I am a Brit and worked for the UK Department Of Energy from 1977 to 1978 and research was being done then in collaboration with US Universities and I remember talk then of fuel cells, so bring it on. I drive a diesel and cannot afford an EV so if this comes along as an alternative upgrade, I will very seriously considerate it.
It still requires diesel fuel to run as this is only a hydrogen generator to add to the air used in a standard Diesel engine. It give some power but it’s main function is to eliminate or greatly reduce the production of NoX and particulate left after the burning or diesel. The engine will not run on hydrogen alone. It must have a diesel fuel to run. As far as a vehicle application, their is little extra fuel economy to be had, only cleaner emissions. Today, a Diesel engine is required to use extremely low sulphur fuel and have a particulate trap. As the trap become full by restricting exhaust flow, it is sensed by a difference in engine side pressure increase while the exhaust side pressure drops. Like a vacuum cleaner that has a plugged filter bag, vacuum is low or lost while exhaust is low. Sorry! This is not the holy grail for Diesel engines as a fuel replacement. Other Diesel engines use a blue juice in a separate tank that is metered into the exhaust stream, this too reduces particulate matter low but does roughly nothing for NoX at the time of my last training by engineering with GM. There are lots of people who put out fake info to try and suppress this amazing simple easy safe tech.

In 2007, GM had 4 hydrogen fuel cell labs working on mobile hydrogen powered vehicles. They used the "PEM" (Proton Exchange Membrane) as it strips the electron off the hydrogen/air atom, forcing it to travel a path around the membrane via a given collection grid and path to flow. Being the definition of electricity (Voltage = electrons in motion moving toward an area of less electrons). 180 volt DC is the output. Shared with a converter & inverter for 12-14Vdc to operate normal car stuff, but AC as well. Both boxes create heat, so de-ionized water is mixed with antifreeze and has a radiator & heater core. The AC controller operates 3-phase AC motors by running 3 wires to any location a motor is needed. They used a modified version of the EV-1 for front drive. Two tanks would power the vehicle to 100 MPH with 5 people. The range was over 300 miles, but they were obsessed with getting over 86% efficiency from the PEM fuel cell. Hydrogen floats straight up. So if a leak ever happened, it's gone. I would drive a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle in a heartbeat. I already know the hydrogen generation program that can go anywhere water and electricity are found. We had a commercialized version of this on every Equity truck assigned to PepsiCo... and it NEVER yielded accurate results. When I ask my supervisor about this, he said it didn't matter. The only reason they had them, was because the fed allowed them 'research' status to run pre-emissions 12.7L Detroit Series 60 engines. The commercialized systems we ran, were huge. Probably had AT LEAST 50-100 times the output capacity of this unit here.

For a car it seems like these divices would be useful if you could generate gas from decelerating, braking or idling. then store it (maybe with a diaphram) and then release it when accelerating. Seems this is also a good way to use some solar or even wind during braking and turn it into useable energy for the ICE ---- does any of that make sense to anybody ?

there is a dude running a 500hp hot rod on compressed hydrogen gas. I believe it has O2 in it. If you have a front wheel drive then there is room for the bottle under in the center. you could then put an electric motor on the rear axle --- boom you have a hybrid and then boom, you can use braking energy and solar to make more H. You can add H gas to a diesel up to 50% maybe higher without any mods (i think). They are getting them to run on up to 90% It seems like a hydrogen generator/compressor at home using power from your solar panels would be the holy grail. I'm not sure if the gas hot rod was 'dual fuel' or not but the diesel applicaton was. I don't think ICEs are going anywhere. People don';t want to live in a Jetsen's world of silent cars. That's why people still ride old motorcycles. Ithink we are headed toward a world with 2 interlinked road systems - regular duty and light duty. People don't need 2 ton cars to drive a block to pick up groceries. I also think we will have robots that travel in tunnels underground for deliveries. A local mini hyperloop for packages, if you will.

However the basic normal hho setups are great too What’s important is getting some sort of hho system on your rig ASAP. START SAVING THOUSANDS. I think it uses surplus energy from the alternators to generate the fuel. My diesel truck has 440 amp alternators, so it's producing 5280 watts of power while the alternator clutch is engaged. It would be nice to convert this unused energy to a fuel supplement.

How come you exhale Co2? You left out the human that designed it, the one who installed, the people who made the potassium hydroxide to increase hydrogen production using hydrolysis, Jason who installs it and in a vehicle, the guy or gal who drives it who all produce Co2. I can assure you it creates a decent pulse wave. Capable of pushing a piston. Go fill a garbage bag with hydrogen/oxygen from one of these units and set it off with a Roman candle from 20 feet away. For about half a second it will feel like you put your whole body out the window of a highway speed vehicle. It's hard to describe the pulse wave intensity. But it's intense.

You will get 35+mpg (no problem. Diesel rigs are where these systems really shine because they give you way more torque in demand. Like you have no lag going up hill with a load. Which equals massive savings on fuel. 35mpg a modest claim that i state so as to assure that i am bring truthful in all variables. Like as in someone who’s half braindeaddd and sprays gallons of fuel out on the ground every time they fill Up their gas tanks. That’s the kind of variable I’m accounting for. Otherwise it would be way higher numbers. Oh and believe it or not your exhaust will be cleaner than a normal cars. No. All pressures and volumes are pre set and not adjustable. Each machine is built according to the engine size.
H2 + O2 + N2 = H2O + NOX This is the real combustion equation in reality BUT it does reduce Co2 ! Not Nox (Nitrous Oxides)

It's added to the combustion process.
The hydrogen relies on the combustion of the diesel to act as a pilot to ignite it. Hydrogen does not self-ignite under pressure as diesel does

You will get 35+mpg (no problem. Diesel rigs are where these systems really shine because they give you way more torque in demand. Like you have no lag going up hill with a load. Which equals massive savings on fuel. 35mpg a modest claim that i state so as to assure that i am bring truthful in all variables. Like as in someone who’s half braindeaddd and sprays gallons of fuel out on the ground every time they fill Up their gas tanks. That’s the kind of variable I’m accounting for. Otherwise it would be way higher numbers.
Oh and believe it or not your exhaust will be cleaner than a normal cars. If the govvv really cares about the environment they would be giving these out free not whatever greeen things theyre supposedly doing.
