- Hey Peeps! Thank you so much to Nicola for helping me style ALL these pieces....it was a LOT! Play along with us and write down your prediction for the amount of outfits you think these 20 pieces will create and then let us know at the end (if you make it that far!) if you were right!! I was astounded by how many different combinations there were!! There a lot of pieces that are outside of my comfort zone BUT I love how every outfit looked and can 100% see myself wearing all these different looks..... at some point! I also can't wait to add to this capsule with all the new Anaconda Anthesis projects that I'll be making over the next few months!

So many classically elegant outfits. Cream and tan is a lovely combo. Dresses are my go to as they lengthen the figure and are so easy to style.
I really loved the black and white gingham with the yellow polka dot belt

I’ve been slowly rebuilding my closet the last few years. While I’ve always loved dresses I went through a long period around high school where they were relegated to “church clothes,” I am so happy that I retrained myself to wearing them every day! While I still wear pants even my most comfortable ones aren’t as comfortable as a skirt (with bike shorts or leggings, a must to avoid thigh rub) and I even have a couple of dresses that are basically my “sweat pants” for around the house and errands.
I’ve been building slowly one piece at a time and have been looking for the right pieces to start layering tops and skirts with dresses for more versatility. I’ve come to the conclusion I need to start sewing some of my own items (I love the 50s esk fit and flair/a-line style and quality fabrics are hard to find in pre makes) but have not yet taken the plunge. Going to get back to my quilt projects this summer and then maybe jump off into a skirt as my first garment.

I agree. I found, as I got older, that black was too severe on me. Navy became my new black and it truly goes with everything. Navy seems a more youthful colour as well.

This was such a fun and useful video. It's offered so much inspiration both to tackle my existing wardrobe but also to dust off the sewing machine (and add another project or two to my "to knit" list). I agree with all the other comments, inspiring, fascinating etc. I really liked you in the navy combos. I think that color navy really looks great on you with the dresses and especially with the navy waistcoat and the pop of yellow belt. 🤩. Love your base anaconda anthesis fabric.

@13:36 a soft fabric belt in blue/clay pattern would bring that all together also. Match the blue well and you won't be tied down to the blue shoes for matching element. Belts could be a super power for you when mixing disparate capsule elements going forward. Edit: those skinny belt splashes of colour are la bombe.
I will definitely be making more matching/coordinating accessories. I also now need a skinny belt in year colour! I loved how they looked.
Standing ovation! This capsule wardrobe series collab has been epic. I have already watched this video multiple times. You and Nicola are two peas in a pod. I love seeing your friendship/business partnership grow stronger! Per usual I learned new styling tips from Nicola and really loved seeing how different prints can work together. You look marvelous in your head-to-toe solids and print bottoms, even though these combos are out of your comfort zone. Seeing your well-organized capsule wardrobe planning come to life is incredibly satisfying to watch. Everything is so harmonious! Once again I revisited my own make 9 capsule plans (which has turned into a make 18 "Sian made me do it") so that I can plan an autumn/fall make 9 and spring/summer make 9 capsule plans which would work in my hemisphere. Congrats on your very hard work to both of you! Thank you!😀

That was so fun to watch and so full of inspiring ideas. I love the idea of layering skirts over dresses. I also loved the way the different topper pieces totally changed the look of the outfits. I'm going to have to watch again and take notes!

Wow I was mesmerised when you flicked through the outfits, it's staring what happens to your waist with the different layering pieces. The shorter cropped tops really cinch the waist. All looked amazing by the way but love the navy combos 😊❤

this inspired me to do how many outfits with my whole wardrobe as a moodboard. it's crazy that I didn't realise how many outfits I could make but it's been so helpful to see how much variety I currently have.
Wow! ❤ favorite pieces are the yellow polka dot dress, blue waistcoat ( such a good shape and ties so many items together) and cropped jacket. Honourable mention for the yellow sash 😊 I thought the yellow blue cream combinations were gorgeous. How on earth will you choose just 30 for a month?!

Getting changed into that many outfits should count as at least one hour of exercise. I’m exhausted just thinking about it! It’s really impressive just how versatile a capsule like this can be. But I’m betting right now that as soon as the month of just using it is over you’ll reach for something red. ❤
I think it does count as a workout! And yes I'm already planning some green and red pieces to swap out with the blue pieces in this selection! 🤣
