after 1985 but not by much, I had a burglary at my home and my cassette tapes were stolen….I was deeply saddened that Tears for Fears Songs from the Big Chair was one of them. I did check a popular second-hand record store Penny Land a few times and blow me down, there was my very own cassette with my name inside the case on the sleeve. Happy days! Cheers from Christchurch New Zealand 🇳🇿🇳🇿🐑🐑
Just saw them last night in Raleigh NC and they absolutely killed it!!!! I was stunned at how good they were live... I don't remember them touring near NC on that Seeds of Love tour... I have loved the beautiful mastery of this band through all it's itterations since the Hurting album in 83' I believe.... And I am so glad I finally got to see them!!!!
Broo, how remarkable that must have been. I used to go to the Walkabout pub right next to it on the late 90's. I went to a The Cure concert at the Shepherds Bush Empire in December of 97. Great place and experience.
What an excellent storytelling. Thank you for keeping the speeches, and showing the reactions from the audience. Those details were what made each concert unique, personal, touching, and special. From someone who cannot possibly attend the concert in person, thank you thank you thank you!
I was there with my son .Roland's son was almost immediately below you on the balcony below you (by the looks of the angle) I saw Venus Williams too (who knew she was a big fan fan!!) I have been to most of the so called best concerts of their's over the years and can honestly say this was up there (I was front standing almost opposite Curt) Am going to see them tomorrow in Lytham , Leeds and am lucky enough to have two tickets for both performances in Kingston in September . Thanks for this 😊
This is Awesome, more than anything thanks for the opportunity to hear them interact with the crowd. I’ve been a TFF Fan since the 80’s and these Men are Fantastic Thank you for sharing
Surely one of the most creative songwriting bands of modern times,,The Hurting,Songs from the Big Chair, Woman in chains I could go on and Roland has the sweetest falsetto voice ever ,,can you guess I love T for f
Excellent capture of this concert. Wanted so badly to see them on this tour but sadly, no trip up to the PNW of the US. This is the soundtrack of my youth and your video was so well done, thank you. They sounded great!! Amazing!! 👏👏
Thank for sharing this video, it is quite an intimate kinda type of concert. You guys are so fortunate to see them LIVE. Great band, great music and they have never lost their touch on what they love to do most. Cheers for Tears for Fears.
Thank you for posting this. I was supposed to see them at Lytham Festival last weekend for the first ever time but unfortunately Curt Smith had a rib injury and they had to cancel! Absolutely gutted. Let`s hope they tour again soon. Speedy recovery Curt.
Looks great night cant wait to see them Saturday in my home town. Love venues like this so more personnel, love the rugs get the feeling you're inside your living room. Hope Curt feels better
It was good to see this video, so thanks for posting. I was lucky enough to attend a later concert that they did at Waddesden Manor, Aylesbury on 5th July. The main difference was in the lighting which was fantastic at the outdoor event.
Thanks for sharing this, unfortunately they cancelled the rest of the tour due to Curt’s ribs injury so we missed the Warwick Castle gig. Even more gutting after watching this.
Saw them June 4th at The Forum in Inglewood, CA, A suburb of Los Angeles. Last concert I attended where they played was 17 yrs ago. Still as awesome now! Took my granddaughter and her husband. It was their wedding gift. Garbage was the opening act. Would've loved to see them in the UK with Yaz.
I loved how Roland actually talked on this tour. On the last tour I saw he basically said "ta". May a short something about the place they were playing in. That was it. He was particularly chatty this time. I see what he means about feeling naked. The video and light show on the U.S. leg was something else.
Depends on when you last saw him. His wife had been poorly for some time before dying a few years back. He was going through tough times for a number of years. But he has remarried and seems to have discovered a new life personally and professionally. And damn, he is sounding great. I think he is one of rock's great singers - fabulous voice - and songwriters. He is also a tremendous guitarist who is not only creative but knows when to and when not to play.
They did play Woman in Chains, but I didn't record it. I probably only recorded about half. Do a quick search on youtube for "woman in Cains" shepherds bush empire and I'm sure that someone will have uploaded it :)
Interesting that Roland didnt class the RATKOS gig at the Empire in 1996 as a TFF one... A band I was in got within sniffing distance of getting the support slot for that show but didnt make the cut. Its a great venue, I've seen some great acts there.
Hi Jonathan, sorry, this is all that I filmed. I'm sure that I have seen both of those songs and more on youtube though, so a quick search should find them :)
Was a fantastic gig in a very intimate venue and they sounded amazing. I only recorded a few songs but can confirm that they did play Badman's Song, Change, Break It Down Again, Sowing The Seeds Of Love and many more so maybe the same set list as the gig that you saw, just no video screens as they weren't needed
Unpopular opinion: They deserve a Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame induction
Yes you're right 😀
If Green Day is in everybody goes in.
ASAP
@@ricogomez4020 that is correct they and foo fighters went too early just because they are American bands.
I agree
👍
Tears for Fears a awesome group,I remember back in 1985, when I was 18.❣️
Saw them on the Seeds of Love tour (when Oleta Adams was in the group) in '89. One of THE greatest shows I'd seen then, or since.
I just wish they would do more with Oleta. She has such a beautiful voice and I think they worked well together.
Thanks so much for posting
Grazie Curt e grazie Roland per la magica serata. Anna Maria

we were able to see them June 15th in Michigan.. Loved them then, love them now - fantastic show

Great!!! Thanks!!
As 80's song writers go these guys are among the best. They nailed it with every album all the way through.

Thank you for posting this. Not just the best album to come out this year, but the only band visiting Exeter this summer!
Excellent capture of this concert. Wanted so badly to see them on this tour but sadly, no trip up to the PNW of the US. This is the soundtrack of my youth and your video was so well done, thank you. They sounded great!! Amazing!! 👏👏
Saw them in NY in June, BRILLIANT!!!
Me too they were great at Jones Beach
Saw the show @ PNC in NJ, the penultimate show before Jones Beach - They rocked!!
What a wonderful, wonderful concert! Thank you for sharing. It was amazing. Love it. They sound wonderful. They look great
They sound really good and tight. Sounds like a venue with good acoustics too.

I was there as well last night… they were very good and delivered a great set with drive and power … superb
They don't sound the same as back in the 80s'.
@@ricogomez4020 Yeah, most people change after 40 years lol
Thank you for sharing! Love TFF. I saw them in Cincinnati on the opening night of their 2022 Tipping Point tour. They’re still going strong 😊❤️🔥
Thanks for posting!! Fan since the 80’s. Great job 👍😊
THANK YOU! FABULOUS! And what a great venue in which to see them.

Thanks for this. Was REALLY looking forward to it, but was too ill to attend, so great seeing some of it.

Saw them mid May here in Atlanta also with garbage. Great show.
All 4 of us were there in L.A. too!! Absolutely THE best concert we've seen ever including all of their own concerts!💖
Sounds great. Great video
They are simply incredible. Just saw them in Phoenix about a month back. Memories for life.

Wow this is so cool!
YES MR DRUMMER!!!!!
Maravilhoso!👏👏❤❤
Great concert, lively audience, I wish they would have included Woman in Chains
Woman In Chains was in their set when I recently saw them in MD, USA. First time ever hearing them play that live, was absolutely beside myself.
They did sing "Woman in Chains" and several others that I didn't record. If you do a quick search on youtube you'll find it :)
Due to seeing them at Hatfield House outdoors on the 24th July but Curt's rib injury has brought the tour to an end. Great watching this.
lindo, de volta no tunel do tempo musica de qualidade
Meant to be at Warwick Castle tonight - totally gutted
Me too, gutted too.
I was really looking forward to seeing them this Fri eve in Brighton but due to Curt breaking a rib this has been cancelled. Gutted.
Just watched the video and TFF are still brilliant as they were when i was young. Shame they didnt play Woman In chains, or did i miss it
They did play Woman in Chains, but I didn't record it. I probably only recorded about half. Do a quick search on youtube for "woman in Cains" shepherds bush empire and I'm sure that someone will have uploaded it :)
@@TheAndyClockwise thanks managed to see it live from their concert early june in LA i believe. They were on top form especially the vocals
Thanks
Saw them in Stoke early 83
I was there and loved it. Really enjoying this. Great sound. Do you have any more to post?
Glad that you enjoyed my video but sadly, that's all I recorded. I wasn't sure how much battery life I'd have and didn't want to miss the encores :)
Interesting that Roland didnt class the RATKOS gig at the Empire in 1996 as a TFF one... A band I was in got within sniffing distance of getting the support slot for that show but didnt make the cut. Its a great venue, I've seen some great acts there.
Thats what i thought when he said that. Although there was only about half the people in 1996.
ENORMES!!!!!!!!
I live on the other side of the world but i have to get to a show
This is great Andy! Thanks so much! You don't by any chance have the full gig, including Sowing and Change?
Hi Jonathan, sorry, this is all that I filmed. I'm sure that I have seen both of those songs and more on youtube though, so a quick search should find them :)
I was supposed to be seeing them next week. They have cancelled the rest of the tour.
Vocals still pretty good

Bill Bailey on guitar?!?!
As an Australian who used to live near here working at the BBC, I miss the English humour, not the same in Australia; too serious here.
Wow, so different than the U.S. show … more intimate, no big light show, and did they not play ‘Change’ and ‘Badman Song’?
Was a fantastic gig in a very intimate venue and they sounded amazing. I only recorded a few songs but can confirm that they did play Badman's Song, Change, Break It Down Again, Sowing The Seeds Of Love and many more so maybe the same set list as the gig that you saw, just no video screens as they weren't needed
