“You’re not the one with the hammer, right?”
The way he says that line like it’s no big deal is utterly terrifying. He treats killing the guy who nearly killed Thanos in one shot as if he was just a fly he swatted in his living room the day before.
Agreed 😨🫥
Well Talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words.

@@peterwells5947 From the trailers, Kang got that dog in him
@Peter Wells lol he is speaking his actions...does he look like he's was threatening him 🤣
The way Kang said “Have I killed you before?” makes my body get goosebumps. God I can’t wait for this movie.

He literally killed the guy who Thanos struggle to killed. Than its really that easy for Kang to kill Ant-Man.

R u sure?
I'm guessing the helmet is fully cgi. If so then the fact that they tracked it onto jonathans head with it seeming real and making the light look real with it moving too is crazy!
It has to be cgi. Otherwise, that’s gotta be the most painful movie helmet prop ever worn by an actor.
Yeah that thing is clamped way too close to his head not to be CGI, there’d be zero free room
Theyve been doing all the costume in cgi since iron man 2. What they wear on set is only for references.
It's fake dumbxass. Have you ever seen another human like this? No 😂
Calm down. We see this all the time. You must have loved she hulk cgi
I remember a tagline from the first Ant-Man movie "no hammer, no problem". Kang's line about not the one with a hammer reminded me of that.
Yeah, it also had the "No Armor" for Iron Man and the "No Shield" for Cap
Man.. Everyone is comparing themselves to Thor :'D But the fact that Kang killed Thor in some timeline and brushed it off in front of Scott as merely a blending of Avengers together.. holy hell. Even Thanos struggled against the big three and definetly had respect towards them.
That’s how he should go out in this time line. Or he already knows he will :O
Well kang probably had infinity stones so whatever. The avengers could kill kang if it was based off of basic powers
I actually think Thor gave him hell before he went flan and he’s just frontin acting as if he was nothing.
@WIZARDO FF Thor will.
@@Chancel388 Kang doesn't need infinity stones bozo. You'll see 🤫

Have I Killed You Before ?
Now that's what we call a powerful line 💀
lol Great counter to Ant-Man Ego. as if that's suppose to make a difference!!
But what is the point of asking antman that? I mean, if he wouldve killed him, he would be dead and not remember it.

What I like about this scene is how they showed Scott’s levity. In the past he cracks jokes all the time and he claimed that it was his coping mechanism, but we have never actually saw that. But in this scene, you can see how intense everything is, and he cracks a joke while still looking concentrated and nervous, which makes it better than just mindless jokes
No. That's just the mcu now. They put jokes into every situation and doesn't matter the character that does it now. They alllll do it.
And he's obviously tense here too lol
@@mojaeger85 No, it's Scott's character and always has been. Stop whining just because it's now trendy to hate on everything Marvel related.
@@mojaeger85 bruh this is different than L&T, Scott is trying to relate WHO he to his guy as his reputation takes a hit. This wasn't to be funny, it's awkward and shows how miniscule THOR OF ALL AVENGERS was to someone like Kang
Perhaps he may be in denial of this being such a dangerous villain and is using humor to make him think that the situation isn't as bad as he thinks. That's just me lol.
I love that Kang's comments about "have I killed you before" isn't the least bit a brag or an accomplishment to him. Its like an old man trying to remember one of his grandchildren or what he ate for his last meal.

@@30gargyraghunath14 i agree. It was just too much. Would have been a much better scene without the 'similar body type' joke.
The whole Thor reference is unnecessary.
It's like the MCU couldn't go on without 2 seconds without telling the audiences of other MCU characters and Kang can absolutely see Scott NOT carrying a hammer.
@@ThePrinceofHisOwnKingdom i think it was more of a power scale for those who aren’t familiar with the comics. Like “oh i killed the one with hammer (thor) , (who the general audience knows to be a GOD) , but it all blends together after awhile”
The idea that Kang has fought the avengers before in different universes and probably more than once is such a good idea, it raises the stakes high and asks the question that if this guy has fought and killed avengers before…What chance do our avengers have ?
Good question
It'll probably be Kang that fight him

Not only has he fought and killed Avengers before.... he's fought and killed SO MANY different versions of them that he's honestly forgot who they were or what they looked like... its all just blurred together.
By the time the Multiverse Saga reaches it's conclusion, I think Jonathan Majors will be the real star of this entire saga. I almost anticipate he will get as much of an ovation as RDJ and Chris Evans did at the end of Endgame..
I think so as well!! Cuz some version him is gonna be on the avengers side

Yap. As Kang has always been a top 3 in my fav Marvel villains, Majors really nailed it. And what I liked about him is how expressive he is. With his eyes, mannerisms as Kang is just a human.
Jonathan Major's Kang definitely looks like someone straight out of a different universe. His demeanour, attitude, and accent is futuristic and cold type... A man of pure science, and logic, and will resort to sheer violence if threatened his interests. This is going to be an awesome movie.
Great acting here by Majors at 1:08 you can tell how insignificant Kang finds Scott.
Exactly. He simply saw an opportunity and took it. He will settle for Scott.
at 0:30 Kang's stance and facial expression changes to a sarcastic "oh really?" without even saying a word when Scott tells him he made a "big mistake".
Lol I see it
crazy how an antman movie managed to sound more serious than a Thor movie with Gorr the god butcher
Swapping genre's now I guess.
I wouldn't mind if that Thor movie was actually funny and written well.
Kinda like how Tom's Spider-Man started out as one of the most comedic characters in the MCU to one of the most depressed.
Crazy right

I don't really know anything about Kang I haven't seen him in any marvel shows (I think he was in one of the animated ones idk) or read any comics all I have is what my brother has told me. But this scene definitely does a good job at establishing how much of a threat he is the way he talks so casually about killing Thor. The way he struggles to remember also showing he's done this for years. Looking forward to seeing him in action
Like he is gona kill the marketable character LOOOOL

Ohh men I can not wait to see this movie , Jonathan is the just the perfect kang
Love the understated menace Majors is bringing. So relaxed but you know not to trifle with him.
I remember Kang in the comics as being bombastic, but I prefer this more subtle version much more. He doesn’t need to raise his voice to make a point, just his presence and what he says pretty much confirm he’s dangerous
Tbf we haven't see a lot of him, he might be calm here but he's potentially super hammy other times
@@dikastederook6380wow a guess. really devalues what the commentor said…

Also isn't the only Kang. He Who Remains was also very hammy already. So this particular Kang was to contrast with that.
I love that epic entry phrase “you’re an interesting man, Scott Lang”
Scott is the funniest character of the MCU and it makes perfect sense for him to be the first one to see how dangerous Majors’ Kang is going to be. The first two antman movies were straight comedies and I bet the first half is gonna be treated as such so that when they show how bad Kang is it’s gonna mean so much more when Scott stops joking around. CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!
If scott survives this movie then you know that he will get some serious PTSD
iron man 32.0
There's nothing more chilling than a villain who treats something monumental like it's nothing. I love that we're getting a different kind of villain with Kang. Can't wait to see what he's bringing to the table.
RIP THOR 😳
He killed Thor before but Thor is alive now and Thor is now strong enough to beat Kang:😳Kang will be like haven't I killed you 😂
About to see the performance of the year 😠🔥🔥
i like how he kills all the other avengers and without a care in the world he forgets who he has killed.
The signal ant man sends at the end of quantumania is the same as Shang chi
I think it night be. It'd be great way to connect it.
This kang is so different than he who remains and i love how versatile jonathan majors is
"You're an avenger. Have I killed you before?"
Yup. Now I'm terrified
"I called the other avengers"
Wait.. 🤔 is he the one sending that signal in Shang Chi that Wong was talking about?? 😳
We just have to wait and see
He probably just lied to seem intimidating
Could also be a "bluff" to try and worry kang lol
Yes
I’m pretty sure the 10 rings were the ones give out the signal
Kang omg this is awesome he’s literally soo calm
The way he was talking about Thor... I kinda sense he did something to him. It's quite terrifying when a time traveling conqueror bested a god like Thor

These lines are chilling AF 🥶
Have i killed you before? Yoo that line is sinister!
The next 5 years belong to JONATHAN MAJORS. Its crazy to me that he's same age as me. Marvel and Creed with so much on the way!!!
People out here complaining about the movie like they've already seen it. Could be bad, could be great. Judge for yourself... regardless, you still clicked on this video so there is some morsel in your body that has you interested in the film.
I already know it's going to be better then phase 4
Honestly, the fact that he talks about killing Thor like if he took out the trash yesterday or not is worse than if he was bragging. He pretty much dosen't consider killing the AVENGERS worth bragging about.
I like how there is no background sound/music…, makes it all more serious
I STILL think Kang needs to be the one that kills Thor to show that he is really powerful. I hate to see Thor leave but it’s a perfect way to show how strong he is
AAAAAAAAND
It'll be an easier retirement for Chris Hemsworth considering he's tired of playing Thor after the negative feedbacks he's had with Thor4
@@boring6388 He's not necessarily tired of playing Thor, he stated that he's tired of Marvel not respecting his character. I'm sure he's still willing to play Thor if he's actually handled properly.

I'd called the other avengers.
They never replied lol or showed up
What’s really sad is that when he says “I’ve called the other avengers” and then you think about it and that basically isn’t possible because there’s like no avengers team right now all the og’s are gone or off world😭😭
Kang’s costume is on point, man.
Love your profile pic 🤘🔥🔥
I love how his eyes change color with the helmet as well
In my opinion, I feel it's about to get serious real quick and overshadow Phase 4 with a vengeance!!!
Kang has such an intimidating presence. Even him just standing there is unsettling.
he didn't even look at Scott or Cassie until he started speaking calmly it's like he was remembering if he's met or even killed Ant Man before or something a long time ago and is trying to think back because he knows Scott Lang already and Kang sure has a menacing spooky presence all right
good lord kangs helmet is perfection
"They all blur together after a while."
He may as well be talking about the MCU as a whole.
I understand Loki Kang now... he was the fun one. This one is the bad one that the fun one was talking about. Damn!

Kang is gonna carry this movie 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"You're an Avenger, have I killed you before?" shivers down my spine!
"Your not the one with the hammer right?" That's obviously a signing saying that he killed thor before.
Antman: I'm a Avenger
Kang: Are you the one with a hammer
I love he confused him with Thor
"Have I killed you before? They all tend to blur together after awhile." How many times has he killed them?
I love that there isn't any music here
It gives the film a more intense and suspenseful tone, yet I think it wouldn't cust to add some ambient sound.
Kang's helmet at 0:17 makes him resemble Thanos.
Not really, it's just that they're both CG.
"Have I killed you before?"...I was afraid they were gonna remove this line

I'm really loving Kang right now, and Majors is pulling it off nicely. Such a difference between him and Thanos if he's really going to be the next big bad. His "just a man" comment and mannerisms are quite charming. Seeing how he's portrayed actually gives me hope in a possible MCU Dr. Doom.
When antman thinks Avengers have eleminated Thanos and there is no bigger threat than him ,this guy appears and says as if Avengers as some tiny gang which he eleminated like nothing. Ant-Man: "Stop lying to me, you sussy baka!"
There’s something existentially terrifying about the question “have I killed you before?” And I love it.
Holy almighty hell - this may be the single most terrifying exchange I've ever seen. Majors brings a depth to this that is rare, even in serious dramatic films The gravitas in his delivery makes every subsequent sentence more menacing than the last, even as he is guiding the conversation to a more pleasant, cooperative place. If this is any indication of what we can expect from him moving forward, my anticipation level for the rest of the Multiverse Saga just shot through the roof.
Man this is raw asf..the casting as Jonathan majors a African American to be a major villain is going to get a lot of revenue to mcu and open up other roles for African Americans as well...iknow Nathaniel Richards was white but the centuries was wayyyy apart from each other..and trust marvel is going to connect it

When kang says "your not the one with hammer??" Makes it sound like he thinks that Thor is a threat to kang and his plans
Except Thor doesn't have the hammer anymore. Storm Breaker is a giant battle axe. Kang is either talking about Captain America or Lady Thor from Love and Thunder
I reckon that “call” to the avengers is the beacon emitting from the rings in the Shangchi movie
Really like the chemistry of serious and funny dialogues
