I sold my Harley-Davidson Road Glide in 2016 secondary to an expensive renovation at our home. Renovation ended up costing an extra 14000 Canadian greater than what I had planned and I had a Harley Davidson to help pay for that. So no bikes since then. Sometimes you have to give up your hobbies for high priority situations. I hope to get another motorcycle again in the very near future. I am considering a Suzuki SV650 or a Yamaha MT07. So keep up the good videos if you continue to choose to ride motorcycles.
Motorcyclists are special people. We need the endorphin rush from wind therapy, as I call it. So selling your motorcycle and not riding anymore would not be good for your soul and that would not good for your marriage or your child. It is an expensive hobby, as long as you can afford it, then it's great. But, always remember you have to look after your family, most of all. Ride Safe.
I sold my MV Agusta Brutale 800 to send my 16 year old daughter to Australia for a year, the older then get the more expensive they get. I've got 3 kids and they're getting super expensive now, clubs, Yuku etc etc. I had no choice but sell. 😢
But at 16 years, they saw you and your passion all the way. Now they see how much you love them, and they see what you're willing to give for them.
You're the definition of a good parent
