Amazing I haven't picked my clarinet up for 9 years... I used to play in an orchestra and was leader of the orchestra, playing solos (nothing major in my home time)... playing the clarinet was one of the loves of my life and I lost it... just done this tutorial to help start to bring it all back... thank you, thank you, thank you x
Youll be my clarinet teacher from now on. I just bought my first ever clarinet. And i looked at your tutorials. They're very easy to understand. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Hi Steven. I have not played my clarinet in over 30 years. However, I was an excellent player and played in the symphonic band on scholarship for Grambling State University I remember how much I loved playing. I feel like a beginner all over again. Your videos are so awesome and make me remember how much I enjoyed and loved the sound of the clarinet. Thanks again.
Hi Steven, thanks, I shall be 71 in a few days, time to learn clarinet, I like see you are not a conventional rigid teacher, my reason to start following your lessons, in the hope I'm not too old for playing clarinet, once again, thanks
Love it! I’m a musician that just wanted to try out clarinet for fun and lost my patience seeing others’ tutorials of just playing 3 notes - you’re the fastest getting started and now I can play most songs in majors just after your 10 min of tutorial 😏
That was Straigh Up! I am a very very beginner..and have only been going up and down closing all the holes and then just back up...asof yet i havent been exposed to something so straight forward. Thank You!!! I am going to be practicing exactly this ... Will be subscribing. Cheers!
Hi Steven, I'm so pleased I found you! I play the sax but a friend just gave me a clarinet (free!) and I had no idea about the fingering etc. You made it so clear (a great sound to copy too). Thanks, it was fun too. I'll be looking out for more of your lessons now. 🤩
I used to be a top notch clarinet player back in High School...but that was over 40 years ago!! So I just recently bought another clarinet and started learning all over again and this was by far the easiest tutorial on scale notes so far! Subbed! And would I be correct in saying that your clarinet is a Backun?
hiii. please do any of those like design stuff on the clarinet play C? like how you showed us that one of those design lookiing stuff on the clarinet \|( i dont know what those are called?)
Jumping the gun a bit here because I can only play Two sections of Duke Ellington Caravan, but I am desperate to learn how to the Mooche - Even parts of it.
Double your practice time and you will become better faster the more you play it the stronger your fingers and wind will get now just do the work and stay consistent and you will be one of the best Clarinetist :))
The moment I saw him I knew he was the real deal. Great vid
