+LordUzaki Nothing odd. Some time i go to the same restaurant 3-4 times a week. If foods good and you can chose them from big menu why change them. (i'm from italy what's common here can be weird in another country)

I'm not easily star-struck but I would definitely have a meltdown if I passed Gordon on the Street :D it's not just about their acting in movie's/songs/tv/whatever they are famous for, if they really seem like (and often confirmed online) a genuinely good person under the act/show/whatev it just makes it just makes me happy. I'd actually love to be in a restaurant with these types of adorable old people. I love spending time with old people in general. I lost both my Grandmas, whom I spent a lot of time with as a kid, decades ago and I like the familiar comfort of being around the silver haired set, like I'm a kid again.

As an older guy it’s both funny and uncomfortable listening to chef mocking the clientele. I never want to totter into a restaurant at 4:30 to eat cheap food. But, you know, these people are survivors. They got old by not dying young. Most are probably on a fixed income and awaken at dawn. In this context the decision to eat cheaply and early makes sense. As someone said, growing old is not for sissies!

Gordon is savage against a mostly elderly clientele because he knows (as many understand) that it's a clientele that will make you little to no profit - if not a loss. Appealing to younger people means they spend more, buy drinks, etc.

A good deal of the clients at the diner i work at are on the older side. Mostly people who live in the housing district next door and they often walk over to the diner. A few even come over two or three times a day!
