I always like it when my general calls my enemies filth and will die forgotten and unloved by their family before a fight or a siege..you know the mini cutscenes..its always entertaining
so this was how they actually fought in reallife
Shogun 2 is little inaccurate but yeah i think so.
If you curious you should check out how their castles were built and fought with it, it's pretty interesting.

@@santiagoamado9056 Yeah they wore them in battle to show their presence or affiliation like where they belong to like clans. Before that, they were using it for ceremonies or festivals and stuff.

Funny that the japanese never figured out stone crenellations. It means that fire arrows can just burn up every wall covering. Also, fire arrows weren't THAT common, haha.
Let them take the outer walls and line the inner with archers and yari infantry.
