Thank you!
Awesome work! Going to the show tonight in MD looking forward to it!!
Awesome! Thank you for sharing!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💖💖💖💖💖💖
❤
It still amazes me that "Woman In Chains" was not a number one song worldwide. Simply one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.
My favorite song in this set is "Rivers of Mercy." My mother's name was Mercy. She was the most beautiful thing to grace this planet. She WAS her name. I love seeing Roland sing this song.
I saw them last Thursday (7/20/23) in Denver. They are Fantastic!
Roland’s voice sounds so much better here compared to 2019. He’s still got it!
This is not "Synth/Pop". This is "Art Rock". Roland Orzabal is it's most underrated practicioner. I am blown away. Better late than never.
It was an emotional night for so many reasons. Love and light to anyone reading this ❤️
Anyone else wanna see Curt’s daughter on stage for Mad World.
Yes! Love that video.
Saw them back in 2017 with Hall and Oates. That show was excellent. They still sound go good live!! Roland's voice has not changed a bit! He still sounds incredible!!!
Carina Round does so well on "Suffer The Children". Sheer beauty.
And Woman in Chains. I know it's considered blasphemy in TFF circles, but I prefer her rendition to Oleta Adams'.
@@thomasferrarojr.9772 me too! Also Lauren Evans' rockin' it. Both of them perform very well with TFF
Saw them last night in CT for the first time ever…I have never seen a band/artist that seemed so truly humble as these guys. I imagine that it felt the same for them- as fun and exciting- as it did going on 40 years ago. They were phenomenal and I hope to get the chance to see them again.
A long long time ....ago. If I could only go back for even one day to the 80's when I was young and hangout with my long lost friends! love this song.
I live really close to where these boys come from in England and have had the pleasure of meeting Roland. But i have to say that we are very proud as to what these boys have achieved and are still filling up auditoriums.
WOW!
An almost 2 hours show at this age, is not a common thing at all.
By far, one of the top 10 bands ever.
And I'm including all genres...
I was too young to see Tears for Fears tour in the 80s. I got to take my son to see them this year. We both loved it.
Same here but got to see TFF during the Elemental and Raoul and the Kings of Spain era...wow Roland blew me and my BFF away with his voice and stage presence!
One of the Greatest bands ever!!!!
Damn, What a show!!!!!!!! Fan since the 80's!!!!!!!
Everybody Wants to Rule the World is on of the Greatest Songs Ever Written!!
YES!!!! CURT sounded great 👍
Arguably, 1) Sowing The Seeds of Love is a better song. 2) Rule The World is the best music video ever made.
Incredible. Roland's voice is INSANE!
They both are
@@joedecker3900 To be honest, Curt's voice is softer now than back in 1985. Roland, he can still belt them out..with that fiery roll of his voice. But it is not Tears for Fears, without both of them!
He got better as the night went on Amazing
Right???! Freakin Awesome!! I love Curt Smith too. Just wondering what their latest album would've been like if Ian Stanley had added his creative touch.
Curt’s isn’t up to snuff, but a great bass player.
Happy birthday Curt!
Joyeux anniversaire 🎉
Incredible!!!! Wish I was there.
from someone with agrophobia that can't deal with a live situation ty so much this is the closest i can get to my favourite band atm i really hope to see them soon maybe. ty.
I understand. I hope you can see them on this tour. They have never been better!
Very little wear and tear on these guys after all of the decades gone by. Lottsa great sounding HIT SONGS!
Tears for Fears is by far is the Best Band/Duo of all time! They are the "GOAT"! I'm 52 yrs old and and I have been a fan since I was 15 yrs old! Their music got me through some tough times in High School! There ISN'T ONE BAD SONG ON ANY OF THEIR ALBUMS! THEY ROCK!
There is Hall and Oates which may be the best Duo ever.
like 52 is old
I have a feeling that Hall & Oates and Simon & Garfunkel might have a thing or two to say about that.
The point is TFF is in the discussion along w/Hall and Oates and Simon and Garfunkel. By the way, I see something that is missing from TFF and that is the other two duos are Hall of Fame inductees. I have been campaigning for TFF’s induction for years. Yes, the hall maybe viewed by some as BS but TFF is so deserving. For years, I campaigned for the Cure and Depeche and they finally got in. So, did Kraftwerk and hopefully soon TFF, New Order, and Joy Division.
@@ronsworld250 I love TFF and I think the hall is legit. I don't think they are hall material. That's just me.
The drum break in pale shelter is mesmerizing!!
when Curt sings those first few lines in EWTRTW takes me right back to my teens Curt still sounds great!!
Its absolutely impossible to keep your Voice same as 37years back..kudos to TFF👍
But they both did didn't they!
Not impossible, but there are very few who take that good care of their voice. Roland and Curt, Tommy Shaw, Dennis DeYoung, John Wetton, Jon Anderson, all greats, among a few others.
Woman in Chains is one of the best written songs ever
Couldn't agree more. Amazing in every way possible.
Absolutely Its perfect
100% agree
100% agree.
Ditto❣️
Thank you for sharing and posting this Concert Rey!, my all-time fav 80's band TFF, is good to see them together again, recording new music and playing live concerts, welcome back Roland & Curt, I always felt you both would be back in the cut. 💖💖
Goddamn, these guys are still awesome!! So GOOD!!
They are the same as they have allways been, no loss of quality
I cannot love this enough. Saw this show in West Palm Beach and man, I was just blown away. This new release, The Tipping Point, is perfection. Not a bad cut on it and most are exceptional. And to feature it so heavily on this tour shows their confidence in it. And rightfully so. Yep, cannot love this enough.
I was so pleased that they did have The Tipping Point featured. They should've. It is perfection.
💯 Amazing album!
these 2 guys are some of the best singers in history. their voices are flawless still after all these years.
Roland’s “Shout” solo at 1:47:40 is a godsend. ❤️
That solo has always been one of my favorite rock moments over the years.
@@richatlarge462 honestly hadn’t paid much attention to it until I saw them here in Houston on 05/25. WAS BLOWN AWAY seeing it live. Roland just got so lost in the moment and it was pure bliss.
That's what this band is about
Roland’s a very underrated guitarist!
IMO one of the best solo's I've ever heard. Its so clean and powerful, full of feelings! You're so luck to see them live!
Some of the best harmonies ever. Glad Roland found his voice again.
thank you for this video, and cant wait to see them in Charlotte,N.C. To me its like a dream come true because 3 years ago I was battling cancer and only given a 5% chance to beat what I was going through. Those long lonely days and nights the music of Tears for Fears gave me great comfort. Now because of the good grace of God and the doctors and nurses I am cancer free and I will be rocken to the great music of Tears for Fears, oh one more thing I am 72
💯💯💯💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Congrats on your recovery!
I can understand the cancer thing, the unflinching love of Roland and Curt and the age. I'm 63. I've been fans since They were Graduate. My son has grown up on TFF. We went to at least 1 concert per album.
Yaaay You!! 🥰❤
I was there last night in CHA and it was so good. So hot and muggy but they put on a great show. Hope it was as good for you as it was for me
Wow, suffer the children.. I love this version 👏🏼
My wife and I were there. One of the best concerts I've ever seen!
Brings back such great memories from The 80’s!!!
What a fun time. No cell phones, just good times, friends, adventures, and the greatest bands of all time.
It WAS the best, wasn't it?
@@MotownGuitarJoe OH YES IT WAS!
I was there. Rivers of Mercy was a special moment not soon forgotten ❤️
I could not agree more. It’s a big place but felt very intimate and special during that song. What an amazing night💕
I was there also. That was the most touching moment that I've ever experienced at a concert. The cherry on top was Roland's emotional moment at around the 51 minute mark, thanking the audience. I'll always remember this.
Amazing performance.♥️
We were seated (mostly stood of course) right behind this person who filmed it, just a few seats above them. We filmed off and on but I couldn't focus and it wasn't my reason for being there. But I never thought that I would witness a moment where Roland became so emotional that he had to step away from the mic because he was so overcome and just started to cry. He understood the crowd knew the lyrics to the lp Tipping Point. He got SO much LOVE. They both got SO much LOVE from the audience. It was nothing short of magical. I immediately buried my face into my son's jacket and bawled. I would never have missed that moment. Thank you to the person who filmed this concert.
@@LeeStJohn-ym4df Wow...now your words have set me off 😭
Graduated from college in 1985. Their songs just REFLECTED on me. Especially in my psych classes, and the whole primal scream... SHOUT!
I just saw them for the second time, last Wednesday and I think they have to be one of the best bands ever! 🥰
Thank you for this video. My husband and I just saw them here in Chicago. Nostalgic…TFF was the sound of our youth and experiencing their music live for the 1st time was surreal! Loved the classics and Rivers of Mercy was fantastic live!
O show foi ótimo ! .
Wow... The backing vocalist who soloed in Woman in Chains is really good. Her voice gave me chills.
Lauren Evans
One of the most beautiful moments of my life
I was at this show and it was amazing! My kids (GenZ's) listened to just "The Tipping Point" and were floored. Probably top ten best song-writing team there ever was. I miss the '80s !!
Beautiful !
Come to Brazil please!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing, saw them in Detroit, great show
I drove from St. Louis to Indianapolis with my sister to see Friday's concert. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, and their new album is amazing. I am so grateful for their music. I hope they continue to make new music, and swing back to the US on this tour!
Thanks for the fantastic quality recording
My Sister and Brother in law are going to TFF's concert at Longleat tonight. This is the only way I'll be able to watch as I live in Malta, but at least I will know what they have seen when they tell me about it. Plus Alison Moyet is singing l. Great line up.
Really good concert like wow!!
Just saw them in Maryland. I cannot believe how good the concert is/was. Rivers of Mercy, Woman in Chains, Suffer the Children were nothing short of heavenly
I was there as well and it was a great show. I had a ball. Roland and Curt and the backup singer, Lauren Evans sounded great. The band was tight as a drum. Woman in Chains and Badman’s Song were my highlights. The new album is amazing and sounds great. I love that Curt acknowledged the little girl in the first row who knew the words to all their songs new and old. Not surprising, TFF’s music is timeless!!!!
I was also at the Maryland show, with my musician sons. They said it might be the best show they've seen. Truly wonderful.
Seen them last night at PNC Bank Arts Center, THEY STILL GOT IT!! AMAZING!! Thank you Curt and Roland for bringing us back to great live music and for a great night after a pandemic..(I saw them here in the 80's) hope they come back next year, there music is so meaningful and deep
I was @ the same PNC venue on Friday nite. I saw them 32 years earlier - June 1990 @ PNC! The magic is still there and THEN some!!
This was one of the best shows I've ever seen....period. I love the new album and believe it to be a potential classic in any other environment where people actually listened to albums like we used to and they poured everything into these songs. What amazing musicians they are and there was no "phoning it in" for sure. They played everything as if their lives hinged on it and I never wanted it to end. Thanks for posting this, the sound is fantastic.
Great show! Agreed! I was there!
Well said I agree 100% it's a privilege to see them real musicians real people that's why everyone of us love them!
Their level of singing, musicianship, and songwriting is top shelf. They are not merely a tribute band to themselves, but rather a band that still seems "hungry", and I love that. It's a shame that the mainstream industry is no longer geared to this type of music, but I'm happy they are able to fill the large venues while still having this hunger.
I agree with everything you said. I was there too. A dream come true.
Totally agree!
We saw them in Cincinnati, best show I’ve ever seen
wow!
I was there. Great concert. Thanks.
Mi sono sempre piaciuti tanto , hanno accompagnato la mia adolescenza e li ascolto ancora spesso , con nostalgia degli anni stupendi che non verranno piu'...
Excellent Acoustic...! Thank You Rey Philip de Joy for the Recording ! Excellent the New Theme... The Tipping Point ...! Great Sound from the Band... Tear fo Fears has defeated the Test of Time ...! Marvelous Concert 👏👏👏
I see them next friday in Noblesville. I fell in love with TTP from the first listen (and yes, Rivers of Mercy is a special kind of amazing), so cant wait!
Love, love them so much…I can’t wait to go see them soon!!!
was at this concert. last time i saw them was 17 years ago in Orange County. still sound the same. they always put on a good show. tickets were purchased as a wedding gift for my granddaughter and her husband. they loved it. also, enjoyed Garbage.
Just saw them in Tampa and last in 2019. They are getting better with time. I love Roland's voice and look❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the camera just on stage left. And thank you for the really good sound. What a great concert. So much to love here.
EXCELLENT !!!! THANK S THEY GOT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN !!!! THE WHOLE BAND, SOOOO GREAT. BLESSINGS TO ALL
I love Tears For Fears ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for posting this concert. I love the new CD and this set is perfection. I thought the bowl was a great concert but this one in front of their family and with Roland breaking down after River of Mercy is so sweet and moving. I'm glad we were able to see it thanks to you! Great seats btw. TFT are better than ever today in their 60's!
We flew down from Seattle for this, unbelievable night all around.
I bet that was one of the best decisions to fly that you ever made!😊
Roland ha recuperado su voz. Está sonando como hace 30 años.
Físicamente parece mayor, pero su talento intacto. Excelente duo
These guys are so f.... good!!! See ya in Philly.
Demais esse show!
Mi banda faborita yo estuve en ese consierto
Amazing how they did Head Over Heels and into Broken just like the album! Beautiful! I can’t wait to see the show in Atlanta tonight💜💜💜
Hope you had even a tiny % of the JOY that we did.😊
They are incredible live! Have been a fan since the 80's.
Just saw the show tonight in Georgia. Absolutely amazing!
I knew that was Carina Round doing background vocals! Bravo! 👏
She's amazing! People here commenting that she sounds weak. Wtf? Gtfoh. Saw her in Phoenix and she nearly upstaged Roland Curt. Received multiple ovations.
I was there, fantastic show.
Phenomenal. Period.

Saw them last night in Tampa - LOVE TFF!!!!
I saw them in ATL this past weekend. What an amazing show, I felt like I was watching one of the great classic bands, Yes, Genesis, Zeppelin, but in their prime. I hope TFF keeps playing like this for another 20 years.
what a magical concert, thanks to the publisher, great.
Simplemente maravillosos cantan igual que antes con la misma energía Bravo 👏
They still got it
Love these guys so much
Son ÚNICOS .LA MISMA ENERGÍA DE SIEMPRE...SON DE ESOS MÚSICOS QUE QUEDAN EN EL TIEMPO HASTA HOY EN DÍA ..ME ENCANTAN 😘🤗👍

Geniousss!!!🎹🙏🎸🎤
I didn't even know about this show! I wish I had. I would have been there!
Saw them in Cincinnati. Exceeded all expectations and I love the new album. So many fans are in heaven right now as they tour.
Saw them live 6/22 in S.Florida… what an amazing show! They are still the best! My favorite in the 80s and still today!! Definitely a life time experience seeing them!! #bucketlist✅
The Hurting is one of the Top 5 Greatest Alternative Album of all time!
There new album is just as great as the older album songs from the big chair i just love there music especially the working hour.
That A&F drum kit sounds AMAZING. Loving this tour.
Would be so great if we, here in Philippines, can watch another live concert of Tears for Fears.
I saw them in Detroit a few weeks after this show and it was surprisingly one of the best concerts I have seen in my entire life. Not a bad song in the set!
Tremendous concert! Loved the 8-minute Sowing the Seeds of Love. TFF ROCKS!
They sound so incredibly good 🙂
Just amazing. So glad they are singing live again.

I spent $2K to see them at Ste. Michelle. Best band ever! Alas, my health is not as great, but would love to see them again. But only front row.
masterpiece..intact talent of these guys!
