brings back many memories of my spotting days at Nottingham station great video thank you for sharing
It's great to see people jumping off trains before they've come to a complete stop. The days when we were all responsible for our own actions.
Cool video.
Wow, how much things have changed, London road lower looks like it still has track and sidings. The road bridge behind eastcroft isn’t there, eastcoft depot isn’t there. Can’t remember there being a second bridge towards the Lincoln end of the station.
What was all that black pipework for over the tracks? Nottingham was my depot from 1999-2013 but it sure looked filthy back then😁
Probably either goods that have fell out of wagons or it's old track and not actually pipes, unless obviously you've seen that they are pipes in which case I haven't a clue
Remember watching peaks taking London trains over lady bay bridge from forest it’s ground.
Finger trouble - city ground!
I great video, things look grubby, i was only 9 then, my local station halifax was old and grubby but more interesting .
Imagine if Victoria had survived into the diesel era as a secondary route.
All that filth, noise and diesel fumes. And the low level station has been turned into a health and fitness suite. Bliss.
