We spent this last weekend at a post-apocalyptic music and arts festival called Wasteland Weekend, where Mad Max meets BURNING MAN in the best way possible! It turned out to be an entire real life community dedicated to the obsession of anarchy and escaping the real world for a week of living as if the apocalypse has hit. Check out their story!

They're actually is a group that has a bunch of screen accurate Mad Max 2 Lord humongous gang cars as well as the refineries Lone Wolf as well as a couple of screen used Fury Road cars

Coming from an outsider who has never experienced this, I wish you had filmed more!! I really enjoy your videos and this one was kinda short compared to the others ☹️ But still fascinating! 👍🏽 I have kinda watched this movement for years, but never had the guts to join 🤷🏽♀️ Closest I ever got to this experience was going to Xara for a couple years with my Coven, which was a kind of pre-Burning Man party on the top of a mountain. I wanna go. Sounds fun never known something like this was made. I was like man I wanna make something like this. With like a game. Zombies chaceing people and then check who lives. I wanted to make like a little stage for people to get on one at a time to say how they made there costume and stuff like little sections of everything. I think it would be cool.

Granted this is for a 5 day event. but at over 300$ per person, it isn't worth it. There are so many other larps that are out there that are cheaper that don't require you to request vacation time from work. At that price at least you can provide a place to sleep not camping areas.
Are you a absolute lunatic or have you just never gone to an event before burning man is like $1,000 a ticket Coachella starts at like 700 for 2 days 300.00 is nothing for an event this size that is 5 days long especially when you take into account that virtually everything there is free how most people spend 3 to 500.00 just on alcohol for a multiple Day music event Wasteland weekend it's free
Yeah there's other post-apocalyptic lamps that are like a hundred dollars a ticket but those are usually like two 300 people meeting up at an abandoned Factory that barely has had any work put into it or a bunch of people running around the woods Wasteland weekend is a fully functional City with so much stuff to do😂
Its not real life, its just play, cosplay, no one takes this seriously
People take it seriously, just probably not in the way you might think
