I work downtown in a medium sized major city. We're not allowed to use the word homeless at work anymore. They are "unhoused". I have to step over feces, piss and syringes, and be hit up for money and cigarettes 10x to get there everyday at 5am, but calling them homeless could cost me my job that I've had over almost 15yrs.

Lets be honest. Economically speaking, everyone is holding on to whatever asset they have like an old car. The interest rates may be lowered from what they were a couple of months and years ago but its still high. Thats why all the shit cars are up for sale by owner and the good cars are for sale by dealers is because nobody is looking to upgrade or side grade unless they have to. I'm waiting like most of us for a better economy and in my situation I'm looking to refinance my house so i can get the PMI to fall off of my house mortgage which is my first. After that then my desire would be to invest into getting into my desired career by taking a loan for the schooling. Bar none, everyone's desire is a better economy and to support those who promise and will deliver/ have delivered it.

Yes, and the only reason I watched it is because I didn't know it was Alien movie. I don't like unnecessary "world building" movies in established franchises. What I like about these movies is that you get a glimpse into this world, and especially as a kid, your imagination can run wild. When they try and establish stuff, they always seem to make it not as interesting, or ruin a character somehow.

It's also full of (completely valid) critique of the Iraq War because that's the era it's from, and I get that to translate to modern day maybe that should be updated to modern issues, but... it's just so obnoxiously hamfisted and the way it's become the main focus is really killing the show for me.

AWD v6 RAV4 was the fastest vehicle Toyota made at one point. Mine ran a 14.2 in the quarter (yes I actually ran it down the track at Memphis Motorsports). It does NOT have the brakes or suspension to have fun tho, both were lacking.
