Im not trying to Troll anybody here, but They really should have Called the R7 the MT-07R. But They couldn't because the MT is actually a little faster than the R7.
Yes and no, R7 stock is still faster than the MT07, maybe on a dyno but the MT07 without full fairings will struggle to go past 120 I'd say, one of my friends has one and he's a lot lighter than me too and he's got an exhaust and tune in his, whilst mine is pretty much stock with only an exhaust
@@stepbrocy I've Personally Seen Stock MT-07's out run Stock R7's multiple Times. The R7's extra weight doesn't do it any Favors, but the Nose Fairing is the primary issue. At around 80mph it essentially becomes a Spoiler. And Spoilers Generate Drag.
@@stepbrocy And look, You can't really reference modified Bikes because in many Cases an Aftermarket Exhaust will ultimately reduce Performance, especially with modern Bikes...
Dude You weren't even in the Powerband. Next time scoot as far foward as You can, so Your Nuts are on the Tank. Wind 1st out to 45-50 then Shift to 2nd and hold it wide open all the way to 14k. Then come tell Me about all the Torque Your R7 has lol.
Hearing you say this (besides the body positioning) makes me think you know nothing about the R7. 45-50 in first is already redline, shifting on this bike at redline isn't too great nor efficient, my bike isn't tuned so shifting just past 8k is actually best just as soon as i pass the powerband. Also the R7 only revs to about 10-11k rpm without a tune and a little over 11-12k rpm with a tune. The bike is great for street use but definitely lacking when straight lining on the highway next to my buddy's R6
@@stepbrocy I told You to lean foward on the R6 because if You don't there's a good Chance it will Loop and dump You on Your Head at around 12-13000 RPM.
I see you've just started putting out motovlogs, stick with it bro! Excited to see your channel grow 💪
Thank you! 💙
