Still blows my mind that there's someone out there squatting 200kg+ and doing a race like this, that makes a standard Ironman look tame... RUclips deserves a Fergus Crawley v Nick Bare video as much as it deserves any other collab out there... Annoys me you don't have at least 100k subs!
HUGE CONGRATS t'ye Ferg! Felt a wee bit emotional as ye were running towards the finish (Not that anyone would've known, as a 17st 6"4 Barbarian i scarcely show a smile let alone anything else!), hugely inspiring towards the cause my friend. Keep pushing, keep striving, keep that clear mentality.. anything can be achieved, never let the demons drag ye down. Brilliant.
Love your channel! Keeping me motivated to train during a lockdown in Perth, Australia. Having gone through a season of MH myself your journey and story are inspirational. can't wait to see what's next!
Great work pal! I hope people realise how unusual it is to be doing these long events and doing them well, when you can also squat 200. Shows what’s possible 💪🏻
Brilliant effort Fergus, you are an inspiration to everyone who follows your performance. Your team did a great job in supporting you and showing the Celtman in all its rugged beauty.
Well done Fergus! It was nice to chat with you on the walk up to the t shirt photo on the Sunday. I agree with you entirely about the last 40km on the bike. Soul destroying!
Fantastic achievement buddy, what I particularly enjoyed was seeing the relationship between yourself and Jonny pain. Client coach relationships are so crucial in these events. Solid work
Thanks man! That’s great to hear, and is actually covered in even more depth in Gymshark’s video still to come! Appreciate the comment and great to hear you enjoyed the video 👊🏼
Congratulations on becoming a Celtman a very special race and place .. It was a brutal day and energy sapping last 25 miles on bike 🏴 superb video 🤙
Love the channel Fergus. Celtman looks awesome!!! Makes my half distance triathlons seem like a warm up!! Been following your prep series, inspirational stuff, thank you. I’ve can now also put a face to the name of Celtman no 41 who lives in the next street to me!!! Looking forward to seeing what’s next buddy.
Really enjoyed this whole series, i liked all the behind the scenes at Gymshark and the run through of your kit/bike setup etc, great insights into what goes on behind the sceans. Well done on the epic race! Really motivating cant wait to see whats next. Thanks Fergus.
Been waiting for this to drop and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The stuff you do makes my mind boggle. Hats off to you for showing what can be done with grit and determination whilst remaining humble. Really enjoy all of your content and the meaning behind it all, keep up the good work.
Thanks dude! In honesty I just panicked and felt like there had been so many last minute changes to bike/position etc that I’d stick to what I’d been training in for that, but been swimming in it since and feels great!
Yep, and got Swedeman in August as well 🤙🏼 Oh for sure, just total time pissing on the bike rather than getting off to do it would have got me there, and my swim was poor as I drifted etc - but is what it is this time, first FDT since 2019 so all these little things will just come with more events.
@@ferguscrawley95 nice I was cycling next to the woman’s record holder and she said to hit up the swedeman next! Best of luck with it! Yeah exactly it’s marginal gainz that add up! Small changes to your strategy like eating on the bike and pissing as you said! Same in the water I was too far out to the left and zig zagged! But more time in the water and sighting practise should fix that! Onwards and upwards take the good points and learn from the others! On the way to the blue and eventually red jerseys 💪🏻
Awesome Fergus! I’m hoping to do the Celtman next year, gets me nervous and excited watching this. My profile picture on here is up Beinn Eighe. If you’re ever up here even to run the route or anything I’d love to come along and meet you man 👍🏼
P.s justttt wait until you see Gymshark’s video covering the event - the visuals are truly mental 👀

Haha thanks man! Well, I’d be 100% down if Nick ever was of course so let’s see 🤷♂️
Nick is just focused on selling his products. He's on the juice and claims his gains come from his supplements.
He’d smoke Nick bare and his 100 fan boys helping him thru every race
Hey everyone! Hope you enjoy the climax of the Celtman prep series - let me know your thoughts in the comments below 👇🏼

Good work man! How come you didn't end up using the gymshark wetsuit?...just out of interest
Thanks dude! In honesty I just panicked and felt like there had been so many last minute changes to bike/position etc that I’d stick to what I’d been training in for that, but been swimming in it since and feels great!
You doing it again?
There’s so many areas you can make gainz in to get the blue
Yep, and got Swedeman in August as well 🤙🏼
