it to allow for the mic to have a return bounce that high
Take a look at the slomos of the "into the hot tub" portion of that incident, there's water coming off the mic pack in the air. They 100% fished it out and reshot it.
They are gearing the final comps of this season towards Jag and Matt so they could have a winner with a good storyline like what Taylor had (Matt being Deaf & Jag already getting Evicted)
This is kinda disproven with the bowling comp and water comp (somewhat). The water comp kinda evens the playing field but doesn’t favor heavier competitors
My is that houseguests in Hide & Go Veto that houseguests are either told about the final placard, or get a hint on where it is.... This comp goes for HOURS, and I see on why they want to end it.
It was pretty obvious to me watching the show that during BB25 production was trying to save jury house costs/costs for sequestering potential returning houseguests. Not starting jury until final 9, having both returning houseguests never leave the actual house compound, then zooming through the final 9 after. Part of that belief also comes from seeing Jeff Probst do interviews talking about how much pressure Survivor has to cut costs from CBS and I am sure Big Brother has similar pressures on costs, especially during the writers/actors strike when the rest of their shows were not making any money.
Another weird comp set up to me was the Final 5 Veto setup in BB5 after Drew, Diane and Cowboy discussed throwing the veto to the person not on the block so all 3 of them could stay. It seemed like a weird rule that they were allowed to share items too. I doubt this means much but I still find it interesting.
Karen Ganci was rigged out of BB5 + was also the best player that season. They rigged that veto against her, and the golf putting HoH that she ''''lost'''' against Marvin.
Can't wait for part 6 with "Did Big G write the letter 'fRoM rEiLLy' to let Matt have a moment" And also "Did production allow Jag to compete in HoH twice in a row because I have no idea why nobody liked this and people hate him now"
I think Reilly said that she'd written the letter quite a while back (as is often the case with HOH letters), so I do think they wanted to use that moment to jumpstart the showmance they wanted (and maybe set them up for other shows like TAR). The Jag HOH moment I am not sure of as I thought they announced the invisible HOH could play again before Jag won. I could see them hoping an underdog would get a chance to win twice and shake things up...which did not happen.
@@kengeorgejones6855 they may have announced that beforehand but the reason everyone is so mad is because in a prior season, the invisible hoh had to throw the next HOH. they didn't make jag do this even though they made someone else do it
@@ameliabalch I agree. (I also think it was stupid they changed the policy after not letting Claire play two weeks in a row) I just noticed some fans who thought it was done specifically for Jag.
Also, we know a part 6 is coming (we gotta get to 10!!), so here are a few more: 1.) As said before, there are rumors that Paola Avila quit BB12 right before it started because she didn't want to be the saboteur. 2.) During BB16, someone in production told Victoria things they shouldn't have, either about how her behavior looks to the outside world or how she's touching the men (or both), and she went in and out of the DR crying all afternoon. She tried to tell Zach but the live feeds cut to fish, but she said something about not wanting to get the production member in trouble. 3.) Ironically, the clown shoe veto was rigged in favor of Jeff by giving him the end booth. He was free to rain his balls off the other side, but only had one person who could throw balls in. 4.) The first four jurors in BB15 were not sequestered so that they could see what Amanda was like and turn against her. 5.) Boogie's Coup d'état was taken away after he "used it without using it" on George's HOH in BB7.
@@kaily9456someone in production told her that the way she was acting looked bad (touching men inappropriately and/or her looking like she was stupid) but that's outside info they shouldn't have told her.
I’m gonna be honest I DO think Chima pulled a Kobe Bryant and landed her mic right into the pool. I think the difference between the arcs of the shot can be explained by the camera angles. The angle we see Chima in is more central so we see less of a horizontal movement than the camera is actually traveling, whereas the camera on the pool is directly horizontal to the path of the camera so we get the full depth of the horizontal movement there.
It's also possible they never had a clear shot of it, they didn't anticipate her, and none of the shots they had were TV-friendly (certain shots still have to meet quality standards), so they easily could have "reshot" it for dramatic effect. Also I feel like if Chima didn't throw in the pool; Natalie, Kevin's and Lydia's reactions would've been less shocked.
and if she didn't mean to throw it in, why didn't she go on twitter or something and tell us? if I were in her shoes, I'd want to make clear that Big Brother exaggerated my actions, even though they probably still would have kicked her out regardless
@@staceynainlab888 In her defense, she was probably under an NDA (yes, they literally can gag someone on talking about what went down, they could also possibly paid her off).
@@TheMarshmallowBear it would be so funny if it were a reshot LMAO they just give someone a mic/fake mic and say "hey throw this in the pool we need this on camera"
Not sure if you’ve ever talked about this but I remember it being a hot topic on Twitter when it happened and your segment on Cameron jogged my memory on it. On BB14, during the week that Frank and Boogie were on the block, people claimed that they heard them talking about Frank palming a chip during the veto draw on the live feeds. The feeds then immediately cut after they mentioned it. I even remember watching the clip on RUclips afterwards. The theory is that production didn’t want ChillTown 2.0 being split up that early and wanted to raise the chances of one of them winning the veto so they could both potentially survive the eviction.
That eventually was confirmed that they had to reshoot the veto picks, and everyone palmed the chips they originally picked. Shit like that happens with reality tv. You often have to do reshoots.
@@aspiringgirl4422Oh yeah I definitely remember that being the explanation. I still think it would be a good mention for the video though since so many people thought it was a legit conspiracy, you know?
@@SovietScotty same. There were a few things going on at that time. I remember watching Shane discussing his past nominations, specifically targeting Boogie and Frank, then saying something along the lines of "well you know, production..." And it cut the feeds. It's believed that production tried to stop Shane from taking out Frank and Boogie
@@aspiringgirl4422Oh yeah I for sure believe that! They didn’t want Boogie or Frank going out that early and they tried their hardest to keep it from happening. I also remember Ian suggesting that production was grilling him trying to get him to use the second POV on Dan. He was really stressed every time he came out of the DR around that time.
The Power of Invincibility from BB25 doesn't really matter in terms of the conspiracy. It was just a way for Production to cancel an eviction after Luke's expulsion, and we saw similar stuff in BB19 (pre-jury Battleback AND Halting Hex) after Megan walked
I just woke up but I vividly remember Cameron in my dream last night for a few minutes. I turn around to see him staring at me, and I was just like “yo what’s up man? It’s good to see you again!”
I don't know if this was a theory or not, but on BB25 people speculated that there was a Twin Twist and Luke Valentine was that supposed twin of somebody else, but since he was expelled, the twist was quietly pulled, I doubt this to be true, but just wanted to point that out.
Idk if it’s a theory but I’ve always chalked up power of invincibility being a pivot from production due to Luke’s ejection. The twist felt very rushed, and the comp was very simple and used the same setting as the previous veto comp
If there's one thing going against Jag, it's that he got super lucky when it comes to twists. Being saved by Matt was just the first example. He also won the invisible HOH and, imo, botched the hell out of noms by choosing Felicia and Blue. Then was only able to correct it because there were two vetos that week. One of which was won by him and the other was won by a nominee in Blue, so he basically got the option to redo his nominations.
@@Kanders190 yeah, that double veto also looked weird. Though at least it wasn’t a viewers veto thrown in last minute to help a production favorite (I’m looking at you, Big Brother Canada 1)
@McWifiLag There was a serial killer/rapist called the bathtub killer(Dale Devon Scheanette). He broke into her room, raped her, but she fought him off so he couldn't kill her. They caught him later that night
If you wanna talk about Celebrity Edition, the second Celeb season has a rumor that Anthony Scaramucci dropped out and wasn't initially a "pseudo contestant." He may have had duties to attend to, resulting in him narrating the following comp last minute.
He was there to follow up on the drama Omarosa caused. There was that big scene where she told another player that everyone in the US should be worried about Trump and that made massive headlines, well beyond what BB usually gets. So next celebrity season, they want another Trump houseguest, but the Mooch didn't really want to play, so they got him for a week.
Don’t really know if this is a theory but after one of the veto comps in bb16 where Donny won, houseguests claim that they could hear production cheering for him
The way coreys head moved kinda just reminds me of somehow whos done a lot of escapes rooms, he knows he has to go through a tunnel then does a quick scan to see anything sticking out and that pipe reqlly sticks out
Do the conspiracy about Bayleigh poisoning jury against Tyler in BB20. I acknowledge that Tyler had poor jury management but to this day Bayleigh brags about poisoning the jury against him and Hayleigh says she voted for Tyler even though the others told her to vote for anyone but Tyler. But the community is still divided on whether or not this cost him the game.
I have two conspiracy theories- 1) Memphis did call the David the N word on BB All Stars 2 2) Production intentionally hides certain things on the feeds about or what certain players or their favorite player/winner pick says and does… We’ve seen this on multiple seasons Majority of Tyler game I feel like he has production in his ear even on BB23 when he used the Black Live Matter movement & Bayleigh and Davonne’s purpose for playing as strategy (BB20) Jack & Jackson Michie bullying Kemi (BB21) Memphis calling David the N word (BB22) The ENTIRE BB24 cast for the mistreatment of Taylor Hale Cameron & his weird obsession with Reilly & America (BB25) There’s more I’m sure that I’m missing but these came to mind
I have a theory about Big Brother 5, and it involves the dna helix competition in the first episode of the season. My theory is that many balls had keys to open the chest for $10k, and producers might have chosen Lori in thinking that she would’ve been a safe person to give the opportunity first. If you look at HOW MANY yellow balls were on the helix, and SOMEHOW THE ONE WITH THE KEY got chosen is suspicious. I feel many players probably picked one with a key, and Lori was chosen by production to go first essentially.
@@Ethanimaleto further add on it: thinking about giving Adria/Cowboy(even though I think he second if Lori refused)/Nakomis or even Drew and Diane the opportunity to go first, it would’ve inhibited storytelling they had in mind. We as the audience knew that Drew and Diane were twins and possible suspects to keep watching for who the twin twist revolved around. And Cowboy and Nakomis needed the long lost sibling angle for television purposes. Adria was the twin twist so giving it to her wasn’t viable. And my idea is that Lori was a safe option because she was an attractive female in a house full of agro single males. There genuinely might have been a scenario where all “eligible” players to qualify with their key holding balls to be chosen NOT picking up a ball that had one at all. REGARDLESS, that unknown conspiracy stipulation might have possibly led production to give her favor. If a character like Marvin or Jace got it, they might have had an issue of going forward. I feel it’s possible if Holly wasn’t the only player disqualified for going over on her time, she might’ve been a serious candidate. And there is some editing on the episode where we don’t see each and every ball being tossed in that can possibly resemble “Lobster Feast” or whatever it was, so I think it’s plausible.
one of mine is "did production really let reilly write and send a letter to matt?" the picture is real however i dont actually think they would let her write it, especially since everything that happened in bb8. maybe somebody on production?
I like your take on Conspiracies. It also allows us to realize that production is working overtime on BB because they have to make a story as things are happening live so yes games can be rigged. I like your enthusiasm also, Ethan, because it shows you don’t take it serious and have fun with it which is how we should always approach these Reality TV shows
Okay! So hear me out. My theory is that Nakomis is the name of Jennifer Dedmon’s fursona and Nakomis is a furry. This was back on the early/mid 2000’s while the fandom started to grow a lot so no one knew what it was in mainstream culture. My evidence? 1. She insists it’s what her friends call her and what she answers to. Nakomis is smart and socially conscious enough to know this will give off a weird vibe but it is ultimately the Steph she made to be her “true” self. She’s not an idiot, she would introduce such an out there nickname if it didn’t serve a purpose. 2. It’s likely an online name and people don’t usually call people by their MMO names. 3. She went to a “kink ball” which is very common at furry conventions and BDSM is very much in the same apartment building with a lot of subcultures. 4. Texas has loads of furry conventions, San Antonio in particular. Combine the fact she likes “art and nature”, her dad being kinda a hippie, and the animal-informed imagery in her tattoos and clothes like paw prints then I think it’s a very plausible - and I almost say we’re headed into the right direction - on the origin of the name. My only other theory is it’s either a screen name from an MMO like EverQuest or some other online thing but I don’t think that people usually go by their character’s name when they start knowing gaming buddies online in my experience.
The conspiracy series has been awesome. An in depth video idea for the future could be Jesse and his story from bb10 and 11 and how production was involved. Special cameo for Brittanys pandoras box lol. Ball game baby
i actually think the power of invincibility was added in after luke's expulsion. walk with me: the power was a twist from the comic verse, but why have a that twist putside of the planner comic week, especially since the other twists from the bb multiverses only happen withint their week (and yes julie counts the night 1 scramble twist as the scramble-verse's twist). plus since kirsten's eviction wasn't canceled, they had to find a way to make up time to ensure that they reach the 100 day mark. so it left them with the choice of making up a prejury battleback, which they couldnt do once they outed the jared secret to kirsten, cut the season short, which they probably couldnt do unless given the okay from cbs, or find a way to cancel an eviction, which this allowed them to do.
This one is very plausible. A previous Ethanimale video said the Battle Back was added to BB13 to compensate for Dick walking from the game (though idk where he got the info so there could be something wrong there). So this one could be along the same lines.
I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to decide whether it was the power of invincibility or the zombie week that was the make up for the expulsion. Like, basically everything is pre-planned and pre-built before the season even starts. And adding the power so early makes me think that it was planned to be there from the get-go. But zombie week was far enough out that they could plan out a fake double eviction and put it in a week that doesn’t wholly matter (there was the republican candidate debate that week) so they had time to build the sets and figure out their plan while also incorporating the scary verse theme in a way that made sense. Did the zombie week slow the season down? To me, not really because (at least on feeds) you got to see Cameron and Jared try to build new alliances to get them further in the game. It sucked that there wasn’t some sort of luxury comp for the other houseguests to compete in that week, but that’s really my only critique of that week.
@@rleighrock the zombie week was ACTUALLY an excuse to skip Survivor premiere week though, so I've always assumed invincibility was the Luke expulsion makeup
MY CONSPIRACY: The risk that Ryan took in BB9 for the $21k prize package was rigged, production didn't have the prize and never intended to get the prize. I have no evidence for this, but I think it's very plausible.
I have 4 theories! 1 - In BB25, during the second double eviction it was rigged for America to lose, the comp was favored for Matt or Jag to win in NUMEROUS ways, such as the height advantage, it being reused from a previous comp Matt won, Matts balls being at the top, and the motive is it was obvious production did not like America based off the edit they were giving her, and had anybody but America won that veto, America was SURE to go home 2 - The reason BB25 had a 7 person jury was to prevent a repeat of last year and have 2 undeserving people make it to the jury. Its been obvious lately the first people to have made the jury haven't been stellar players (Jack, Jasmine, Indy) and after last year with Indy and Jasmine I think they wanted a deserving 7 person jury, and I suspect they wanted to ensure somebody like a Bowie Jane, who hasn't done anything, make jury. 3 - In BB15 Amanda was being fed outside information of Aaryn's actions. Production was getting a lot of heat for Aaryn so they had to stop it fast before they got worse heat because of her, so they used Amanda as a human device to tell Aaryn to stop it. It is evident that as soon as the racial allegations came up that's when Amanda sat Aaryn down and started fighting with her over her actions. They didn't tell Aaryn herself so they could get "TV moments" from Amanda and Aaryn fighting. And once production knew Aaryn wasn't going to stop that's when they stopped using Amanda, and conveniently that's when Amanda stopped commenting on the racial things. 4 - This is the big one, and the one I want you to talk about most... WAS JAG BRIBED TO NOT EVICT MATT? Like im sure I dont need to explain this but its OBVIOUS they told Jag something because he wouldn't be set on evicting Matt, go in the DR for 3 hours, come out and immediately go to Bowie and say he's evicting Felicia. And considering the highly negative edit they have been giving Felicia, and very positive edit they've been giving Matt they of course wanted to keep it going I'd like to see you address some of these, love these videos!
ALSO- forgetting to factor in the money 7 people are getting as opposed to 9 for their time in the Jury house. They’re saving WAY more money. This is a fact to me. Not even a theory
I don’t think that it’s that suspicious that Corey saw the pipes immediately. It’s two pipes, that are a different color and size from anything else on the wall. He knows he needs to solve a puzzle, so he can easily be looking for “a thing I can interact with” and then figuring he’ll find what it goes to later. Also, you can see him glance briefly in the direction of the manhole cover. Also, I think he knew he was on a raised stage, so he may have even deduced he’d need to crawl through a hole at some point. Honestly, if he’s a veteran of escape rooms, that stuff would be child’s play. All of this is reasonable deductions that can be explained much simpler than production tipping him off.
it now makes a lot more sense that natalie and lydia said the microphone fell out of chima's hand bc if she threw it to the side instead of directly in the tub, it could look like the microphone "fell"
Even if Chima didn't intend to throw the microphone in the hot tub the equipment is super sensitive so hitting something hard (like the ground)can break it so just but throwing it she intend to damage the microphone whether or not she intend for it to end up in the hot tub well she had other ways to throw it but chose the one way it could end up it a large source of water
@@hanghand8442 if bb is rigged then how did Jackson win EVERYONE in America hated him & Julie made a point to call him out on his behavior at the finale so I highly doubt it's rigged
@@mindovermatterbecomingyour1561 most definitely is especially the season with Taylor hale winning made a perfect storyline she was the topic of the whole season
I don't know if it's a theory, but the producers have an idea who they want to win that season and they do what they can to make that happen. Example: Jeff's crazy power, Taylor not getting evited, Cirie entering the house with her son AND A FAN OF HERS, that Rachel and Jordan competing together for HOH.
I think i might be late with my comment but my theory is Paloma in BB24 was planted by the producers to stir up drama, and maybe the producers had some big plans with her in mind, and once her job was done, she was just pulled out to prevent any all eliminations.
We were either supposed to have a triple eviction this year or a secret eviction like back in season 14. We did have a cast member use a slur and get kicked out. There should of been an extra event or something right ?
At 12:18 I think this shot took several attempts or at least more than one because when it’s falling I see light balls that look like water droplets. And I don’t think the mic comes wet.
I don’t remember where I saw this theory, but it intrigued me, so I thought I’d include it here: The reason we had no intro in bb24 last year was because they needed to replace Marvin on such short notice. Now, I’m not entirely sure how preseason production works and I understand that there’s a few holes in this theory, but it does kinda make sense. When Christie was replaced in bb23, there was still three or so days to go before premiere, giving production enough time to film Claire’s bit for the intro and her preseason introduction on BB’s social media. The reason they couldn’t do that with Joseph was because they announced the cast THE DAY BEFORE the premiere, and then had to replace Marvin a few hours later. With premiere night less than 24 hours away at that point, there was no way they’d be able to film his pre-premiere introduction or his bit for the intro, leading to production scrapping it for the season altogether
If there's a battle back, then the players playing in it need to be sequestered, so they probably just use the jury house. Either way, they have to rent some place to keep battle back players.
My most recent theory of BB25 is that the producers made a game for the last Veto BUILT for Matt that combined swimming and balancing (after seeing him win the challenge to save Jag).
There's no way Chima's mic would have that kind of air off a bounce. Especially using the logic that it was a soft underhanded throw. That mic entered the pool at a really high angle and those sets wouldn't bounce like a rubber ball.
@@ninedaysjane2466 I have been watching since season 3 was live. Must be nice to be privileged enough to afford live feeds. I was a struggling college student at the time. I stand by the physics (and as someone who works with packs like that) that there is no way it would have bounced like a bouncyball into the pool.
I think something to note about Chima throwing her mic into the hot tub is also the fact that she threw it in her left hand. I don't remember if Chima's dominant hand was her left or right, but if her non-dominant hand was her left hand, paired with the facts that she threw it seemingly casually underhanded and was standing far away from the hot tub, then Chima either doesn't know her own strength and nailed the shot or in did indeed bounce into the hot tub instead of a direct hit.
A conspiracy theory I have is that what if Angela got evicted in week 2 of big brother 26 because I think a LOT would have changed in this season if Angela didn’t get evicted early on
The other thing that gave a lot of weight to the Corey theory, is that his storyline for the season (other than Nicole’s showmance) was how “dumb” and childlike he was. So it was really weird and suspicious that he figured out a puzzle that took everyone minutes in just a few milliseconds without assessing the situation first haha And after nicole being on a million seasons of CBS shows, it’s not surprising if production did this to save her at all costs.
Another theory I heard was that when Janelle first played many years ago, the producers told her the correct number during her famous HOH win. If you watch it again, Julie clearly said, "Without going over." Her original number was 300...which would have put her over. But Janelle quickly flips her board over and writes 275. The correct number was 286. You can also hear other cast members reacting to this after the number was revealed. The reason was that producers wanted to keep her on the show due to fear of rating drop because they just lost Kaysar and fans basically hating everyone besides Janelle, Howie and Kaysar. That why they also let Howie stay in after verbally abusing everyone for two days and Janelle getting drunk and pushing Beau.
more likely Cameron feels around for the houseguest choice chip. there is speculation about whether they can feel the text on the chips, and the houseguest choice chip is the only one with two lines of text
Okay after today you need to do the theory that production did a Porsche 2.0 and the theory is Production forced Jag to evict Felicia… I think you can agree it was SO WEIRD that Jag was so pro-evicting Matt before going into the DR, went into the DR for three hours, then after he left went straight to Bowie and said he’s evicting Felicia…
2:25 Now why would you fold your tumb under your fingers like that, you'd have to check the other times he reached for a Veto chip but this one definitely seems like a palm.
What gets me triggered about Christmas with the OTEV competition was she replaced Cody due to her power (ring of replacement), she cost Cody the chance to save Jessica in the game
I also have a conspiracy theory that Tucker wanted to leave prejury bc he thought that was best for his career and possibly bc he was over it,and production helped him leave gracefully
In season 22 they split the incoming houseguests into four groups of four. The groups were separated by gender and the men's teams had an arguably easier puzzle to solve. The men had to get the ball into a spot that was much closer to the beginning of the puzzle, which led to four men and only two women actually competing for HOH. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind this would be, but I feel like the men were given an unfair advantage in the beginning.
Hey, Ethan. Here's what the FCC says about Big Brother: "Section 73.1216 of the Commission's rules governs the broadcast of licensee-conducted contests, Le., a contest conducted by an FCC-licensed station in which a prize is offered 'to members of the public.' Since the show 'Big Brother' is conducted by a network programmer (vs. an FCC-licensed station) and does not offer a prize to members of the public, it is not regulated by the FCC. A 'game show' in which 'selected contestants' (vs. 'members of the public') participate is governed by Section 509 of Title 47 of the United States Code (USC), and regulated by the Department of Justice. However 'Big Brother' does not appear to meet the definition of a 'game show.' Rather, it is a 'for entertainment only' program, somewhat similar to professional wrestling in that it is a pseudo-contest in which the outcome is fully, or in some measure, predetermined." These are always enjoyable, thanks. (got a post-Halloween fright seeing some of those BB18/19 DRs again though). I was going to ask about Cory and America. BB almost always goes out of its way to promote showmances, even the bottom of the barrel, but most of what they did with Cory and America on the TV episodes was comic relief or just pointing out how he couldn't kiss. They didn't even show America saying "I love you" in her goodbye message to Cory, which is out of character for a show that loves romances. Then there was that multi-layered Zing to Cory, which was a lot of fun, and he took it in stride, but would have probably wrecked some players. Even with Cory gone, the one jury clip he did on his own wasn't put up by BB's social media, but instead by CBS. Do you think production just did not like him (or her, or them, as they don't fit the ideal that, say, Matt/Reilly would have for TPTB)? Do you think it's a coincidence that Cory was almost backdoored the same night that he went on the feeds trashing the zombie week twist? (I remember some fans claiming the DR talked Cameron out of it, but he came out of the DR still wanting to backdoor Cory and it was always Jag who changed his mind)
This is a theory that I thought of recently when rewatching BB4 and the theory involves 2 parts, the first part is that Scott was not expelled from the house, he quit. The reason I believe this is that The producers don’t actually say anything to address the house afterwards like they did in BB2 with Justin or BB14 with Willie. It would also make sense because Scott didn’t get called into the diary room, he just walked in. The second part of this theory is that the house was forced to evict Amanda by production so she wouldn’t spill what happened to Scott. This is a little far out there but the pieces connect to make this believable. There was a good amount of people in the house who wanted Amanda to stay and most of the house openly said that Jee was a bigger threat which makes it kinda weird that they unanimously evicted Amanda including David. But I believe that Amanda was forced out and Scott was marked expelled instead of quit because production didn’t want to have the X-Factor twist, (which caused Scott’s meltdown) to be seen as a mistake on productions behalf and instead just Scott being crazy and production made sure Scott’s ex left as soon as possible so that no reminder of Scott was still in the house and people forgot about him faster. Another thing to note is that Robert did a lot of the same things Scott did when he found out Erika was there that didn’t even end up on the show in any way. I’d even go as far as to say that David’s fling with Amanda at the end of her stay was a little staged to make people forget about Scott even more. Overall, I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if this theory was true, Big Brother was in its infancy and didn’t need a second major scandal in 3 years so it makes sense that they would try to cover it up at any costs to make production look good
Four weeks were added to the game because of all the strikes going on during this season. Writers only recently got their deal, and actors are still out there fighting. They needed easy programming that could fill a lot of space in the schedule. Well, thats my theory, anyways.
I don’t know If anyone else has noticed this but sometimes it seems as thought the “live” voting is not actually live, I noticed this in bb18 I believe it was and a few other times but it’s always before an endurance comp and the person who ends up being evicted is the only player, besides the HOH, that is wearing nice clothes. If they don’t know who’s going home when the live voting starts how is it possible that all these people have a nice outfit on before an endurance comp? Idk if this makes sense but I am more than happy to elaborate
I think I understand what you're saying, and I think the answer is that the houseguests will talk before a vote, and unless it's a blindside, the person that's going home usually knows that it's them, and then they make the choice to wear something nice for their eviction instead of the competition clothes
If anything a more believable conspiracy theory about Cameron and the Houseguest Choice chip is that he noticed something or felt something different about it, like a small scratch or something, and he was able to feel for that in future pulls.
If Cameron snuck the chip into his pocket and kept it hidden from 40 cameras then he deserves it. That’s impressive
They need to do the zombie week again but have it be a normal week as well.
The extra four weeks were purgatory.
@@kaily9456 They certainly were. I actually hope the money-saving theory is true because I would like to think production/CBS got something out of essentially killing the season with that zombie week twist.
@@kengeorgejones6855 fuck scary week all my homies hate scary week
@@kengeorgejones6855 That dis not kill the season. The season died when nearly everyone entertaining who loved the game left early and we were left with Bowie Jane, Jag Matt as the front runners especially the first two
I 100% agree with your theory! I brought this up at work last week, that if a show isn’t in post production already that it would make sense that reality shows are going to be big for networks until the strike is over.
Good call!
As someone that works with mic packs, I can confirm that mic packs like the ones BB uses are near impossible to bounce because of the way the mic is shaped
Yeah I think Kevin wasn't being literal (or accurate) when he said that.
That’s exactly what happened. They didn’t catch the mic going into the hot tub on camera, so they recreated it for the show. It’s really that simple.
@@landancurrie8207 Cory is the Pokémon evolution of Zach. It’s not a surprise.
I definitely believe the Christmas one now that I heard it cause why was she allowed to compete in that 😂😂
Conspiracy theory, Bowie Jane is actually an amazing player who has figured out how to win BB without ever being considered a threat.
Love the added calculations for Cameron’s odds!!
Someone (I can't tell who) saying "it fell out of her hand" when Chima clearly throws the mic makes me laugh every time.
My one question about the chima conspiracy is how would it have bounced so high what item in the back yard would have had enough bounce to it to allow for the mic to have a return bounce that high
I think the main point of the conspiracy is that late rob production refilmed the part where it entered the pool to be more interesting for TV
Take a look at the slomos of the "into the hot tub" portion of that incident, there's water coming off the mic pack in the air. They 100% fished it out and reshot it.
crazy how cirie’s chip wasn’t chosen the entire season
They are gearing the final comps of this season towards Jag and Matt so they could have a winner with a good storyline like what Taylor had (Matt being Deaf & Jag already getting Evicted)
This is kinda disproven with the bowling comp and water comp (somewhat). The water comp kinda evens the playing field but doesn’t favor heavier competitors
My is that houseguests in Hide & Go Veto that houseguests are either told about the final placard, or get a hint on where it is.... This comp goes for HOURS, and I see on why they want to end it.
The fact that Paul even organised everyone to throw to competition is such a great moment of bb19, probably as good as the season ever got lmao
I don't know, the ending amused me...
I noticed this on my recent first time watch
Karen Ganci was rigged out of BB5 + was also the best player that season. They rigged that veto against her, and the golf putting HoH that she ''''lost'''' against Marvin.
Can't wait for part 6 with "Did Big G write the letter 'fRoM rEiLLy' to let Matt have a moment"
And also "Did production allow Jag to compete in HoH twice in a row because I have no idea why nobody liked this and people hate him now"
I think Reilly said that she'd written the letter quite a while back (as is often the case with HOH letters), so I do think they wanted to use that moment to jumpstart the showmance they wanted (and maybe set them up for other shows like TAR).
When Ethanimale & Peridiam both drop videos on the same day makes my day infinitely better!!
Also, we know a part 6 is coming (we gotta get to 10!!), so here are a few more:
1.) As said before, there are rumors that Paola Avila quit BB12 right before it started because she didn't want to be the saboteur.
Wait, can you elaborate on #2? It sounds really interesting but I'm not quite sure what you're actually saying.
@@kaily9456someone in production told her that the way she was acting looked bad (touching men inappropriately and/or her looking like she was stupid) but that's outside info they shouldn't have told her.
There was definitely something said to Victoria. I believe Zach’s story on that 100%.
@@TheMarshmallowBear I hadn't considered that

That would explain the power of invincibility and Zombie week being a thing.
Idk if it’s a theory but I’ve always chalked up power of invincibility being a pivot from production due to Luke’s ejection. The twist felt very rushed, and the comp was very simple and used the same setting as the previous veto comp
Can you do a video series on the best alliance from every season?? I’d love that!
Good idea
as someone who _cares_ about math and really struggles to really understand how probabilities work, I really appreciate you showing your work
Side note, Jag being saved by a twist might work against him as far as jury votes
It didn't
Whenever Shima is mentioned, I can't help but think about her actual confrontation with a serial killer
Wait what
@McWifiLag There was a serial killer/rapist called the bathtub killer(Dale Devon Scheanette).
This one is good. Like “secret houseguest”, come on, he clearly just walked.
I have two conspiracy theories-
1) Memphis did call the David the N word on BB All Stars 2
2) Production intentionally hides certain things on the feeds about or what certain players or their favorite player/winner pick says and does…
We’ve seen this on multiple seasons
Majority of Tyler game I feel like he has production in his ear even on BB23 when he used the Black Live Matter movement & Bayleigh and Davonne’s purpose for playing as strategy (BB20)
Jack & Jackson Michie bullying Kemi (BB21)
Memphis calling David the N word (BB22)
The ENTIRE BB24 cast for the mistreatment of Taylor Hale
Cameron & his weird obsession with Reilly & America (BB25)
There’s more I’m sure that I’m missing but these came to mind
Some day Memphis didn’t. But he has a 1776 and Kenny Rogers poster in his dang house.
During bb15, one theory is that the mvp twist was switched so that America could vote and get out unlikeable players (Amanda, Aaryn, Gina Marie)
Just turned out Elissa was unlikeable as well.
Ooo I’ll have to come back to this one and look further for part 6
@@Ethanimale Woooohoooo!
Always good waking up to an iconic Ethanimale video 😍🤩
The conspiracy series has been awesome. An in depth video idea for the future could be Jesse and his story from bb10 and 11 and how production was involved. Special cameo for Brittanys pandoras box lol. Ball game baby
Helen was pushed, though?!?!
i actually think the power of invincibility was added in after luke's expulsion.
walk with me: the power was a twist from the comic verse, but why have a that twist putside of the planner comic week, especially since the other twists from the bb multiverses only happen withint their week (and yes julie counts the night 1 scramble twist as the scramble-verse's twist). plus since kirsten's eviction wasn't canceled, they had to find a way to make up time to ensure that they reach the 100 day mark. so it left them with the choice of making up a prejury battleback, which they couldnt do once they outed the jared secret to kirsten, cut the season short, which they probably couldnt do unless given the okay from cbs, or find a way to cancel an eviction, which this allowed them to do.
This one is very plausible. A previous Ethanimale video said the Battle Back was added to BB13 to compensate for Dick walking from the game (though idk where he got the info so there could be something wrong there). So this one could be along the same lines.
This makes since
I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to decide whether it was the power of invincibility or the zombie week that was the make up for the expulsion.
@@rleighrock it was kinda nice to have a week off
@@rleighrock the zombie week was ACTUALLY an excuse to skip Survivor premiere week though, so I've always assumed invincibility was the Luke expulsion makeup
MY CONSPIRACY: The risk that Ryan took in BB9 for the $21k prize package was rigged, production didn't have the prize and never intended to get the prize. I have no evidence for this, but I think it's very plausible.
I have 4 theories!
1 - In BB25, during the second double eviction it was rigged for America to lose, the comp was favored for Matt or Jag to win in NUMEROUS ways, such as the height advantage, it being reused from a previous comp Matt won, Matts balls being at the top, and the motive is it was obvious production did not like America based off the edit they were giving her, and had anybody but America won that veto, America was SURE to go home
2 - The reason BB25 had a 7 person jury was to prevent a repeat of last year and have 2 undeserving people make it to the jury.
And considering the highly negative edit they have been giving Felicia, and very positive edit they've been giving Matt they of course wanted to keep it going
I'd like to see you address some of these, love these videos!
I have a theory that the producers forced Matt to put Cirie up instead of Bowie Jane to cause a lot of drama
They casted Cory thinking he would know about the Jared and Cirie twist.
few thousand in rent? much more than that, the rent on those houses are crazy, 1 month depending on the house could be 30-50k
Even if Chima didn't intend to throw the microphone in the hot tub the equipment is super sensitive so hitting something hard (like the ground)can break it so just but throwing it she intend to damage the microphone whether or not she intend for it to end up in the hot tub well she had other ways to throw it but chose the one way it could end up it a large source of water
another fire vid bro
I believe big brother is fully scripted and pre determined the season with the “cookout”group was very scripted and suspicious
I think it’s impossible for this not to have come out with people like zach rance speaking out
@@scarcity1525 no one speaks out real truth when your getting paid
@@scarcity1525 big brother is 100% scripted rigged etc
I don’t remember where I saw this theory, but it intrigued me, so I thought I’d include it here:
The reason we had no intro in bb24 last year was because they needed to replace Marvin on such short notice.
How about the conspiracy that Cirie’s Straw in the second double Veto was tilted?
If there's a battle back, then the players playing in it need to be sequestered, so they probably just use the jury house. Either way, they have to rent some place to keep battle back players.
My most recent theory of BB25 is that the producers made a game for the last Veto BUILT for Matt that combined swimming and balancing (after seeing him win the challenge to save Jag).
I watched the BB11 live feeds and I watched with my own eyes as chima directly threw the mic into the hot tub. Debunked.
4:35 here from 6.0, def made the szn for Paul
honestly the chima mic toss looks really edited
There's no way Chima's mic would have that kind of air off a bounce. Especially using the logic that it was a soft underhanded throw. That mic entered the pool at a really high angle and those sets wouldn't bounce like a rubber ball.
You know some of us were around to watch that season live, right? Feeds and all. 🙄
With all the money Big brother has made and they haven’t bought the Jury house is ridiculous.
everyone going along with Paul's plan is probably the saddest thing I've seen in this show
the fake "its raining" narrative was so the plan to let Christmas win could go through. production certainly helped Corey in that comp
A conspiracy theory I have is that what if Angela got evicted in week 2 of big brother 26 because I think a LOT would have changed in this season if Angela didn’t get evicted early on
@@ThatPartyGuyVR that’s not a conspiracy theory and more of a what if, but I like the energy!
The other thing that gave a lot of weight to the Corey theory, is that his storyline for the season (other than Nicole’s showmance) was how “dumb” and childlike he was. So it was really weird and suspicious that he figured out a puzzle that took everyone minutes in just a few milliseconds without assessing the situation first haha
And after nicole being on a million seasons of CBS shows, it’s not surprising if production did this to save her at all costs.
5:48 where’s my “WHAT THE HELL?!”
I think they put houseguests choice chip back into the bag/container if they pick it.
more likely Cameron feels around for the houseguest choice chip. there is speculation about whether they can feel the text on the chips, and the houseguest choice chip is the only one with two lines of text
I'm surprised it took you so long to talk about the BB18 one 😂
What gets me triggered about Christmas with the OTEV competition was she replaced Cody due to her power (ring of replacement), she cost Cody the chance to save Jessica in the game
Theory ! Willie on BB 14 was a plant from production all along in order to get expelled so that the coach’s could join
Unlikely. He was cast due to Russell Hantz' popularity in Survivor. They wanted him long term.
I’ve also got another one that Big Brother 25 was planned to have been story based.
Part 1 of BB14s final HOH was the same comp that Dan won on season 10, leading to his replacement nominee roulette. Hmmm
Hey, Ethan. Here's what the FCC says about Big Brother: "Section 73.1216 of the Commission's rules governs the broadcast of licensee-conducted contests, Le., a contest conducted by an
FCC-licensed station in which a prize is offered 'to members of the public.' Since the show 'Big Brother' is conducted by a network programmer (vs. an FCC-licensed station) and does not offer a prize to members of the public, it is not regulated by the FCC. A 'game show' in which 'selected contestants' (vs. 'members of the public') participate is governed by Section 509 of Title 47 of the
United States Code (USC), and regulated by the Department of Justice. However 'Big Brother' does not appear to meet the definition of a 'game show.' Rather, it is a 'for entertainment only' program, somewhat similar to professional wrestling in that it is a pseudo-contest in which the outcome is fully, or in some measure, predetermined." I should email this to you.
These are always enjoyable, thanks.
Overall, I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if this theory was true, Big Brother was in its infancy and didn’t need a second major scandal in 3 years so it makes sense that they would try to cover it up at any costs to make production look good
Production wanted Nicole to win. They love her. They did Natalie so dirty.
Four weeks were added to the game because of all the strikes going on during this season. Writers only recently got their deal, and actors are still out there fighting. They needed easy programming that could fill a lot of space in the schedule.
Well, thats my theory, anyways.
Cameron easily made a mark on the first houseguest choice chip that he got, from then on he was using touch to find the mark he made.
I’m pretty sure there’s more then two hg choice chips. Maybe less with less houseguests
