There’s something special about this bike and they are so unpredictable bikes and so much character u fall in love with them. I hope u don’t sell this bike man, I started following this Chanel because of that RSV4. Good luck man.

    Malgatech is the maker of the wheels. They are made in Russia, which is why they don't really advertise much about Malgatech. They took over where OZ left off. Aprilia owns all the rights, designs and trademarks to the wheels.

    Regarding the engine covers, those are not for protection in case of a crash, they are for noise reduction (regulations). Also they can trap moisture inside as you said and will corode the engine casing (happened to me).

    While I don't always agree with everything he says, he is partially to blame for my '23 RSV4 factory 😅. I've watched his older videos and I felt he made a compelling case for the Aprilia. I have 0 regrets. I commute on it daily for about 45 miles total and no issue with discomfort. I wasn't planning on going to the track but now I find myself looking at track specific gear for it. I only have 4700 miles on it but I haven't had any issues with it either.

    21 Tuono v4 factory and I am on my third gas gauge. I do love the bike, don't get me wrong...but its get its niggles. The v4 sounds amazing....but thinking of moving away from Aprilia, hard to get it fixed and it takes a really long time to get parts. With my gas gauge keep going out, I pretty much have to stop at every gas station as I vary in MPG due to my riding. I have the oil weep as well, its going to need to be repaired. Also had some overheating...but I brought my temps down a tad using Engine Ice. I am also about 1.5 hours from the nearest Aprilia dealer.

    Picked up a 2013 rsv4 factory aprc sbk se about a week ago, absolutely loving it so far. Being half Italian, my roots were calling 😂 I find it to be quite comfortable tbh, much more comfortable than my 08cbr1000rr. the ONE thing that i really dislike, is how fuggin hot this thing runs!! Holy smokes 🥵 I live in Arizona, and I am confident that I will not be able to ride this thing during the summer or when it’s over like 90 degrees out. When riding without stopping, on a nice day (60-70 degrees) the temp sits right around 170. The bike will shoot up to 210+ if I get stuck at a long red light , (outside temperature was mid 70s) , but will come back down quickly once I get moving again. These bikes do NOT like to go slow, it’s choppy at low rpm’s, But smooths out from like 4krpm and up.
    If you don’t like attention or want to blend in, this isn’t the bike for you….I am kind of an introvert, a bit shy, not the most outgoing person, but owning this bike for just a week has forced me to interact with people on a daily basis, so I see that as a positive 😂
    Plus Fortnine said V4s are the best motorcycle engines so duh 😏😏😉

    The thing about the canister is a pain in the arse here in Europe because we have periodic revisions. The go to solution is changing everything before going and then change it back. That's why I keep servo lines with zipties and the servo itself with a servo buddy. The final solution I guess it's getting gabro's upmap t800 so we can keep everything connected except the lines. But warranty goes brrrr. Also I go with racefit exhaust which is one of the best for this bike and it has removable dbkiller which again europe's regulations.

    Tuono v4 good choice after MT09 2024? Like how it looks , and all specs , but after all videos scared of reliability, and in Florida dealership 10 min from my home , and men from their service said only problem with them its traffic, and if you seat in traffic their cooler small and can’t handle heat

    • @shauns5278
      @shauns5278 Месяц назад

      Yeah you should be totally fine. I actually side-graded from an 17 MT/FZ-09 to a Street Triple but then all the way up to a Speed Triple RR which has a hair more power and torque than the Tuono and it was totally no big deal after the Yamaha. You should have more than enough respect for torque to not Yeet yourself!
      Also in regards to engine heat most tuners will gladly lower the temperature a bike's fan kicks in if you ask them. Going down at least 10 degrees is a very common mod.

    • @aleksandrkorovin1524
      @aleksandrkorovin1524 Месяц назад +1

      @ yeah, I’m not worried about power and torque, more about problems with them, MT09 have enough power for all kinds of riding, I used to ride it in New Jersey , they have great roads around seven lakes , Harriman state park, and bike is great, but I moved to Florida and all roads here it’s big and wide straights, and MT09 on highway after 100mph it’s hard to sit on it, and I start thinking I need something with fairing , zx10r okay but feels cheap, R1 great and sounds amazing, no cruise control, Ducati V4 to much money, Aprilia looks cool , nice sound , cruise control and etc….but again don’t want to sit and wait 3 months for any kind of part, speed triple cool bike to, but I don’t have dealership here, so bad choice for me

      @@aleksandrkorovin1524 If you just want a comfortable, fast and reliable bike could take a look at the GSX-S1000GT it uses the tried and true K5 motor, it won a bunch of awards when it came out.
      Any European bike will have the issue of parts availability but Italians are something extra special seeing as the whole country just goes on vacation for like two whole months towards the end of summer. Lol
      But as Adobo pointed out the current Aprilia V4 is pretty reliable aside from a few small niggles so if you don't mind the gamble on if something does go wrong used Tuono are an absolute steal and I can regularly find 2021-22's for $9-11K whether base or factory

  • @savvidisaudio
    @savvidisaudio Месяц назад

    Hi Adobo!
    If you think about her "flickability" again, are you sure you mean the right thing?
    I recently bought a 2021 RSV4 factory and I've also tried the 2018 RF. Compared to many other superbikes I've ridden this year, she's not flickable but rather extremely stable, once you got her to turn. The geometry (long wheelbase, flat rake angle etc.) screams stability too. She's not "heavy" to turn in, but this ability to make a corner kinda like "free handed" is the strong point in my opinion. Makes it effortless to really feel out the grip in high lean angles.
    All the other R4 bikes had better handling but lacked that train-like stability in corners. What you think? :D

    The stock case covers are for noise suppression, NOT for crash protection. If you've ever seen any of them post accident, they don't hold up very well. The on off switch feeling you describe on the R1s is most likely from the shitty throttle mapping, that can be easily fixed with a good flash.
    The "trunk" can fit your registration papers. 😂
    I don't think the fenders on the RSV4 Factory or RF are real carbon fiber. They haven't been real carbon from the factory since 2014/2015. They've made the real carbon fenders and tank sides optional accessory since then.
    Your front rotors are 330mm

    AYO if you're planning on keeping the RSV4, Philips and OSRAM make Halogen Bulbs but LED, so maybe you could slap those in the Bike and have the same look. But with better light.

    Had to decide between the rsv4 and r1. Even tho im sure the v4 is faster stock, I just couldnt resist to against japanese reliability and imo better sound, even tho they sound almost the same.

    Great engine but Italian reliability jokes are so ubiquitous because there is some truth to it. Would not own any Italian bikes here in Japan, unless you have a backup bike and don't mind having a hole burning in your pocket. Parts costs more, shops have a flat rate increase when working on 'foreign' bikes (anything between 20-40%) and no shops carry spare parts it seems so if something needs replacing, you better have the other, more reliable bike ready to go.
    Honestly the only people I see owning Italian bikes here just seems like the types that would buy Harleys in the US. Dentists, lawyers and hipsters.

    The Aprilia is a phenomenal motorcycle, first that is a 1077cc, not 1050cc, and the new is all redesign and not just the extra 22cc 1099cc. Hate to watch ignorant riders talking like they are an expert 🫏 Buy yourself a CFMoto it will suit you and your riding skill level 😂

      @ With the amount of aftermarket parts, I invested in this bike plus labor goes over 30k$. My pricing is reasonable for a 201.8 hp and 90.8 tq bike at the wheel. But I think I will keep this bike and use it for track in the future if it doesn't sell.
