The look on Quill's face when the other Guardians essentially threw him under the bus and nearly made him fight a God... 😆
Star-Lord revealed to Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) that the reason why he never returned to Earth or revisited it after his mother Meredith Quill’s death and being abducted and raised by Yondu and the Ravagers is because he had too many bad memories in that planet including his mother’s death and the pain and trauma he felt after it. But him having to participate in the Battle of Earth alongside the other Marvel superheroes in the Infinity Saga of the MCU (Except Vision, Loki and Black Widow.) between 2014-Thanos, the Black Order and his armies in Avengers: Endgame (2019) forced him to do so. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), Star-Lord after being advised by Mantis to do so and realizing that he could not run away from his horrible past with his mother’s death on Earth any longer Star-Lord returned to Earth and moved into a house in Missouri after leaving the Guardians of the Galaxy making Rocket Racoon its new leader while also reuniting with and reconnecting with his maternal grandparents and maternal uncle who he abandoned on Earth after his mother’s death and being abducted by Yondu and the Ravagers long ago.

A little detail in this scene I think goes unnoticed are the reactions from Rocket in the background. You can tell he's happy that he's got his family back...just a nice little touch that shows how much the writers cared.
How nice that there are people who notice these little details, the detail of Rocket's reactions in the background as he looks at Peter and Thor is great, it's one of my favorite Rocket scenes, he looks happy or rather relieved that he has his family back.
I also noticed he’s having fun watching how they fight

The little detail of Rocket's subtle reactions in the background is amazing, the way Rocket looks at Peter after Thor says "Everybody knows who's in charge" as if he knew that phrase would annoy Peter, right after that Rocket smiles when Peter says "Me, right?" as if he expects a confrontation between Peter and Thor.
Or maybe our dear, cuddly Rocket was just happy to finally get his family back and be together with them in the end.
I can't stop watching this scene to see Rocket's face, you have to admit it's pretty cute.

I was expecting more of the Guardians in Thor: Love and Thunder. Even to the point where I was expecting Thor to be in the Guardians of The Galaxy 3.
James Gunn said he never planned Thor to be in GOTG 3 and wouldn't know what to do with him.

Thor is stronger than the rest of the team combined, so a while movie wouldn’t have worked. With that said, it would’ve been nicer to see more of Thor and the guardians together, at least for the first act of a film.

Completley conjecture...but I think the whole - James Gunn out, the cast threatening to walk out, then Gunn back in - killed the chance for an Asgardians of the Galaxy flick.
The big hitters for the Guardians cast only had motivation for one more flick and Gunn had a specific story he wanted to tell to close out his trilogy.
But, still think a true Thor and Guardians team up would be an epic movie, especially if they can go against a quality villain.

I thought The Asgardians of the galaxy was just a joke till I got the marvel encyclopedia started reading it and found it’s a really thing not just a joke Thor made
