i always cut the centre of the rod with the grinder and leave about three inches either end, then pop the socket off the ball joints, then get the mole grips on the ball and then undo the nut
I have just started experiencing the clunk as I change from neutral to first or reverse in my 05 V70, so glad i came across this video now! haha very informative and well done video man!
So convenient to be next to FCPeuro if you have to ship your parts back. I’m in the west coast and shipping 5L oil costs more than half its price. Hopefully a return center opens in their AZ facility.
I only replaced the 2 torque mounts for the engine. For these, the engine will not need to be supported. The other three engine mounts hold up the engine and will need to be supported when the mounts are changed.

You make some great videos! :) Just to confirm, you dont need to support the engine at all while changing the engine mounts?

@@OnlyKelp ah allright, thanks for the answer :)
I just go right for the torch every time with a 1/2 inch drive impact driver but only because I don't have a saw.
I’d do the same but I don’t have an impact unfortunately. Hopefully soon though!
Not Mercedes :(
