I don’t agree with the analysis on Leviathan. it is not a cash cow now and with the counters available against, why spend relci materials on SA. Mine SA is at R7 and don’t feel the need to move higher with GL Ahsoka now revealing the need for more higher relics. Meathead writes what Product Managers tell him too. So, don’t bash him. Keep the focus on the poor Product Managers who fail to communicate clearly their intentions for 6 months or more.
Additionally, using Mk 6 Interceptor in the starting lineup, you can really defeat faster Sith Fighters with pretty good banners in GAC. I, personally, have R8 Sith Assassin, but using Mk 6, even R9 SAss doesn't beat me.
Great content and thought provoking as always Phil. I think Leviathan’s days are numbered as a money maker. I’m not a spender in this game outside of 3 light speed bundles, but getting Leviathan is in my plans for the fall. I won’t be spending money to upgrade it, I’ll keep it on offence and use it on my opponent’s 3rd fleet until it gets more stars. I think more FTP players like me are not going to be spending money on Leviathan. Perhaps this is one of the reasons CG is starting to push r9 requirements, forcing us to pick and choose and hope we’ll spend to get the other.
