    I'd like it better if they just made it a kit, so all I have to do is order it and assemble it, they send all the parts and everything that's needed minus the tools.

      I think his approach means he spends time designing new stuff and not managing parts, shipping, returns, defects, third party supplier, logistic issues and so on! But yes, would be easier for the end user 😊

    Would you recommend this kind of build for an absolute newbie when it comes to building electronics?
    I have been considering it could be a really fun side project, but I never delved into soldering, plugging in electronics and the like and I am afraid it may be too complicated for a newbie

    • @SimRacingHubNL
      @SimRacingHubNL  4 месяца назад

      Yeah, you can do this! I am and was a newbie too. Just take your time and read everything carefully. Soldering isn’t that hard in this project. Just make sure you take the PCB board and electronics from their website. I won’t recommend to make the PCB by yourself if you don’t have the experience

    So i'm having trouble with the clutch paddles on mine. I cant seem to get them to function correctly. I.E not being able to adjust bite point and when in joy software, the bar doesnt build up as im pulling the paddle. It acts more like a button. I've switched between the analog and dual paddle mode. Any idea's?

      That's a good question and to be honest I don't have an idea. I think you best can contact PE for support on this!

      3 years ago i did the PE LMP PRO with aluminum parts.I based on a 3D printing model and modeled the back cover, knob, and paddle body for CNC. the CNC cost is very low in China,so it only cost less than $300 to fully assemble them.If u want i can upload the video.😊

      @SimRacingHubNL  6 месяцев назад

      There’s a bill of material list which comes with the diy files. The cheapest way is to buy the electronic parts on AliExpress. The printed files you have to print yourself or via print on demand. The front panel, display, pcb you can buy directly from Pokornyi Engineering ✌🏼

      That's always the hardest part.
      After you have done your research and sorted out everything, you then need to find where you buy them.
      And good luck if you made a mistake or need to go to more than a store.

      That's why DIY kits and ready lists are the way to go in most cases
