15 August 1947 is been chosen because Japan Surrender on 15 August and British want to commemorate this Date for rest of the history ‼️

The power transfer of India was choosen on 15 August 1947 because Japan was lose world war 2 and INA surrender. Louis Mountbatten was ordered destroy INA war memorial therefore Mountbatten was chosen the date for Power transfer day on 15 August 1947 to demoralise the people of India.
