Thanks man! Welcome to the Jiu Jitsu journey 🙏 🥋
@@BradleyHill thank you Bradley. I'm getting ready to go to the academy right now. I can't wait to try some moves I learned from your channel. Have a nice weekend!
Enjoy the training!
Youre automatically my favourite BJJ athlete now when u said learn the rules, and not points.
Cheers Hayden!
Here are two white-belt realisations I remember. 1. When kneeling, don't kneel _up;_ keep your centre of mass low. 2. Don't _accept_ sweeps. Beginners tend to think they're supposed to 'go with the flow' constantly. Wrong. Just don't let them sweep you.
That took me a long time to realize: I would tend to get in a bad position and just give up. Like of my partner setup the armbar, I would just start extending my arm as of he already got the sub. I started to notice too that instead of defending, I would start prepping my tap hand. We called it "pre-tapping" when the hand starts to float up in the air because you know the attack is about to lock down.
I'd call that a "training scar". Took a long time to heal.
Great tips
Not today, good sir! That right there is proper!!
Quality video 🤙🏻
This video is gold
This channel is gold! I subbed just based off a few shorts I seen.
Appreciate it guys!! More to come
Amazing.
Love ypur channel dude 👊🤙🤙🤙

Love the way you explain and the way you joke. Please post more videos for white belts.
This as a completely badass video
Thanks great video, just encountered your channel, subscribed. Nicely surprised an English bjj channel to represent training.
Subscribed! Great content, rolling tonight and definately going to try pass the guard with what I've learned from this video.
Where do you train? Your accent sounds like you're not a million miles from me
Nice video man 👍
Thanks MVP!
It's so true.
Very good

5:28 You can just grab the sleeve and stand up so he can't do a double ankle sweep? You just blew my mind, good sir. Thanks a lot.
Great video, glad to see humour too, tips are great and transfer over to freestyle wrestling :)
Cheers Sal! Hope you’re well mate

Hey Master, could also teach No Gi? Pls. I don't know much about jujitsu but I need it to learn. I subscribed to you bcz your movements are so smooth and reliable. I just wanted to learn more things in No Gi so that I can use it for street fighting just in case to improve my self defense. 😊 Pls Master.
Youre a funny dude. I enjoy this video.
Dear coach, i havent trained for so long due to lockdown. Cant wait to train again
Me too brother! Will be great to run classes again
@@BradleyHill im your fan from the Netherlands!! Thanks for all the vids coach. Oss!!
More than welcome Walid!
;) thanks!
6:03 ok, I subscribed.
As a super ignorant white belt who’s been gripping w/ all the energy one can muster, I needed to hear that grip tip!
You got it brother! Now you have all that energy to squeeze necks instead 🤣
KRS 1 isn't just a rapper. Look up what the letters stand for. Good video. Thank you
“My neck is slightly breaking” lol
"Do you want to strangle a man or do you want to armbar him?". Both, my friend.... both.
🙏 Namastê Thankyou guys

10:50, when it begins to fail, we need to get out of there and...This critical most important detail that even upperbelts over here dont realize there is no use of keeping it no matter what.
Curious about what you think of the Danaher BJJ flow charts?
Prof Snape is a black belt. Who knew
When to attack in closed guard
Never go full... 100!
Tropic thunder reference? 😂
LoL that's me 😅
❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
So this is what Bond villains do in their spare time.
Was not expecting this guy to sound like Willow
Problem I run into with closed guard is when I try to stand everyone’s
Grab
Lapel and breaks my posture so I can’t stand. I never hear of anyone addressing this on RUclips. One stripe white here.
If a choke is really more accurately a strangle and you can make that adjustment, then surely twisting a throttle so you knuckles rotate over the top of the handlebar is more accurately a decelerating action and one would make the adjustment once made aware of this detail. I don't know why this bothers me so much but it just popped back into my head and I felt the need to vent my frustration at you Bradley. Please be more accurate with your motorcycle analogies 😅😭
I'm going to enjoy your video now praying there's no triggering content 🤣
Clearly I have never rode a motorcycle 🤣🤣
ATM I can only get to two sessions on the mat at my current club which I have been training with for 1 month. If I also do sessions at another club I can fit in 2 extra sessions. Someone said that would be a bad idea as the lineage would be different and the basics would be different. Is this true or just likely to mean 1 club dislikes the other? I don't want other people's ego to be the reason I take twice as long to learn. The classes I attend now are open level so I often feel the concepts are well beyond my ability and I want to train more intensively to bridge that gap. I want time to drill at least the basics to become automatic.
Hey Sharla, my advice would be to get as much training in as possible regardless of club. Usually the teams that discourage cross training are afraid of the competition, so try a few clubs in your area and you might want to do all of your training there or at another academy.
Let me know how you get on!
Bro is funny af
👍👍👍
Can I ask advice for someone with a badknee, I cannot flex my left leg much after a bad army knee surgery, and most positions on bottoms I cannot adequately do. Half guard is ok though.
I cant stand bacl up really after dropping to a knee for doubles and singles anymore
Sure! You’re best adapting your game to your knee. So will be a lot of guard pulls to half guard and working your sweeps from bottom. In the meantime you can strengthen your knee and practice techniques and see which moves you can do comfortably
@@BradleyHill thank you sir. Yeah butterfly is a no go, open guard is a no-go. But i can still use most of my judo throwing techniques successfully
How do I know when to drop my weight
Never knew post malone knew bjj
I still can't believe Danny Mcbride is doing jitz....
Getting a wild Brian Cox vibe here...young Agamemnon....?
he sounds like Gandalf from lord if the rings
