I can’t thank you anough for this video , I was at a loss with my bike … took it to a shop they had it for a month and couldn’t figure out why it would wanna die after it warmed up , I was chasing fuel before I bring it to them and told them that … found out they did the same and after two months just wanted it out of there shop and for me to pay them for there time … got the bike back did some research on crank shaft positions sensors and then saw this video and lone behold I checked the codes and had one for the cps… thank you again Rocco ur the man

I have a 2015 sportster 883 iron and it does not have the clicker on the back of the dial. My 2008 sportster nightster did have the clicker. Did Harley Davidson change that up on the 2015 model?

@@TwoWheelRocco I replaced a bad ignition switch on a 2005 1200xl and now the speedo is completely non functional but the red security light stays on. Bike fires right up... is this a security feature? Maybe the bike thinks it's being hot wired? 🤷♂️
That's what brought me here.
Disconnect the battery. Reconnect and see if it changes let us know. look at the fuse box for the cluster Speedo. being bad.
@@TwoWheelRocco disconnected and re-checked all connections and fuses. Still no speedo, no blinkers or brake lights. Running lights (head/directional/tail all on and work fine though. There must be a fuse in missing or this is a security lock out. Security fob double click blinks lights though so I know that works. Odometer only comes on when I press reset, but won't stay on after starting and won't go into diagnostic mode. I'm stumped. 🤦♂️

I got “no rsp” for the first set of the P codes and U1064 for the SP codes. 2005 sportster won’t turn on or crank. Hit the start button and nothing happens. Replaced the off/run switch and start button. Also replaced the starter relay fuse

Hey Rocco dom again, talked to you in your primary chain adjustment video. It happened to be that my final drive belt was loose because a adjuster broke and loosened the axle any way. So today I was riding into work and glanced down and noticed my engine and battery light were both on. I happened to know this trick and got the same code you showed in this video P0562: battery/ecu low voltage. I cleared the code hoping it might be a fluke but on my way home it the lights came on again. Any idea what that might be? I’m thinking it might be the voltage regulator or maybe the stator? Do you happen to have any videos showing how to replace either one? Don’t really want to have the stealership take care of it! Thanks for the help!
Found you me regulator video. I went out just to check out the connections it looks like I only have one. Also ran the diagnostic again got the same code but also got p/n 32152-07A. Pretty sure it’s a part number but can’t find a part number matching that. Any idea what that might be?

Rocco,, i have problem with my 2011 Sportster 48. The neutral light won't lit up when i turn on the key, and the engine won't start when i press start button. But if i press the clutch lever and then press start button, it's work and engine start correctly. Could you tell me what is wrong with that? Tks Rocco.
It sounds like the bike is not in neutral. Do you have it in gear?

I have a 2015 Harley 72 and with 4,000 miles on it and the engine light is on and there is no reset button on speedo to check and can't find any forms on it any help would be appreciated
Thanks I saw that you sewed somebody diagram from the Harley forum the hit the trip button first then on switch with the key to access the codes and it worked for the 2015 it was my O2 sensor so it turns on immediately as soon as I start to bike but now I know what it is

I can't yet. Im still having issues with my voltpack. Not quite sure if the trouble is due to the cheap batterie or a bad voltpack. I have a 2008 sportster nightster 1200 and the dealer is asking me 180$ for it

I have codes after installing a brake light with built in turn signals. The codes are for the rear turn signals, running and brake light, even though everything is hooked up, connected, and everything works correctly (both turn signals, running light, & brake light). Any suggestions? Should I clear the codes and see if they come back?

Harley code. DTC B1006 is displayed when accessory line voltage is greater than 16.0 volts for longer than 5 seconds. DTC B1007 is displayed when ignition line voltage is greater than 16.0 volts for longer than 5 seconds.
Check battery leads that they are tight. Do you have any accessories on this bike? If so check those connections. voltage regulator probably it is faulty, check also the Battery ground cable. Have a 2000 wide glide engine goes on and off I can't get it to run diagnostic just get 01-10 clear

I have an 02 road glide and while driving down the freeway the check eng. light came on for maybe 15, 20 seconds and turns off it has happened on a couple occasions and also not sure if related but when starting the bike the check engine goes on and of fairly quick but after it is started for 30 seconds it come on again for 15 or so seconds what can this be

I saw on RUclips a sportster that shows RPM on the digital display where the time is displayed. Is that possible ? If it is can you show us? I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars to Harley for something I might have already. Just needs adjusting.

Hey my check engine light keeps coming on and then my battery gets drained.I took it to the Harley mechanics and changed the rectifier,but the check engine light still comes on and my battery keeps getting drained.What should I do?
Did any body check the code that it is showing. And you stated Harley mechanic, You need to check what code is stored. Let me know the code that was saved. Also what year and miles?

Did you have the Harley Davidson dealer install your rectifier? Sounds like it is bad. PO562 low voltage to your PCM. I would bring it back to dealer if they did the work. Let us know how this works out. repairpal.com/obd-ii-code-p0562

@@TwoWheelRocco yes every time. The plugs are all carbon up. I had ngk I put the old Harley Davidson plugs bag in seem to run better but still wanted to die when it got warm
These Harleys do not like NGK plugs that's just my experience they like copper core plugs Champion 8HC 810 plug. They love AutoZone $3 a plug. I would be concerned with what jets are you running? Did it do this since you owned it or is this something that just started?
@@TwoWheelRocco my brother told me to get the ngk plugs out. I never changed the jets just cleaned them

@@TwoWheelRocco yes thank you , I measured the resistance, it was 607 ohms looked good connector looked good cleaned and reinstalled the crank position sensor .

@@TwoWheelRocco oh you have been a big help , I thank you Rocco , in my mind I think it is CPS and still looking for more evidence , the ignition module under the seat on 2006 1200C I cannot find much information on it , that being said there is probably not a lot of trouble with the ignition module .
