How to Finish an End Piece of Trim

  • Sometimes you have to terminate a piece of trim without wrapping into another piece or butting into a wall. Here is one of the easiest ways to do this.

    I like the 46 degree cut suggestion. That was a great cut joint. Very good technique.

    Nice job. My dad taught me to build the finished end first and then cut to length. Especially if you need to rasp the cut end next to the wall for a better fit.
