Mr Allen i suggest if you will turn all your fittings around to have your ball valve around the other way where the male is rinsing then the female quick connect you will rinse more through but most of all it will not keep blowing rubber rings to replace. I had an issue for a while where I had to keep replacing them because it kept messing them up about every 10 washes . I turned all my ball valves the other way and it hasn’t happened since . Just dropping a little fyi. 👍
I had a ryobi 1.2 and have done 3 houses with just soap and turned out nice. I just purchased a 2.5 gpm 3000 psi for 150.00 new electric. 2 houses later i am purchasing a few extras. I just do the houses because I got bored. Retired and needed something to do. Easy money for fishing and golf.
Overrated? Id say completely underrated. This is IMO the best nozzle in our industry.
Paired with the DST its perfect.
You are so transparent and truthful! That expensive equipment is not needed!
I would recommend property protection. Taping off outlets, ring cameras, maybe plastic hair nets around security cames you can reach by foot and internet boxes and hvac electrical box. Customer's really appreciate that extra added value to insure no damage is done. Im new in business as well and cant say how many times a Customer appreciates property protection. Keep grinding man. Austin Davis put together a very affordable program as well. To learn about marketing, equipment and in depth with a business. Highly recommend and also comes with a Facebook group for members only.

We dont tape anything off unless it looks sketchy brother use your judgment the more you do the better you will be able to tell what needs to be covered or not ....once you get busy taping every outlet and whatnot wont be realistic ....also beware of what you put tape on you can do more damage than good

Good video big guy ....post hole digger and a sludge sucker for those low spots take one chunk on the lowest point suck water out then replace chunk of dirt
You can always use a leaf blower for them puddles 🤘

@@joeallenpressurewashing I started on used equipment, I agree to an extent. After a few months of issue with my 2 used machines i bought a brand new 5.5gpm belt drive machine for $1750 shipped. 4 years later I'm just taking it off my flatbed original everything. Now I have a 18.5gpm machine. I definitely wouldn't buy used soft wash equipment. BTW yes M5 is amazing. Also man start taping them outlets and door handles where the key goes. Always looks good to go above and beyond.

Use a pressure tip and blast that water off the driveway into the yard there is no excuse to not get that off the driveway water will try up and that stretch of driveway will be dirty
Hi Joe, are you concerned about protecting the plants and grass more? Good video.
I am concerned around more frail and sensitive plants. Grass not so much. I put way more water of the grass than chemical. I rinse a ton.
Like the twist... That being said keep the spray pattern wide and still stand back a little, as it puts out more pressure than a soft wash gun.
Your gaining momentum, leaving for a week will slow it down a little maybe run a FB ad while your gone..
Doing a digital estimate is not as good as in person, but at least your going to the property to see it. That's what I do. I just tell them, I'll stop by in a day or two and look it over and get back to you via email/FB or however they contacted me. Then I tell them so Please let you neighbors know if they see a weirdo in your back yard it's just me.... Or something like that to kind of break down the wall a little.
It lets them know I'll be there and that they don't need to be there and I realize that people may see me be watching me, so no funny business....

tell us how to mix SH in a five gallon bucket with surfactant?
I don’t mix it anymore. I put my suction hose into straight 10.5% SH. Haven’t been using surfactant either, but I’m probably going to start using it again.

Hey joe, i like this set up. I don't have a buffer tank and was wondering how you switch from soap back to rinse with the m5 twist? Do you have to go back to the truck to pull out the injector, or does adjusting the m5 spray pattern pull the soap that way?
I always go back to my trailer and pull the drop stick out of the chemical container. Thanks for watching 😄

whats the best way to pressure wash vynl siding without a down stream or xjet? is there a better option for a nozzle on the end of a pressure washer?
Downstream is the best. You can use a pump sprayer if you don’t have that.
are you going to bypass to a buffer tank?
I need to for sure! I’m getting a trailer soon, so I will be doing a buffer tank most likely!

what psi are you running surface cleaner?

can you tell me what dilution you used to hit that green patch at he bottom of the wall?
House mix via Downstreaming, then I went back with spray bottle with about 4% in it.

Seems like rinsing with a ball valve when you don’t have the volume seems slow with the 4 gallon. Would using the gun to increase pressure be better? Any thoughts?
4 GPM is plenty to rinse ball valve or gun. Anything under 3 GPM would be a dramatic difference in “rinse time”
I’ve rinsed with both. Mostly just rinse with the m5. Compared to a 2.5gpm, it’s a monster. Which I’m sure is the same when you step up to a 5.5 or 8.
It works well for me now. I’m not too concerned with being the fastest washer, just want to do the best job possible.
Increasing pressure with a pressure nozzle decreases the flow. Less pressure at the nozzle means more water, and it also allows the water to pool up and carry the mud away. Whereas high pressure can mean it just bounces off the surface. Took me a long time and a lot of wasted hours to figure that one out.

Would a small wet vac and a separate barrel for “dirty water” be useful when there are large dips like that? It would look more professional not leaving the customers drive way with puddles. Just my opinion.
Not a bad idea. I’ve seen different things I would consider using. There is an attachment you and put at the end of the gun that is like a sludge pump.
Yeah just a thought. It’s probably not too common for giant puddles to form but for the 1/20 houses it would be nice. Especially if they have pets or children. Safety is a huge +

I’ve been doing this for years and have always debated getting a sludge sucker for muddy puddles in low spots. But I’ve been able to get away with a turbo nozzle and blow it out in the yard. If the puddle is large enough it will take a few passes and some extra time but it has always worked as a turbo nozzle works great at moving large puddles. I use a 5.5gpm which might help a bit more than a 4
