I'm telling ya Slip, look up some videos on using beavers and dams for cementing paste! I got it to work in a 3x5 inclosure with four wild beavers and I got 1250 cementing paste in about an hour and a half. :)
Hey Sl1p, if you are looking for places to live in florida, I just wanted to let you know about a little town named Bradenton. It is home to a couple of private schools, as well as many parks and beaches. There are many private neighborhoods like you would like being built, so a lot of new houses to choose from. It's about 45 minutes away from Tampa, and does offer Verizon Fios. The beach will always be at your fingertips, and there are many local restaurants in bradenton as well as in the area(especially on the island, Anna maria). Hope this helped, good luck on finding a new home!

Hey Sl1p, I have been playing ARK on the Xbox One since it released and the Beaver Dams are by far the best way to get cementing paste. The release day of the Beaver on Xbox One I went around and found around 10 Giant Beaver Dams and was able to harvest between 5000 and 6000 Cementing Paste from the Dams. just something to look into. Keep up the awesome vids. It would be cool to play ARK sometime with you just to show you what my friends and I have done on the PVE Server 81 Xbox One ARK. My gamer tag is JMSandNAS. Thanks, J

Hi Slip. I live in the Tampa bay area and yes we have great internet, but it is super packed here. Traffic is awful... we are one of the worst ranked in the country for traffic congestion. Plus there are tourists and elderly everywhere, which makes traffic worse. People are very mean too. i moved here from Houston TX 13yrs ago after I graduated high school and it was the biggest mistake of my life. The weather is great... but there are so many other negatives. You are a happy person and if you come here it will ruin your postive outlook on other peeps... trust me. Tampa is a miserable place. If I had the money I'd leave! Just my 2 cents. Peace out homie and I wish you luck on your house trip

I think I remember him saying that him and the guys have up on the xbone because the person who hosts the server can't even play (He was hosting and couldn't get on) and he wasted money by getting another xbone and making a new account so they could all play but it just didn't work at all

Hey Sl1p, I have a tip! If you put 3 beavers in a enclosed space close to their spawn and fly to the top of the map and stay there for about 5 minutes and come back there will be beaver dams. They are filled with cementing paste!

(Gigabit Internet) I average like 870 M/S - 970 M/S upload/download with wired connection via Cat5E. Might be worth a look, man. If it's not to far west for you. We've also got seasons!
Sl1p just wanting to tell you something about Florida (were I live) it gets very hot, and humid in the summer, and very cold in the winter. This year in January it was somewhere like 30f wo/ wind chill, and like 26-29f w/wind chill.Just thought you might need to know that if you are really wanting too move in Florida. In fall and spring nice 68-75F perfect Florida love your vids sl1p keep up the Very Very great content.
Hey Sl1p, if you want another good way to get Cementing Paste, just bring your Quetz down the river's by your place. Beaver damns are EVERYWHERE and can give up to like 6 or 7 stacks of Cementing Paste. Easy resources.

Hey, Slipg8tr. Home renovating Tampa Floridian here.
FIOS confirmed! GOOGLE FIBER confirmed within the next couple years! In about six months they're going to start laying cable from the Carolinas down through Florida, confirmed into Tampa.
Source: One of my family members is working with the east coast Google Fiber project.
Food-wise. Having lived around Atlanta for a few years, I got spoiled with the (literally as opposed to figuratively) authentic multicultural options up there. Tampa doesn't compare in the least...unless you like the mainstay fast food joints.
Orlando's better with the food culture, and if you're big on entertainment I'd recommend that area for you. Otherwise... The most of Florida is either cheap touristy, Hispanic ethnic dominated, Southern rural out of the way, or heavily "snowbird" reliant dead half the year towns. You might want to consider just visiting the beach towns for vacation--lot of timeshares and rentable space. It's a great place to live for some people, but I think for you there's better places to live elsewhere. That's my opinion at least.
If you and the misses are really set on the Tampa Bay area, personally I think you might like Clearwater, St. Pete, or Sarasota. Cleaner, more to do there, very close to high quality beaches and the related tourist shops, great food, amenities and entertainment. (Parasailing anyone?) Outside of the main, metropolitan, city part of Tampa, "Ybor City" as it's called, in many areas it's actually pretty...ah...suburban ghetto. The schools here reflect that. Even the magnet schools. Tampa's not what it's cracked up to be in the advertisements. And it's oppressingly hot nearly all year, coupled with high humidity as standard. Summer gets too hot for us locals, to tell you the truth. lol Working in the industry, the housing boom before the recession exploded the number of neighborhoods and pretentious-wannabe suburban areas. Box houses and crammed neighborhoods everywhere. Like serious. Good news is, there's foreclosures everywhere to snag for cheap...if you don't mind having to repair and update the interior/exterior. They tend to be the older homes.
Based on your comment about the food, Atlanta came to mind. Them feels. It's almost painful having to move back to my hometown now that I know what's out there.
Well. PartiallyRoyal just moved to St. Pete. I'm not sure if you've met him at gaming conventions or anything but he's a RUclipsr that does the Ark stuff as well. Could probably answer some questions for you about living there.

Hi Sl1pg8r! If your looking for a home in Tennessee you should consider Chattanooga. It's cheaper to live in than Nashville and Chattanooga's nickname is Gig City, home of 1-10 gig home internet thanks to our fiber-optic network.

Sl1p, we lived in Jacksonville Florida for 9 years as I was in the military. After I got out of the military we moved up to KY for the simple fact that we wanted land. Although, up in Orange Park FL you may still get some privacy and still get internet. fyi We are in the same boat as you two are in. We want acreage but we also need internet. lol
if anyone here wants a fresh server to play on XBOX add "ABN ARK SERVER" Idk what the settings are because the harvesting is very boosted for example pick up one rock & get eight added and the taming is sped up pretty significantly..but there's really no rules but it's not many people playing on the server yet so more people should join if you're a pvp player & want a fast easy start. only rule is no taming Gigas. everything else is fair game & raiding/wars are encouraged
Take it from someone who was born in MD and has lived in PA. Do not move to Florida! We moved down there and spent two of the worst years of our lives there. It is not always warm. It is always HOT and WET. In Tampa it rains everyday round 3pm which turns it into a sauna. We moved to east TN 6 years ago and while I miss the big city vibe (which you would still get in Nashville) I would never move back to Florida.

In one of his videos when he hit 100k he said he is trying to get into the Pooping Evolved community. He said he tried and got some responses but didn't get in yet with some of his vids. I was just wondering if you could maybe try and get him in or maybe let the other peeps know on the Pooping Evolved community. It might be a good idea to atleast let him in on next season action! this is TOTALLY WEIRD. My dad was in a band (or several) since the forties.. I have his 1949 Gibson ES-350, that I watched him take out the door to play every weekend since I was a little teeny kid. I also have his 50's Framus that he used to sit on the end of my bed and play segovia on. He was mostly a jazz guy, but he loved classical too. I'm from huntingdon county. my brother went to Penn state: Altoona. :) .... possible idea for cementing paste. get high level frogs, place trackers, set on aggressive and let them go in the swamps. (whenever ark devs add frog breeding- gonna create backup super frogs to replace any out in the field that dies)

Slip, have you and your wife looked at west coast? I'd suggest looking at Seattle and Portland Oregon. Portland is like the fastest growing city in he country. It's nice, there are rural areas, great transportation and on and on. Oregon especially has seasons and personally I think you would love the atmosphere of the Portland area and Oregon in general. Plus, if you wanted to go to Pax could just drive the maybe 4 hours to Seattle for it :)

I just wanted to let you know even though you probably won't move here, but I live in a small town in Michigan, and it is amazing. the schools are probably the best ever, just over 2000 people live here. there is lots of food variety, and they treat kids like me, a twelve year old at middle school, like adults sort of. like I could go to the local fro-yo shop and they wouldn't have any problem with it. There is lots of nice kids, and lots of nice old people around. all in all its a really nice place to move, except the climate😉
I live in the Tampa Florida area (st Petersburg) and it's pretty awesome. And schools here aren't bad actually, well, universities at least. But yeah there's definitely a lot of culture here as well, I think you'd like it!

Hey Sl1p i dont know if you knew this but if a bunch of wild beavers are grouped together they will make beaver dams and will build up wood cement paste flowers and mushrooms as well as pearls over time. i have been making the efficient by placing the beavers in a cage area near water and theyve made about 3-5 dams and each time i check i come out with around 2000-3000 paste each time i hope this will help with the paste issue.

What part of Maine did you grow up in I moved from California to Phillips after college and nobody could believe why I would go from Southern California to Phillips Maine.
