Why do people run the Matrix command 😂...her academic background gave her the study chops to dig in. Whats unclear is the price of the bootcamp and technical knowledge prior. 4 months is pretty farfetched. Landing a job in that timeline is also a blessing of God and lined up pro referrals.

It is difficult to get a job if you don’t have Work Experience
I've got couple of years of experience. The best route is computer science degree plus bootcamp. If you do only bootcamp then work as frontend developer and do academic computer science courses part time whatever diploma or masters you can do. To be a good software engineer you need to learn some theory about many areas. Most important is probably software design patterns and different software paradigms. You need to have understanding of network, some infrastructure knowledge and ability to make decisions on these areas. I think after bootcamp you are not software engineer, you are junior, intern or apprentice software developer. However everyone has to start from somewhere. If you have the motivation you can do it insha'Allah. You will need at least 1 year learning part time alongside your work and more projects than available in bootcamp to showcase to employers. However bootcamp is good because you get tutors and guidance in the beginning of your journey. You do self projects and use udemy learning resources after bootcamp, it's doable. Spend at least 1 year learning and developing real world apps but start with the bootcamp.
I'm self taught and been applying to entry level jobs for the past 2 years with no luck. Many people are struggling similarly but she got a job within 6 months of her coding journey? Fair play to her, but what's the catch lol

@@fsttechacademy I don't think that's quite right though. There is definitely a surplus of developers in the UK market especially at the junior levels. Did you have a connection to the company that hired her?

This is the encouraging and misleading at the same time. It is encouraging because I am happy to see Somali female in IT doing great. However, it is misleading to call her "software engineer". Software engineering is 4 years college of hard work from basic of computer(bit& bites), math(calculus), and electronics to high algorithm computing with different programming languages.
mastering the front end wont make you a software developer and think this video is misleading some frames anyway what's up with that matrix that aint node modules

From im interesting the course give more details including price cheers
Why do people run the Matrix command 😂...her academic background gave her the study chops to dig in. Whats unclear is the price of the bootcamp and technical knowledge prior. 4 months is pretty farfetched. Landing a job in that timeline is also a blessing of God and lined up pro referrals.
She finished the course in 4 months, it is possible if you put an average of 8 hours a day, plus in the UK there is a shortage of developers, it recruits from abroad countries such as India, Pakistan, Hibo also did two months of Work Experience at Luul Solutions before she applied for jobs, she worked on a point of sale system we were developing at the time which is available on lulpos.com. It is difficult to get a job if you don’t have Work Experience

I'm happy im cybersecurity engineer
Iam intrested in the cybersecueity career. What is your advice, brother
Where do I start
Hambalyo Hibo🎉
Thanks for this podcast. Please what's her linkedin?
In sha Allah

Fair play to her, but what's the catch lol

@@fsttechacademy I don't think that's quite right though. There is definitely a surplus of developers in the UK market especially at the junior levels. Companies are rarely even hiring juniors anymore. I have friends with 1-3 years of experience who have all been struggling to find roles since last year.
Did you have a connection to the company that hired her?
@@keifer7813 we have no connections we have developed a job portal employers recruit from, we have a sister company that gives a graduates hands on commercial work experience as interns. programming is not like a book you read and move on, it needs practice and you get stuck, the difference is when you have teachers that are available on Discord 24/7 and students that as soon as you share a screenshot of the code error, reply to you and help you fix the issue, (basically a community) it is a different game.
I have been coding over 20 years, see my linkedin profile link, www.linkedin.com/in/ahmed-dini-16597640/

Why does she have htop in the background
People spend five years in engineering school, yet others become software engineers in just a few months?
This is the encouraging and misleading at the same time. It is encouraging because I am happy to see Somali female in IT doing great. However, it is misleading to call her "software engineer". Software engineering is 4 years college of hard work from basic of computer(bit& bites), math(calculus), and electronics to high algorithm computing with different programming languages.
Exactly what she did
mastering the front end wont make you a software developer and think this video is misleading some frames anyway what's up with that matrix that aint node modules
As computer science junior student, yes in away Front-end developers are software engineers
