I think that interspersing* your corset plans with t-n-ts* makes good sense. That way, you're rewarding yourself for progress while releasing yourself from frustration that may occur with fitting. Besides, you crave color and movement and that maintains your sew-jo. I'm excited to see your plans come to fruition. Happy February!🎉
Working through mockups for the corset could get very repetitive and frustrating, so sewing up something else in between will be super helpful for the motivation. But that only works if you start with the corset while you still have T’n’Ts to work on, not after they are all done! 😉❤️
Sounds like a good plan! For myself, I think I would also start making the dresses that would go with the corset--that would really give me the impetus to get it done 😸💜
I’d love to know more about how you handle a border print on a circle skirt. I’ve got some amazing border prints in my stash that I’d love to make into circle skirts but I’m so afraid that the drop on the bias will throw the whole design out and make it look homemade 🫠🫠😬😬💙💙
I would alternate between a tnt and a new/harder project so it’s easier to power through and keep the spirit up. But I have no Idea what you would do, I hope you make projects that you want to but its a great feeling when we accomplish some of the tougher projects. Good luck, I cant start my make9’s until may when I land at home so I’m going to be in a pickle and just hope that I can get it all done 😅
I love the idea of mixing the hard with the easy. I think I need to do that, when things don't go to plan with something I sew it's like I lose all confidence or sew-jo to continue, even with the stuff I know I can do. Good old self sabotaging brain 😅

👍❤️
I think it's a great idea to do the corset and when stuck/ frustrated do a tnt then back to it.
Lovely plans. I think mixing harder and easier projects is a great idea
I love the dress plan so fun and can’t wait to see how you get on with the corset
Thanks for always being inspiring 😊
