Maybe this is a bad take, but ZZZ makes me feel like for the first months of playing, the main focus needs to be DPS characters of different elements because right now for example, anyone who doesn't have both ZY and Ellen, will struggle in Shiyu D. Next month the elements will shift and then you will need at least 1 new DPS of a different element. While in HSR elites and bosses have multiple elemental weaknesses, in ZZZ they only have one. For this reason, I think going only for DPS units for the first couple months is the way to go. As good as Qingyi is, I find it hard to pull for a character that is an upgrade of an already existing free stunner.
I mentioned this a couple times before the release of the game, and then the usual gacha trope of "supports over DPS. DPS always fall off!" nonsense is what I was met with. You obviously need the entire squad, y'know, but Rina is not doing the DMG for her team to get those fast, consistent clears. lol

If the enemy is not weak to your DPS or even resists the element it is, there isn't much Rina can do. Supports at least for now feel less important than DPS. And yeah, eventually DPS can fall off after some months, but if you don't have the elemental coverage with your DPS, your Shiyu progress will be extremely slow. As you said, you need the entire squad, but without the DPS killing enemies fast enough, you are not getting those S rank clears. For example ZY, Anby, Nicole and Ellen, Anby, Soukaku will clear way faster than Anton, Qingyi, Rina, since the current stages are mostly weak to Ether and Ice.
i would like to see the no hit run! if it isnt something the community already does i hope it will be, i spent like 5 hours no hitting withering garden with solo piper and its really fun learning when to dodge and cancel skills and position yourself. i am also interested in qingyi, seeing hitless qingyi gameplay would help greatly i think :)
the funny thing about the final version of Qinyi we have here is that she actually got nerfed just a week before the announcement. but the fact that she's looking to be amazing Stun agent, it kind makes sense why they nerfed her damage potential lol
they buffed her before was 2% per stack at max 40% (20stacks) now is 3% thats meaning 60% at max stack of stun mutply, lycan is 35% thats insane powercreep lol
@@IyoXS iirc, her damage potential (impact to damage conversion passive) was nerfed in exchange for better stun damage multiplier. this made her kit focus more on applying Subjugation and pretty much made her a pure-Stun agent than a pseudo-DPS unit

No polychromes sadly or else I absolutely would. It took me 173 pulls for Ellen, and now I’m about 230 looking for Lycaon. I’ll have to get her on a rerun since she’s probably my second favorite design/character in the game.
17:04 it's more damage ending with Nicole if you have starlight engine, which you need to quick assist to trigger. Otherwise ending with Zhu yuan is best. Also need to switch out to Nicole mid-stun to refresh her def down before ulting, that's at least 40% damage loss on ult using it outside of def down debuff.
Qingyi seems incredible, especially for someone like me that heavily leans into Dodge Counters to extend comboes and maintain momentum, Piper being the perfect example of this strat, thus Qingyi has the exact kind of kit I mesh with, so I'm definitely getting her. What I *am* still theorycrafting, however, is how to optimise her as a bruiser-DPS, as she looks to be a premium Daze gauge destroyer, but her Impact -> Attack conversion, Mindscape-1, and signature W-Engine give her a deeply intriguing amount of damage potential. I've had a couple of ideas, but I'm still pondering: -Thunder Metal 4-set, Shockstar Disco 2-set. Grace, Qingyi, Zhu Yuan. This makes her less versatile, but the injection of Grace potentially means effortless uptime of TM-4 and allowing Qingyi to have a massive steroid injection on-demand. -Thunder Metal 2-set, Shockstar Disco 2-set, Hormone Punk 2-set. ((Flex team)). This is much more akin to her standard pure Stunner build, however, I figure her Impact -> Attack conversion could be leveraged with that 10% Attack amp, especially with a good Impact-amping Disc-6, so long as her team bonus is active. I know at the end of the day, a limited Attacker is gonna outshine in terms of raw numbers, but the sheer offensive capabilities presented make me think it's worth leaning into her damage capabilities, especially if I can get lucky enough to nab a Mindscape or 2.
It looks like this one is the one I'll end up getting. I rolled a lot for Zhu Yuan but I never got her. I have a guaranteed S rank hero in the next roll or two and Qinqyi will probably be the next one but I'ma get her next week because that's a lot of money to blow trying to get one character. This game is fun but expensive so I'm sticking with whichever character I'm fortunate enough to get and making that one my main.
Bro you even brought up the power of Devilboo and that's why I bothered trying to test it out. For AoE when trash is on the field, try out using Lycaon + Soukaku + Devilboo/Penguinboo. Ninevah sets up chain reactions where you just spend 20-30 seconds just chain attacking, and the output on some of the A rank Bangboos is stupid, and clearly not thought out. Yes, the A rankers. Check out what happens when you chain stun down the trash or just use them as batteries to start the chain. It's a damn lie that chains auto target the stunned enemy, that's just what people assumed when not aiming towards whatever the heck they wanted to hit. I gotta build out my Penguinboo for the 2 man Soukaku main dps set so it benefits fully off the stats, but I was using Devil with Lycaon + Soukaku because in end game Hollow Zero you will sometimes get punished if you go single element, and Devil's chain without even getting Resonia for it specifically will just dump out around half the damage of a units ult when your frost is resisted.
Now, hypothetically speaking, what if I wanted to make a “bakery” team, but in order to do so, I have to skip Qingyi? Can I still enjoy the game without this character?
I already have a good synergetic team(3/3) with Ellen Lycaon and M6 Soukaku. I have Zhu Yuan and M6 Nicole. I was dead set on getting Qingyi, but now I'm considering pulling on Jane Doe to start building a 3rd team, and getting extra cinemas for Anby (M2 now). Zhu Yuan's team, even with Anby, would still be perfectly synergetic (3/3), albeit a bit weaker with Anby instead of Qingyi, but that would allow me to pull on a different character. And, if I lose 50/50 on Jane Doe, that won't affect Zhu Yuan team, and I'll still have Anby with more cinemas than before (hopefully)
Yeah I hate that boss...wasn't so annoying on the earlier difficulties but MAN they ramped up how much he teleports and crap in the endgame stuff. Oh, but yeah I want Qingyi to help round out my 2nd team...also she just fights cool.
No hit run's will be where high level play happens I'm thinking. The amount of resources you need to manage while also avoiding damage is insanely cool, and using i-frames through moves and setting up huge damage leads to some hype ass moments. So yeah, I'd like to see that - it's what I've been wanting to see for awhile haha. Qingyi looks like she's gonna be really strong, and I like that she has hyper armor on her AoE, and can be punished for just spamming that like no tomorrow. As harder content comes out she won't really outclass Lycaon, Koleda, or Anby (M6) because they have a lot of other things going for them (mainly a lot of i-frames and other fun tricks that they can use mid combo and stuff) Definitely gonna pull her, because I just like the playstyle she's got going.

She procs shock quite fast, that's actually really bad for zhu yuan because of her elemental set, she cancels corruption with her shock. You will all be shocked when you realize that. :) she will be amazing for electro dps and maybe anomaly teams.
I can pull for zhuyuan m1 or wait for qingyi and pull her. What is the better option? considering that I have koleda M1 and Lycaon, i feel like pulling for Zhuyuan m1. but pulling for Qingyi to use with Zhuyuan also looks good Help me decided please!

how much energy you poured imto them leveling, raising skills and such. For example, i hate using Anby, havong to dodge or assist before her 3 hiti to ex, so i kept her at 40/40, only leveled the daze skills a bit, just to push as far as i could i to shiyu before the month reset, knowing I'll never play her again come next patch

She's an android I believe, but in the story Zhu Yuan confirms that Qingyi is her superior and by a lot. So if Zhu is 24 or something like that, Qingyi has to be 30+.

Qingyi and Lucy do different things. If you have nekomata C1 then attacks while enemies are stunned count as behind the back damage. Then qingyi might be an upgrade

6:55 “Is the more floors then 7” talking about new floors in 1.1? I’ve currently S ranked every stage and tbh you only need your dps at 60 and all your supports can stay at 40. I think you take alot of dmg but nothing to an extreme considering it isn’t particularly hard to dodge in the game. There are only a few attacks which are a little bit hard to read but with a few attempts you get used to it fast. I wouldn’t say defense is particularly difficult especially when everyone starts to have teams of 2 limited S ranks+, i’d imagine the game is only gonna get easier and easier
The main issue I see is lack of DPS options. Anyone who doesn't have both ZY and Ellen right now is struggling because the whole Shiyu is made for their elements. Next month, that will shift. So you are constantly being forced to pull new characters, build new teams and new DPS to S rank this mode. In HSR, bosses and elites are weak to multiple elements, but in ZZZ they are only weak to 1, which forces you to build way too many DPS of different elements right away or your clear times are going to be pretty slow. Majority of players are not even IK 50 right now, so their characters are at level 50.
@@PersonaPrime It is a struggle but I beat 7 on the last day of the previous cycle without an Ellen. ZY, Lycaon, Nicole. Nekomata, Piper, Lucy. for that at level 50 had to lock in for real to the point I could effortlessly do swap cancels exactly the way I need them to and parry mid animations instead of waiting which I have seen everyone do. Like you can actually do one parry and do a second parry if you're still in parry animation and I think many people are missing that tech.
I already have Koleda C2 and Lycoan c1 Koleda does great AOE stunning when Enemies are grouped (Nicole makes it very easy) so I have no real need for Qingyi might be the first one I wait for the banner to re roll. Definitely waiting for final reviews an if she's good I'll take my 50/50 at least
I want her but I just pulled Zhu Yuan and took me 70 pulls. so I don't think I can afford her. will try to save up for Miyabi or a Good Lightning DPS. we already have Anby and even if she isn't as great as QingYi, sadly I cant fall into the optimization FOMO on this one. i kinda wanted mc1 Zhu Yuan as well but that's also too risky. +imo the game is too expensive so I dont want to fall into the p2w scenario other than the battlepass or members log in.

No hit run's will be where high level play happens I'm thinking. The amount of resources you need to manage while also avoiding damage is insanely cool, and using i-frames through moves and setting up huge damage leads to some hype ass moments.
So yeah, I'd like to see that - it's what I've been wanting to see for awhile haha.
Qingyi looks like she's gonna be really strong, and I like that she has hyper armor on her AoE, and can be punished for just spamming that like no tomorrow. As harder content comes out she won't really outclass Lycaon, Koleda, or Anby (M6) because they have a lot of other things going for them (mainly a lot of i-frames and other fun tricks that they can use mid combo and stuff)
Definitely gonna pull her, because I just like the playstyle she's got going.

That’s actually a really solid topic. Let me get some thoughts together now that I’ve tested her with more than just Zhu Yuan and I’ll give you an answer afterwards.
She procs shock quite fast, that's actually really bad for zhu yuan because of her elemental set, she cancels corruption with her shock. You will all be shocked when you realize that. :) she will be amazing for electro dps and maybe anomaly teams.

@lyoxs i would agree, but the devs need to patch her inputs, cause we gonna get carpal tunnel especially on mobile, spamming 150 to 400 inputs per floor of shiyu... qingyi is a hard skip for future proofing, and haaaard hard skip for 1.2 meta
9:30 how do you define a highly invested agent? Because I use anby for ZY's team but has no mindscapes and M6 Ben for S11's team. I'm considering getting Qingyi but I'm curious about what you said. What makes an agent highly invested?
how much energy you poured imto them leveling, raising skills and such.
For example, i hate using Anby, havong to dodge or assist before her 3 hiti to ex, so i kept her at 40/40, only leveled the daze skills a bit, just to push as far as i could i to shiyu before the month reset, knowing I'll never play her again come next patch

Not sure yet since I haven't done the testing without her weapon. She, as a character is complete without the weapon. What needs to be tested is whether or not she's doing this busted team performance without her weapon tho.

She's an android I believe, but in the story Zhu Yuan confirms that Qingyi is her superior and by a lot. So if Zhu is 24 or something like that, Qingyi has to be 30+.

Qingyi and Lucy do different things. If you have nekomata C1 then attacks while enemies are stunned count as behind the back damage.
Then qingyi might be an upgrade

6:55 “Is the more floors then 7” talking about new floors in 1.1? I’ve currently S ranked every stage and tbh you only need your dps at 60 and all your supports can stay at 40. I think you take alot of dmg but nothing to an extreme considering it isn’t particularly hard to dodge in the game. There are only a few attacks which are a little bit hard to read but with a few attempts you get used to it fast. I wouldn’t say defense is particularly difficult especially when everyone starts to have teams of 2 limited S ranks+, i’d imagine the game is only gonna get easier and easier
The main issue I see is lack of DPS options. Anyone who doesn't have both ZY and Ellen right now is struggling because the whole Shiyu is made for their elements. Next month, that will shift. So you are constantly being forced to pull new characters, build new teams and new DPS to S rank this mode. In HSR, bosses and elites are weak to multiple elements, but in ZZZ they are only weak to 1, which forces you to build way too many DPS of different elements right away or your clear times are going to be pretty slow. Majority of players are not even IK 50 right now, so their characters are at level 50.
@@PersonaPrime It is a struggle but I beat 7 on the last day of the previous cycle without an Ellen. ZY, Lycaon, Nicole. Nekomata, Piper, Lucy. for that at level 50 had to lock in for real to the point I could effortlessly do swap cancels exactly the way I need them to and parry mid animations instead of waiting which I have seen everyone do. Like you can actually do one parry and do a second parry if you're still in parry animation and I think many people are missing that tech.
I already have Koleda C2 and Lycoan c1 Koleda does great AOE stunning when Enemies are grouped (Nicole makes it very easy) so I have no real need for Qingyi might be the first one I wait for the banner to re roll.
Definitely waiting for final reviews an if she's good I'll take my 50/50 at least

I want her but I just pulled Zhu Yuan and took me 70 pulls. so I don't think I can afford her. will try to save up for Miyabi or a Good Lightning DPS. we already have Anby and even if she isn't as great as QingYi, sadly I cant fall into the optimization FOMO on this one. i kinda wanted mc1 Zhu Yuan as well but that's also too risky. +imo the game is too expensive so I dont want to fall into the p2w scenario other than the battlepass or members log in.

Zhu Yuan and her W-engine has bled me dry. Will skip Qingye and probably go for Jane Doe and get some Anby mindscapes.
I respect it to be honest. I'm still debating on shooting for M1 Zhu Yuan or M1 Qingye now.
