I ended up getting the 365X .. I kind of wanted the XL but they didn’t have the one on the spot.. honestly one of the most comfortable ccw iv owned. I debated the g43x and I’m happy with my choice.
I got my g43 about 3 years ago, I just picked up my p365x a couple of days ago now and couldn't be happier for many reasons it's the same size/shorter barrel xl probably the same size with the plus one or pinky extension on the 43. Also being able to change out the grip module if you want I think is pretty awesome can switch between p365 & p365x not to mention switch colors if you want by just taking out one pin.
I got a Glock 43 a few years back, added a 2 round extension to get the pinky on, and I still just don’t like how narrow the overall frame is. I find myself constantly having to adjust my grip even after just 4 or 5 shots, due to having larger hands. Really been eyeing the P365X or XL, to not only get more rounds overall, but to have that wider and overall larger frame to get a better grip on it and feel more comfortable when shooting instead of having that feeling like the gun is just going to slip right out on my hand. Glad to hear your liking your choice, makes me feel more confident in getting a 365 as well!
@@StormbornJKUBuyer beware… I’m a Glock guy, who purchased two P365X models- one to convert to a Radian Comp XMacro build, and the other to keep in its original form for deeper concealment. I’m struggling with both… My hands are 8” from bottom of the palm to top of middle finger. Any hand 7.7” or greater is considered large for shooting (something to keep in mind). I find the grips of the P365X (same as XL) and the XMacro not filling up my hand as well as a Glock. My master grip covers almost all ground- not leaving much real estate for my support hand. My trigger finger also appears too long. It’s easy to pull shots left and low (right handed shooter). I have a better fit with G19, G19X, and G26. I also have a G43X, and despite its thinner frame and grip, I shoot that better than a P365X and XMacro. Sure- I could definitely use more range time with the Sigs. However, the ease of use with the grip and trigger control of Glocks seems far superior with my large hands. I want to like the P365 variants. They’re all American made. Light weight, night sights, nice feel, thin frames, great capacity- all out of the box. But those narrow grips make it incredibly difficult when compared to a Glock.
Thanks for mentioning the X. Most GunTubers don't. It's the best of both worlds with the short slide for concealibility with the longer grip to get a full purchase on the gun.
Finally...! But I still want to know how the original p365 (mags and all) compare to the xl and spectre. Do they work in all? Are they interchangeable? Etc...
2:47 "Bigger like me." I can clearly see by the size of the Sig in your hand that you're not as big as you might think you are. But that's okay. Self-confidence is good, and considering you're holding something that can quickly end someone's life, you'd better have the self-confidence in yourself and your ability to know whether or not you should use that weapon---if it ever comes to that point. Personally, the SAS is on my Christmas List, right under the Walther PPS M2.
@@philweed1603 the whole point of the 365 was being small, his point is probably that a p365xl or x macro are basically no longer making sense of the 365 name l.
I don't think the Sig 365's market share would be near what it is if the only made one version! That's like telling Auto Makers not to offer Options on their Cars. People can like it or not buy it... 🙄
In Free states the capacity is 12/15 not 10/12 rds in any standard 365 also the grip is the same on a standard AND the xl... I can't take your review seriously if you don't have the facts.

To me, the 365X is the perfect middle ground in terms of size and concealment.
Good piece. Sig keeps popping out these P365 variants like every other week.
It be great if you could revise this video to include the P365 X Macro!

All they EVER mention is XL, I don’t get it.
And don't forget that, with a Magguts +2 extender kit, the P365 becomes 14+1 with the 12 round mag (but only 1/8" longer).
The cost is a big turn off.
@@sv2697 cost less that a new mag lol Thats not saying much
Love the mag guts, gives me just enough of a better grip.

An extra '1/8th' of an inch? 🤣
I'm not seeing a 365 Legion yet.. Was waiting for Shot 22 to happen to see if there would be one in the lineup.
Great review. I love my "Sig line-up & modularity. Thank you for the videos you produce & release.
I was going for the p365xl the box reads p365xl but the gun shows p365x well the slide has the x on it and not the xl can someone explain ?

Thanks very much for doing this video. I’ve carried the 365 for years now and want to switch to the X. 👍
Why?
@@jaytay7989 I ended up just building one. Icarus precision grip with a true precision barrel and slide.
Are they still making the p365 nra model
I went with the XL. It's perfect for EDC.
Did it dawn on you that some people may be interested in barrel lengths and weight

Thanks for the info
Very similar to S&W's M&P 2.0 line. Variations in size, barrel length, safety/no safety, calibers, capacities.
Do y'all plan to do a review of the new Smith and Wesson CSX? Maybe have Jackie review it?
Spectra and Spectra Comp are new.
Making it larger just removes its uniqueness.
Uniqueness isn’t gonna save you in a gunfight, wise guy.

My P365 came with 2 10 round mags when I bought it in 2020 one flush one pinky extended in Florida
Think I have the rarest model because sig and all other vendors have forgotten and do not support it,,,,,,45acp
