    A tip. If you have a clogged surface tip, carry extra sets that are also pre wrapped with Teflon, so you aren't wasting time cleaning the bad tip out. Just replace it with a good set so you can get back to work as fast as possible. Then, put the bad set in a bag and clean them at home for next time.

    One thing I do for getting rid of extra water (Weight) is I shutoff my house water supply before I do my final rinse/post treat. Some customers might not like seeing you discharge the water they're paying for down the sewer vs using it to clean, if that makes sense. Overall, great content!

    Just some advice. When you park at the job keep the car and trailer tires out of the gutter area that you know you have to pressure wash. Also there is no need to use a wand and edge out the driveway and sidewalks. Just put surface cleaner right up to the edge and it will clean it. You can always touch up any spots with the ball valve when you rinse. Last thing would be to have all your hose on one side of the driveway and work away from it so it will always be behind where you clean and not in the way of the surface cleaner. Just things I’ve learned which people can use to be more efficient. Two car driveway like these would be $200 where I’m at. Tampa area.

    For me, I have had to use 3+% for my pre\post treats. Specifically the post. Maybe the algea here in Illinois is built different...lol. Audio wasn't horrible, sure in a couple spots not great but your message came through regardless.

    • @joeallenpressurewashing

      Good deal buddy, I post treat with 1% DS, then go around with a spray bottle that has 5% in it and it self spreads as long as the concrete is still wet.
      Learned that technique from a dude that’s been doing it for 10+ years. It takes a little more time but can make the SH stretch a lot further.

    • @joeallenpressurewashing
      @joeallenpressurewashing  3 месяца назад

      $400 would make sense in upper middle class neighborhoods with decent sized driveways. It’s kind of knowing your area/demographics.

    What surface cleaner do you use? I bought mine before actually doing the research and figured bigger was better, i currently have a 24in with a 2.5g and now know its way too big because i tiger striped my own driveway lol. Would also love to see how your downstream injector system is set up, i've been toying with a few different ideas, i'm wanting to make something hard lined and permanent when i go to make it. Great work on the vid and great tips, only suggestion would be to keep some pipe cleaners and welding tip cleaners in a little ammo box for when those tips get stopped up!

    • @joeallenpressurewashing
      @joeallenpressurewashing  3 месяца назад

      You need a 14” surface cleaner. Also, if you post treat the concrete with 3%-5% SH, it’s pretty good about getting rid of the stripes.
      DS is simple. It’s connected with QC’s, siphon tube is a drop stick with filter at the end. Drop it into straight SH (10.5%). Add a little surfactant in with the SH

    would you say that lowering you price for more sales or having high prices and less sales is better in the long run?

    • @joeallenpressurewashing
      @joeallenpressurewashing  3 месяца назад +1

      Depends on volume of leads. The higher volume of leads, the higher you can raise prices. I lower my prices when times are slower, and when I’m cold prospecting. Pricing is something I’m not super consistent with and need to systematize.
