Excellent podcast. Yes, there's definitely a migration in CO. Going on my 6th year elk hunting. Seems like every year, late October there's a good storm dumping a 1+ feet of snow and I've seen tracks moving down. Honestly, as much as hope and excitement are at a high beginning of the archery season is and I do have a plan, confidence isn't exactly at a high in a day or two. I'm seeing more and more people "getting away" from the road thinking about using more whitetail tactics. I'm starting to think the first week of archery, really putting my time on top of wallows/water and paying attention to escape routes as they get pushed might be my best chance. Last year I heard 1 bull bugle on the second to last day.
Lol, thanks for your input Randy! It was well taken and I hope you get a Moose!
