Nice little comparison. So Alpro changed the format. The chilled is 750ml but the long life is still 1l. Lidl do own protein soya milk special buy in the centre from time to time - 1l for £1 so stock up. The reason why the caps all changed to be attached to the carton is so birds can't get their beak stuck in them (eg at landfill sites etc). That's why you should always cut the ring for the old l style pull out seals.

I did not know that on either, I will definitely keep my eye out on Lidl, I really do wish they would just stock some of this stuff permanently though 🤣 And great shout re why the bottle caps stay on, and yes definitely important to cut the pull cap style for our animal friends 🙏🙏
Truth about soya utube would delete so pointless me saying. It is a super man made hybrid tho. The packets are full of plastic from crude oil so avoid. The best milk and is super cheap is organic creamed coconut. Take some n out into a jug. Put a tiny amount of boiling water n mix till smooth. Then add water preferably clean distilled water. Its super cheap n makes loads.
