Thanks Ralph for your motivating comment! Same as you, when I got back to the hobby, I really enjoyed watching the youtube videos! Thanks for your support!!!
Just noticed, commenting for the giveaway is already an option! Well, my all time favorite model has to be a crappy italeri 1/72 f-16. I built that f-16 kit as a child, and I had such an amazing time with it. The f-16 was my all time favorite aircraft. As soon as I got the kit, I rushed straight to my great grandmothers living room table, against the better advice of them adults, and super glued all my fingers together, of course. Needless to say, the finished model was not good at all. You see, I was one determined child, and I wouldnt give up on my dream model plane so easily. I somehow convinced my parents to get me another one of those f-16s, they did. The second build came out much better, I even airbrush painted the thing, man, was I proud of the complete aircraft. Unfurtunately the f-16 crash landed after my father bumped on it, and got ruined. To this day I still have its remains. And my conclusion when I use my grown up eyes to look at it? it was another crappy build after all. But yeah, its all about those sweet memories. ( I just got back to the hobby, and am on my way to finishing my first serious build. I got a little too pretentious with the kit complexity that I chose to undertake, but its been a nice learning curve)
:D the same here, my first kit was an italeri fa-18, glued together with sticky tape and torn out of the sprues by twisting the parts :D didn't knew back then what superglue or plastic glue is and that airbrushing is a thing :D ah... sweet memories... I think as a first kit to get back into the hobby, chose one who you like to build, so you see, where your level is and what you like to do and where your strength and weaknesses are. Thanks a lot for sharing!!! And good luck for the Giveaway!!!

Great work as always. Very cool 😎. This is my favourite model, together with any of the 190s. I very much like ww2 German aircrafts as that have most vivid color schemes. At first I was afraid that you are going to overdone the weathering, but the final result was just great. Looking forward to more updates😀
The Eduard kits are just a joy to build!!! And the RLM colors are just my favourite ones... I know what you mean, adding contrast can look very bad in the early stages. But if you go lightly the work you've done won't be visible in the end. Thanks for your patience :) Good luck in the give-away!!!

i like all your videos to be honest i subscribed when i saw your do-335 because i was making the same and when iwas searching around i saw your videos that had been posted only few days before ....it was great inspiration !
It’s got to be the Eduard Bf 109 family?......All of them, simply sublime engineering and a multitude of schemes....still a Kurfurst and a G 12 (hopefully) to come?
currently going to build a F-104J Eikó 1/48 scale. The model is from Hasegawa (my favorite so far), but reboxed by Eduard (funnily enough), and has some nice little bonus extras. I built the original Hasegawa model some time ago, but through a house move, I ended up losing it sadly. That said, Now I get to build it again, in a limited edition form :D
Hi Leon I want to ask you when you paint and weather are you looking for all out realism or do you want to craft you own design? Which is more important to you? Cheers...👍
Hey Was Rio, this is an interesting question and I think this separates the modelling community in half... I'm always going for a more artistic approach, because I don't spend too much time looking for references and details, so my builds aren't accurate at all. Because my focus is on painting and weathering my models, I like to do this the most. And I'm always drawn to eye-appealing models, this could be a blueish panzer-grey or a very weathered Zero. So I understand if a rivet-fan can't tune in to my videos. On what is your focus?
I don't really have a favourite kit. Doing the Tamiya 1:48 Zero fighter, and loving it! Anything that is WW2 is probably one of my favourite eras to build and research. One could always do with more Mr Colour...
Perhaps your can share the video with your boss and you could get him into the hobby 😂😂😂 got this kit in my stash too and it looks really attractive!!!

Great channel! My favorites model is German 18 Ton Heavy Half-Track Famo and Tank Transporter Sd.Ah.116 with something on it.
Finally someone with a softskin armour :) Thanks for your support and good luck in the give-away!!!
Love your videos ! And Gotta say my all time favorite kit to build is the Eduard p51d mustang !
Thanks for your support!!! The P51 from Eduard is high up on my list!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
Very informative, I'm just back into scale modeling this past year. Tried hairspray chipping , panel lines ,pastels and weathering pencils. Going to try pre shading and oil paints on my next build.
That is the way to go, when you get back into modeling. The hobby has really evolved and you should try, which technique you like most... Good luck in the give-away!!!
Amazing work as always, the video is very well shot and the explanations clear and concise. Many thanks for sharing. Favorite(s): Tamiya 1/48 F-14 A & D and Eduard 1/48 F6F Hellcat - I hope it's OK if I mention two? :-) Best regards!
Hey Manos, I couldn't specify on one kit either :) Thanks a lot for your motivating comment and your support!!!
All time favorite? It's either the tamiya do335 or dragons 35th panther g late.
The Tamiya Do335 is a great kit. No issues in fitting. And the model is bigger than imagined... Good luck in the give-away!!!
Congratulations Leon perfect like always! My favourite model is F-18 I have 4 finished and 2 to build at the future 😁😁😁😁

Really love your videos!! Your narration is very good with lots of information as to why you do certain things. Look forward to these every week!
My favorite kit would have to be the Accurate Miniatures F3F-1/2 boxing
Great detail, fit and subject. Followed closely by the Tamiya F4F-4 Wildcat
Thanks for your Support Kevin on almost every Video!!! That is very motivating!!!
@@AirandGroundinScale There are tons of airplane model making videos available to watch, however there are only 2 channels that I feel are worth my time to watch religiously. Your channel and Plasmo's.
Thank YOU for making great videos and I will watch every one.
Also thank you for taking the time to reply!
@@kevinhedrich6026 :) I feel honored!!! Have a great easter-weekend!!!
Keep on with these nice videos! My favourite model is the spitfire mk XVI from tamiya in 1/32 scale.
Thank you Josue for tuning in! Tamiya is just a nice brand!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
Love your videos my favorite model is probably the dragon 1/35 panther g with zimmerit. Alot of fun to build
Hey Phil! The first person mentioning a tank!!! I built it a few years ago, but without zimmerit. I liked it to!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
All time favourite kit, Tamiya 1/25 Centurion with full interior 👍
The Centurion is a beautiful tank... I'd like to the swiss version once... :) Good luck in the give-away!!!
Cheers!
Hmmm, hard q. I think all time favorite could be zvezda 1/35 T-34-85 - first gifted kit from my Girldfriend :)
The pressure is high to get the best out of kits you get as presents. Especially when it's from your GF :D Thanks for the comment!!! Good luck for the Giveaway!!!
Great videos.... And my favorite model is the Hasegawa F-4 Phantom series
Hey Gene, Hasegawa one of the best Brands... Thanks for the comment and good luck for the Giveaway!!!
I am currently building Su-27 1/48 from Hobby Boss and this is indisputably my favourite model. I love soviet jet fighters. I hope you will build one :)
There's always a very nice soviet jet on the social media. I love the weathering of the colors!!! I'm certain to build one in the near future!!! Good luch with the give-away!!!
i like all your videos to be honest i subscribed when i saw your do-335 because i was making the same and when iwas searching around i saw your videos that had been posted only few days before ....it was great inspiration !
Your comment is very motivating!!! I hope you could learn from my mistakes on the Do335 and had as much fun as I did with the Pfeil... :)
Love the weathering on the Focke-Wulf!
Thanks a lot for tuning in!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
@@AirandGroundinScale thanks
My favorits are the IBG 1/72 Hungarian tank Turán based kits(so all 3 version and the 3 Zrínyi)
Something a little bit exotic, I have to check it out!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
It’s got to be the Eduard Bf 109 family?......All of them, simply sublime engineering and a multitude of schemes....still a Kurfurst and a G 12 (hopefully) to come?
Love to the Bf 109 family :) Thanks for tuning in Alex!!!
Probably the Tamiya p-51 1/32
Good job 👍!!! My favorite is T-34 from zvezda!
Thanks ghost!!! The T-34, a classic!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
currently going to build a F-104J Eikó 1/48 scale.
Hey Latent Axis! I like how Edurad does reboxing and add some nice stuff with it and sometimes some really nice paint schemes...
@@AirandGroundinScale I agree, and their resin detailing kits are in my opinion really great as well, specially if they're made for their own kits!
My altime favourite kit is the Tamiya Do 335 anteater singel seater ;)
:) I prefer the two-seater, but that's just a detail :) Good luck in the give-away!!!
Thanks!
My favourite model is sherman with 76mm barell from RFM
Dear Mr. Pdolny congratulations, you are a winner of a Give-Away-Prize!!! Please contact me at airandgroundinscale@gmail.com Thanks!!!
Thanks for the giveaway!! My favorite build of all time is the eduard 1/72 hellcat. I really enjoyed that build.
An aircraft in 1/72 is still on my to-do-list. A Hellcat would be a nice option. Good luck for the Giveaway!!!
Great job !!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you for tuning in!
The tamiya p-38 is a great kit
great channel! favourite building would be the Tamiya 1/48 P-47
Thank you for your support!!! Tamiya is a very nice brand and I can imagine the P-47 is just solid! Good luck in the give-away!!!
Hello! What is the diameter of your airbrush's nozzle?
I use 0.15 mm for the fine work and 0.3 mm for base coats and stuff
hope to win the bf-109
The Tamiya P-51D! Build 3 of them
Three Tamiya P51D?! That's a lot. I would like to try the Eduard kit, because it already has rivets... Good luck in the give-away!!!
Dear Mr. de van der Lindes, you won one of the Give-Away-Prizes. Please contact me at airandgroundinscale@gmail.com Thanks!!!
All time favourite kit Meng Terminator :)
Interesting choice :) I love the modern digital camos!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
@@AirandGroundinScale Of course each to their own. I do like to capture the realism of references myself. This makes it a real challenge.
Congrats with 1K! Please don't include me in the competition though, I have far too many kits I still need to finish haha!
:D Thanks a lot!!! One kit more or less doesn't hurt :D
Oh yes
:D
Nice dear, stay connect 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for tuning in Tomar!!!
Wonder if work will notice me watching this when it first launches?
I don't really have a favourite kit. Doing the Tamiya 1:48 Zero fighter, and loving it! Anything that is WW2 is probably one of my favourite eras to build and research.
One could always do with more Mr Colour...
Perhaps your can share the video with your boss and you could get him into the hobby 😂😂😂 got this kit in my stash too and it looks really attractive!!!
@@AirandGroundinScale ended up being an hour earlier than expected (work VPN goes through a state that's 1 hr different). Of all the giveaways, definitely the P47 would be my pick of the bunch!
I really enjoy watching and learning from your techniques and you know how much I love weathered wheel wells!
Am I late for the party?
My all time favorite build is trumpeter kv2 1/35
No, you're not :) I am late for the party... took ages for a new episode... I hope I did justice to your all time favourite model!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
Edward 1/48 me 109 k4
Super awesome video as always :) BIG motivation!
My favorite kit that I never have done is a German Tiger. They say that you are not a modeler until you have build a Tiger 😆 maby I have the courage to try it out.
Happy modeling!
:) I'm not a real modeler then :) My Tiger became a shelf queen, have to finish it :) Go for it Sebastian!!! Good luck in the give-away!!!
