Not sure how long it will be on the site for this price, but Walmart has it for $69.99 www.walmart.com/ip/My-Arcade-DGUNL-3226-NAMCO-Museum-Mini-Player/798148731
Thankfully I live in Europe, so I only have to pay what equates $200 plus shipping from an amazon 3rd party seller. Life is great :-)
6:38 gotta love Mappy. It's my favorite arcade game.
Same, Mappy is a really amazing and addictive Arcade game :)
Who doesn't love MAPPY? I have both versions of MAPPY, the Arcade Rom and the Famicom version and both are addictive, but the Arcade version is much harder.
Philip Defibaugh I have that game
Stretched mode looks awful. They should have used a bigger screen and just bezeled off the unused areas.
How do you figure it looks awful? Pac-Man galaxian galaga dig dug those games and others on this thing are meant to be on a screen like that
@@sabbathtribute Those games are 3:4 aspect, this screen is more like 2:4 aspect and it looks wrong - it's too stretched vertically.
A rotating screen would have been better.
@@sabbathtribute agreed, stretched looks very good to me
@@timhaskett1733what?
Nice end up to the point review!
I own several of the dedicated my arcade games but I just might have to add this to the
Collection. I'm glad that after the actual arcade ROMs and not NES ROMs.
Whats the difference between arcade roms and nes roms?
@@CupheadCL The arcade ROM is the original game.
The NES ROM was created for the console.
It's pretty good but definitely there are differences between it and the arcade ROM.
Usually conversions to consoles had lower graphic quality compared to the original arcade versions.
I really want one of these especially for the variety of games that it contains on it
And the overall design of it
Looks especially amazing I own the my arcade versions of Ms Pac-Man and regular Pac-Man so this will make for a worthwhile addition to my collection of Pac-Man merchandise even though this unit contains more then just Pac-Man titles on it what really surprises me is that Pac-Man 2 the new adventures is one of included games on this particular unit
I wonder what version of the game this unit uses ? Also nice to hear that in terms of the arcade tiles included on this unit they all sound accurate to how the actual arcade machines sounded
Witch is definitely a good thing
Thanks. Not saving high scores sounds like a deal breaker. The micro-arcade versions from My-Arcade seem to save high scores, but they take batteries and are only single game options. I bought the Namco Museum app for the Switch, but the novelty of little arcades seemed cool.
Yeah but what sux more is that the score resets regardless wether you press the reset button or not.
@@flamerodbarrel1311 I forgot about this video/thread. I since received one as a present. It's cool, and a love it... but I re-learned that it didn't save high score and wasn't happy. LOL.
They're still cool though. Might get the collection anyway if I get them cheap enough. I have a spare shelf where they would sit just nicely.
@@kirkfletcher6028 Nice!
Splatterhouse deserved it's own mini arcade cabinet with the 3 or 4 classic games on a proper 4:3 screen, having to play those games with such limitations on the aspect ratio it's a bit of a deal breaker 😢
Great review, thanks for going through all the games ❤
I have one. The audio and video emulation are excellent, the speakers are nice and loud, and the display looks great. To me, the weakest point is the controller. A dpad with a joystick screwed in just isn't very comfortable or precise, especially for a game like pacman. Perhaps someone will come up with a way to mod it with a better joystick.
Agreed! The crappy reaction on the joystick really rings the fun!!!
High scores are not saved either.
The fact that this includes Pac-Man 2 The New Adventure is so bizarre, I love it
Underrated game IMO.
I played it on super Nintendo it's kinda hard to get used to
But putting it on a arcade feels...odd and the strechscreen setting is well.....Shit
Maybe myarcade Loves to Port console games in these arcades
I really think there would have been better choices instead of this mediocre SNES/Genesis game: Gaplus, Galaga'88, Rally-X, Bosconian, Pac-Land, Metro-Cross, Motos... just to name a few. I understand that they couldn't add Pole Position or Final Lap because of the controllers.
Thanks for being a thorough reviewer; the way I like it. Subscribed.
That's it, then. I'm sold!
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you for that, I appreciate your kind words!
This looks nice given that the bulk of the games are the arcade roms mixed with Genesis roms (Rolling Thunder 3, Splatterhouse, Pac-Man 2, and Pac-Attack,)
Notice how control console actually has references to Dig Dug and Galaxian and Pac Man is the Bezel art.
One of the Splatterhouse games features a Satanic scene lol.
Great video! But I really don't understand why you prefer the stretched mode. It makes the rolling thunder dude look like slenderman. I don't get why they would use this weird vertical screen if most of the games are in 4:3 retio. But whatever... to each his own, I guess ^^
some games look better stretched.
they don't make small 4:3 LCD screens either.

@@negative1723 No games look better stretched, they were designed with a specific aspect ratio in mind. Stretching 4:3 games to whatever that silly screen is, is just wrong.
lovely content
I'm the age 12 and I'm not scared.
Dig dug looks so cute
Good vid.. But I think I'll stick with MAME. If the price were something like half, I might mite... But now $102 on Amazon... I'll pass.... Thanks for the Vid...! appreciate it...
I wonder why in this myarcade cabinet you could actually play the original arcade namco games but in previous myarcade ports like pac-man,ms pac-man,galaga,and mappy you have to play the nes ports of them?
Y'know, the stretched full-screen of the vertical games don't look too bad, but the horizontal games...yeah. Don't bother stretching.
Picked this up for 30 bucks super happy!
Nice find, great price for all the games it comes with!
It's just weird that they included landscape/4:3 games on a 3:4 only unity. ... Stretched a lot. At least some games looks the real arcade versions, right ?
wow it has pacman 2, weird choice but ok, might actually get it now.
Because they put a lot of genesis games on there. to add to the theme.

I don't like the stretch mode, everything is distorted. I don't know why they did not use a 2:3 screen.
That controller is pure torture. However, there's a hack, so now you can play all kinds of arcade games uncomfortably, instead of just Namco's!
The sad part about this is that 2/3 of the games on here are ones I’ve either never heard of, or don’t like. I’m here for the most part for Mappy.
I'm here for Mappy, Galaga, Pac-Man, and Xevious. Four games is good enough for me to buy it. Especially considering if I get those games on individual my arcade machines it would cost more then this.
I like the screen.
Was there a single game that fit the aspect ratio of the screen???
The only reason ms Pac-Man isn’t included is because Nampo does not own it
As far as I know, Bandai Namco is npw owning the rights for Ms. Pac-Man (initially it was owned by General Computer Corporation and Midway).
Nice
I wish you could plug this into your TV instead, its got a great selection of games but the screen and the controls could be better.
My Arcade Gaming website has a few other products, including a retro gaming system... don't think it includes namco titles, though. There might be other options for that.
If you have a Nintendo Switch, you can buy the Namco Museum app, and then play that as either handheld, tabletop or on TV. I bought a switch just for retro gaming. Nintendo also have bundles to play all the NES and Super NES games. In terms of retro gaming, the Switch is actually pretty good value.
It's fantastic!!!!
Very cool arcade, like kidding a normal arcade
7:02 Pacman is so loud and great
7:03
Are these the Arcades versions of the games or the Nes version ?
Most of these games, if not all, are the arcade versions..
@@GRayDefender thanks for letting me know. Keep up the great work on the great videos.
Mine doesn't go past the Namco Museum logo screen...
Good
The plug in mine won't keep a connection at the game. Do you have anybide how to fix, or number to call the company?
company don't have an e-mail?
These look like emulated nes games not arcade. Just like their little machines.
Most games on here are in fact 100% arcade ROMS. I know because I just purchased one of these machines yesterday. Now, I say most as a few of them were never released in the arcades at all and those games are...Pac Man 2 The New Adventures (Genesis...I think), Rolling Thunder 3 (Genesis), and Splatter House 2 (Genesis). This mini cabinet is very nice and is headed for my desk at work on Monday.
Addendum- I grew up playing these games in the arcade in the 1980's and 1990's. Not only can you tell these are arcade games by their incredible graphics (for the time) but their sound is also well beyond what even the 16-bit machines did in many cases. Phelios for example features full rotation, scaling, sprite warping, and 0 slowdown. The fully functional coin button is also a dead give away that these are not Nes ROMS.
@@Sinn0100 Great reply thanks! I'm definitely going to buy one after that thanks
@@mark_omega
You're welcome my friend and I hope you enjoy it.
All of the games included except pac attack and pac man 2 the new adventures and a few others are the arcade versions.
I LOVE PAC MAN, PAC MANIA, MAPPY, GALAXIAN AND SPLATTERHOUSE! :)
8:05 WHERE IS PACMANIA'S INTRO BASS
cool!!
Pac-Man (16bit) and Pac-JR (16 bit) original games, are both
hidden games in Pac-Man 2 via a code.

i offered this to my nephew for christmas but the button "coin" didn't work. only the possibility to play 4/20 games because of problems with coin. is there is someone who did the same with that ?
So if my mother won't let me get the Midway arcade1up legacy edition 12 in 1 I get 11 mini arcade cabinet from my arcade.👍🙂😃😀😄
I have almost all of there arcade's love them no problems whatsoever best mini arcade for you money but they need to make 720 skate game and when is contra coming out seen it at a tech show
What games are presented at native resolution? I mean, considering both available formats, 1 one them shows each game at native resolution in all cases? Thanks!
Kinda late answer, but I believe the back of the box that shows all the titles it includes, shows their native resolutions so you can use that as a guide.
costs over $200 here in Sweden.. too expensive.
4:35 gaming montage
I have a question...how do you get Galaga in two player mode? I e done it one time on accident I dont know what order I mashed the buttons In after i had died and game was over i was just frustrated and wanted to get back to killing and then Walla 2 player mode. I lost the manual and I remember seeing something about 2 player modes for some of the games in it like how to make it 2 plyer
Mine is currently packed away, but at a minimum you will have to have at least two credits in order to play two player games.
Okay nine months later are you still playing this?
Has the joystick control held up?
Has it been 9 months? Wow... I haven't played it much since the review. It's in great condition still in the box.. Thanks for watching!
Hi! Where did you bought it?
I bought mine from Target... Thanks for watching!
this et add a mini neogeo arcade, the arcade Namco is verry pretty
Does this have Pole Position
0:28
Unfortunately, they cannot put Pole Position due to billboards such as Marlboro and Martini. And no racing wheel support. So the only way to play Pole Position 1 and 2 are in Namco Museum Volumes 1 and 3 on PS1 with the racing wheel.
Your version of Rolling Thunder looks to be running WAY smoother than on my unit. Maybe looks different when filmed?
The other pacman games they could Port they just Port a console game....They could just Port Ms pacman
Yeah I got one and it doesn't turn on. Any suggestions? I plug it in and the marquee turns on for a second then turns off. When I hit the power button nothing happens.
Could be a power issue. You might try a different USB power adapter if you can.
@@GRayDefender that's weird. So the USB adapter that came with it could be the problem? I will give it a try.
@@crazyoldschool6342 did it work?
@@jasonlee7816 no. It never worked so I returned it.
@@crazyoldschool6342 you're right that is weird USB power adapters should be standard voltage.
It's still £119.99 in argos as of 11/09/2020.:(
I like it but he's saying $70 is too much so £120 really worth it?
My local target still has for 110.00 I'm surprised the price hasn't gone down since no one cares about it.

It's $129.99 here @.@ unless you buy online but it's sold out online.
Is it wired or wireless? I have it and I can’t seem to figure it out because every time I unplug it it goes blank

This channel is family friendly and there is no swearing. Having said that this channel is not geared toward children but rather toward adults. Thanks for watching!
@@GRayDefender I like it.. it's the first video I watched... please forgive me if I came across as arrogant or sarcastic.. that was not my intention ☺☺☺
I heard you describing the arcade cabinet as not being full sized.... The way you phrased it sounded like the differnce between
this and a real size cabinet was.. close but no cigar 😂😂😂
Maybe I miss heard
Why the 16:9 screens on retro hardware??? WHYYYYYY? It makes no God damn sense. It really shows that these people making these are not enthusiasts.
