@1:14:39: The shockwave generated due to the "tennis ball rebound" theory when computer modeled could not explain the supernova. Somehow, it seems the shockwave "fizzled" out. It was Hans Bethe at the ripe age of 84 who proposed that it was the energy of the neutrinos that creates the tremendous pressure against the outer shell which causes the explosion and the supernova. It is seen that when a Type II supernova explodes, there is tremendous release of neutrinos, and this prediction was actually detected in the Kamiokande neutrino detector in Japan. And that photo around 44:30 is not a Supernova. Instead, it is the photo of Helix planetary nebula with a white-dwarf in the center of it. These series of presentations on physics are really enjoyable.Thank you very much.Reference: ruclips.net/video/o8vq9bazShY/видео.html
