hey Sl1p! ive followed youre modded and thought it was cool, so i installed some mods with steam workshop, some of with you played and a few weapon and map mods,. for a few days i only felt a few glitces or bugs idk ? but i just logged in today and sudently, i lodt my map, all my dinos, well ive only seen one of my bases im scared of checing the rest 4 rexes i had and alot of argies and stuff and things where fighting at my base with eathorther and whatever was near,.. im sorry but can u help me? like have u guys felt anything like it when u first put in the mods ? im so lost ;),.. and i luv ure vids keep making them with draxx and zuel and the other guys :) sory for the bad spelling :)

You can place a pillar without it poking above the ceiling by placing the pillar vertically in the middle of the ceiling. Then place another below it, BUT there should be a second snap point going down. Once you place all your pillars down you can then destroy the one poking above the ceiling!!!

Sl1p when you were building you should have just grappled to a nice area then build safely and at your own leisure. Works for me..

Sl1p, I commented this on the video of your water pen build as well, but you probably didn't see it. There's a fix for the pillar nips, even when you placed your ceilings first!
1. Place 1 pillar sticking halfway through the ceiling
2. place a second pillar underneath it, but look for the LOWEST snap! There's 2 snaps very close to eachother, this might take some time.
3. Build your pillar all the way to the ground so it is supported
4. Demolish the pillar sticking halfway out on top and you have yourself a supported ceiling with no nips!
I made a terror bird egg farm too, but mine works as a farm... :) Did you know that fertilized eggs can make kibble too? They can. If you have this many birds, you can have 5-6 eggs every cycle they can mate. My settings made it possible to have 30 eggs within an hour maybe. That's a farm. Sl1p, you should do that too. The very least use that method too not just the random eggs here and there. Now I have two high level Rhino... they attack quite interesting but vulnerable from behind. Really the butt-cloaca is their most vulnerable spot. :D

Its the guy that directed you to use the Auto Torches. :) I have another tip for ya. If you have all your building stuff in your hotbar while on your quetz you can place them while on it rather than standing on the quetz. Sometimes it will make things easier when building at higher altitudes and you won't have to worry about falling you were lol.

Slip you can fix your pillar problem! place a pillar halfway through the ceiling and then bellow it you'll then have two snap points one with the lip and one slightly below it which will fit perfectly so it won't annoy you then you can just destroy the original pillar! Works great! Keep doing your great stuff and things!

Sl1p, there's another way for the pillars to not expose their nips after the ceilings are placed. Place a wood pillar halfway through the ceiling. Now very, very carefully place your stone pillar below it. There will be 2 snap points very close to each other, so it's a bit finicky.
Looks awesome Sl1p, maybe build a landing zone for visitors on top of the party room. Just an idea, but it might look better without those ceilings and railings under the bridge unless you have some sort of plan to use it for future build of some kind

@Slipg8r - There is a way to get rid of the knobs from the pillars, just build another pillar on top and the destroy it and you will have a smooth surface!

There is a trick where as long as the end ones are supported and the bottom of the floor ceiling tiles are covered none of the 3 middle pillars . So your quetz can fly through it works underwater too if you wanted to build a bridge.

You should extend the new building all through the rock ridge, make it really big and make it your pvp base.
The bridge looks awesome slip, i think it would be cool to add some ramps or sloped roofs underneath sloping down towards the middle to beef it up a bit and make it look a little more sturdy. Hope you are having fun at pax!
Sl1p, to get rid of the pillar stump, you can place a ceiling like normal, but next you put a ceiling on top of the stump, then remove the ceiling under the stump.

Btw slip if u place your pillar halfway through the ceiling (one snap point above nipply bits lol) you can place a second pillar with a second snap point under the above pillar and once u go to the ground you can demolish the topmost one and replace with a pillar that is flush with the ceiling!

Slip you should build elevators you could have one that goes up to your new bridge from the ground and you should build a dino Penn for your giga and brontos the iland you have your taming Penn you can fence in and park them there and have you forgotten that you have a paracer out somewhere
