So every time you get into the car I have to plug my phone into the USB. My pandora app keeps disappearing from my app screen after a few days. I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get it back.
I've bought 3 different USB chargers and all of them will only work for about 30 seconds. One of them wouldn't even sync. I have to keep unplugging it and plug in back in over and over. What am I doing wrong?
Do you know why I can't get mine to connect without the USB cable? From everything I read, I should be able to do it. I've only been successful with the cable itself.
It would be nice if Ford Sync would actually connect to your phone via bluetooth. The charging port on my hubby's phone is jacked up and it won't stay connected. We have a 2021 F250, you'd think Ford could come up with a way to do so.
Do know why the small weather icon in the top right corner of the screen will appear when I start my truck in the a.m then later I the afternoon when I start it its gone.I checked all the settings.I have a android phone everything else seems to work OK. I bought a 2018 f150 from a private party.

I got my android phone to connect through bluetooth, but it wouldn't play audio. I got where I was going and when I got ready to leave there, I got it to play audio...for about 5 minutes then it wasn't connected at all and said it couldn't receive a signal from the phone at all. I tried deleting my phone and the two that were already in it when I bought it and it went back to the device screen when I selected yes for delete confirmation, but they're all still there. Is bluetooth not working on my vehicle?

im taking my 2018 f150 XL stx back to the dealership to check out the bluetooth. i've tried 3 different phones apple and android and the bluetooth is choppy and laggy. any videos like youtube or netflix is laggy and out of sync. Tried master resetting and updating via wifi. nothing has helped this at all. pandora works SOMETIMES but most of the time theres a weird skipping sound. others have had issues with it but no solution has come up other then replacing the entire headunit

Also, I was trying to connect Android Auto from my cell phone (Samsung) to the Sync 3 and never connected to the screen. Do I have to connect the phone via USB only or can it work with bluetooth?

Samsung recently pushed through an update that even the Ford technician could not figure out. My car's bluetooth will take phone calls but it no longer allows me to listen to media through my car speakers. No more music, RUclips, or ebooks. I am so angry with SAMSUNG. What can I do?
I really dont like Ford's Adroid Auto Integration. I mean, the navigation that comes with it is good enough, but I'd like to be able to use Android auto a little more easily (IE, via bluetooth). Kind of a big miss for me.
Thanks for the info always thought android auto would connect thru Bluetooth wireless and it doesn't I now use the USB cable and it works great.

On the home screen do you have to leave the navigation showing ? I don't like that and was wondering if I can change it?
You can leave it on any screen you want.

How can you connect android auto wirless through BT or WIFI???
It looks like it isn't possible yet. On My Ford Focus 2018 works only with usb cable.
That only works on select aftermarket stereos right now, and on Pixel devices from Google.
