Awesome art, and an intriguing story! One question: Why does the military give access to mechas for penal battalions? Sounds a bit counterintuitive, in most media and in real life, they (the penal legions) were supposed to be an expendable meat shield, is this not the case here?
You'll have to wait for the two upcoming videos for that explanation.
