It’s amazing how defiant he is in lying. You almost can’t believe a word he says in any interview.

It's just sad. I can't believe a word he is saying, no one with common sense does. He broke the rules, he knew it, he lied about it and then signed an agreement giving him a lifetime ban on baseball. He signed it. Now he is unhappy with the circumstances.

It is a simple question why sign the agreement if you did not do it. The evidence was overwhelming

Lied like a rug. So stupid. Threw his whole career away. I get it. We all make mistakes, but come on, come clean about them when caught.

Even though Pete has always been one of my favorite athletes and it's very sad that Pete isn't in the Hall of Fame, it's his own fault that he's not there. He knew that betting on baseball would lead to lifetime banishment and he was arrogant, crooked, reckless, entitled, disrespectful, and stupid enough to do it and think that he wouldn't get busted nor held accountable for it like he and other sleazy assholes, snakes, and scumbags like him tend to think. People like him never learn nor change because they lack the intelligence to know how.

Pete might have been reinstated had he come clean sooner and ceased gambling. I read he still bets on baseball to this day. Shame he never got help for his gambling addiction because I personally don’t think this is as bad as players using illegal substances and corking bets as well as the electronic signal stealing
